yes, this is that, and that is this, huh Epi.

Wadr idc what the french thing, bc im not disagreeing that the world conflates the two terms, see.
or bam give us a diff term for the Cherokee Nation, etc, and i'll use it
around you. I mean even the french must have some term for the division there?

I'm only pointing out that English takes on the French term to make what is being described SEEM more respectable. :) French classes up the English.

Like the French liberté...which just means freedom...becomes liberty in English. Now some would say that liberty has more connotations in the word than freedom does. But that is because French makes things sound more refined. But there is no difference.

Same goes for royal (French) as meaning "kingly."

Nation for country. The same term.

Does a rendez-vous sound more official than a meeting? :)

Dave's Killer Bread! Good Seed! :)
srsly tho, worth every penny, buy the two pack at Sams

Yeah but ...Only God can command a stone be made bread:
Luke 4:2-3 Being forty days tempted of the devil. And in those days he did eat nothing: and when they were ended, he afterward hungered. [3] And the devil said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, command this stone that it be made bread.

Acts 4:11-12 This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. [12] Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

1 Peter 2:4-6 To whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious, [5] Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ. [6] Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded.

John 6:48 I am that bread of life.

But the church is voluntary at this point.
Very different understanding from what I see in the Bible, what we call "church" being the called out ones. We don't call ourselves.

Much love!

All who call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Paul wrote that. Simplicity itself.

Much love!
But in truth do not know the Lord ?
It's like you hear that some people say oh my god, oh my god, oh my god ? what are they truly saying ? such a one does not know what they are truly saying.

A person who is not truly born again does not know God, nor do they truly know who Jesus Christ is in fact.

That, of course, is not what I mean. A heart turning in faith to God.

Much love!

Phil. 3:8 Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,

For Paul, the Christian faith was an ongoing race towards inward conformity to Christ. It may surprise many that he still sought to win Christ even after many years of being a follower of Christ.

Phil. 3:10 That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;

Jesus came to us to teach us about a new kind of faith....the faith of Christ. This is a kind of faith that reconciles us to being in the presence of God. It also wields supernatural power...as attested to in the bible accounts.

Jesus said that even a small amount of this faith could do powerful works...miraculous works.

Phil. 3: 12 Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus.

There was no "done deal" salvation scheme in Paul's time. Paul was an athlete for God.

Hebrews 12
12:1 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,

2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of (our) faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Actually Jesus is the author and finisher of faith....not OUR faith. (the "our" was added in).

I believe Jesus said that to show that His faith could take us places we have never known...directly to be with God. Jesus told us to seek first the kingdom of God. But how do we do that? By faith!

So then everything hinges on having this kind of faith.
Since Jesus is the Author and Finisher of ___ faith, it is apparent that "our" human generated faith is useless, because it is not authored by Him.
Therefore, to "have the faith of Jesus", is to not have that which we copy or mimic of His faith, but rather to "have" the literal faith of Jesus Himself deposited within us, through the Gift of the Holy Spirit.

I believe what you are saying is this:
All "born again christians" have His faith moving within them, however all "religious christians" are moved by the faith of their own imagination.

There’s a lot of talk about running in this thread. When I look to the psalms I see it’s Jesus within us running the race. Not trying to steal anyone’s glory here, but myself I’d like to hear more about the Spirit of God moving, and less about the pathetic attempts of man.

The Psalms are so fresh and relevant, day by day, indeed... :)

Psalm 19:5 KJV
[5] Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race.
Which reminds us of what Christ has been doing since Pentecost: "spoiling" satan's goods and his house-
Luke 11[20] But if I with the finger of God cast out devils, no doubt the kingdom of God is come upon you.
[21] When a strong man armed keepeth his palace, his goods are in peace:
[22] But when a stronger than he shall come upon him, and overcome him, he taketh from him all his armour wherein he trusted, and divideth his spoils

Correction: I didn't notice that your note of the Tercata bible was a quote, which caused my error posts above.

Wow...just wow!
Jesus could have literally said to Him: I AM the stone that God makes into bread...
