I've had the strangest dream, any ideas of what it might be?

I had a dream once about rats and how at first they were scary and horrible but got nearer and nearer until they were pets. I think your dream is showing you the same thing; that with familiarity things that are sinful and evil can become acceptable and that we must be on our guard against those dangerous things we have let into our lives which appear to be innocuous.

I don't know, this dream felt so real, everything was where I left it and all my electronics worked which is super rare for a dream, and it has disturbed me quite a bit. Any clues of what it could mean? I haven't been praying as regularly as I used to, and haven't been to church in over a month, so maybe that could have something to do with it. I don't know if it's a vision or a dream anymore, and if it's the former, is it from God telling me to get back on track or is it Satan trying to entice me? I just have so many questions, but this has made me a lot more willing to pray and I will be heading to church tomorrow, so hopefully, that'll help.

I see you are 16 on your profile, still a teenager, and usually around that age, there are a lot of negative influences around you that will try and drag you away from God, and cleaning up your dream life might involve saying no to those negative influences.

People around you at school may think it's cool to cuss, may think it's alright to talk dirty, and you just got to learn to not get involved in that sort of stuff. They might encourage you to watch horror movies, play horror games, as it's seen as a thrill for people your age, again you should say no to that stuff I am not doing it, they might also encourage you to listen to music with lots of swearing and bad lyrics in them or encourage you to watch movies with lots of swearing in them and excessive amounts of blood and gore, again you got to learn to say no to that sort of stuff or set some boundaries, as some of these things have spiritual forces behind them, and can negatively influence dreams and visions.

I know it may be difficult at your age to put away some things, or stop doing some things, but it can help a lot in positively improving your spiritual life, dreams and visions. Also stepping up your prayer life and spending more time with God goes a long way too. Prayer before sleep is all so important.
