You don't actually know who tried to use a sharpie on that map. But you have to ask yourself "who would be stupid enough to try it?"

Yep.

I wonder how people in Alabama would have reacted if that erratic storm HAD run right across them and no one had ever mentioned the possibility?

People in Alabama did react. There was a brief panic caused by Trump's misinformation, until the National Weather Service put out a notice that he had it all wrong.

Storms do occasionally take odd twists, but the odds of some fool with a Sharpie getting it right and the meteorologists getting it wrong, are pretty slim.

It is really kind of pitiful when just the pocket change in the pants of someone you call a fool makes you look like a pauper.

I am on a mission to stop the enemy from spreading his lies and when a link or picture or claim is posted that needs further research to its validity and fact checked I am going to post the finding here in one location so it can be easily found.
I have no issue with the member and I am not attacking them I am simply fact checking and debunking fake information.

Don't hold you breath....I did mention some of them when they got posted.. the person doesn't seem to use reputable info/sites for posting from...or cares to double check that it is true or not.

I think the horse has bolted and here or anywhere else...fake news and fake pics are here to stay.

But, go for it...hopefully it will help a wee bit. :) ✟ xx

I didn't say who did it. Trump denied doing it. But no one believed him, did they? Would you have been dumb enough to try that? Do you even know anyone dumb enough to try it?

So who's a pauper, then?

Daddy gave him billions, but money can't fix stupid.

No, I believe he got 12 million after working for his father for years. That "might" have bought two hotels in those days. Do you know how many more billions he now has? (One single billion is equal to a thousand millions (1,000 x 1,000,000).

If your daddy gave you a single dollar bill, do you think you could have parlayed it into a thousand dollars? That is comparable to what Trump has done....... only it is about three and a half billion, not just one.

No, I believe he got 12 million after working for his father for years.

That was Trump's story. But you know how reliable he is...

New York Times: Trump Got $413 Million From His Dad, Largely From Tax Dodges
Bloomberg - Are you a robot?

Donald Trump's real business "genius" was being bailed out by Daddy: How Trump blew through $50 million before 35

Donald Trump can thank one person for righting his failing business — and it's not the GOP candidate

In September 1980, around the time Mr. Trump was laying the groundwork to build a casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey, his father lent him $7.5 million, a matter previously reported. In 1981, when Mr. Trump applied for a casino license, regulators learned he received a $100,000 salary as an executive vice president at his father’s company, Trump Management Inc., and yearly trust money that varied from around $32,000 a year to more than $200,000.

After The New York Times reported that Donald Trump 1995 tax records show he lost nearly $1 billion dollars in a year, Newsweek financial reporter Kurt Eichenwald re-examined the real estate magnate's early cash problems and found that when all of the loans and gifts from his father are taken into account, the candidate's business "genius" appears abysmal.

Using a report from the New Jersey Department of Law and Public Safety that summarizes Donald Trump's federal tax returns from the late 1970s (about which The Washington Post had reported in March), Eichenwald portrayed a younger Trump “unable to control his spending” and loading “himself up with debt from the credit line in an apparent belief that he could make enough money through other deals and investments to cover the interest payments.”

Trump's casino losses, however, continued past his 34th birthday. As The Washington Post's Michael Kranish and Marc Fisher describe in their new book, "Trump Revealed," after the younger Trump defaulted on the debt from his Taj Mahal casino, his father came to the rescue when Trump was at about to miss an interest payment on his Trump Castle casino in December 1990. According to the reporters, the elder Trump sent a lawyer to the Trump Castle to make an illegal loan to the ailing casino:

The lawyer, Howard Snyder, approached the casino cage and handed over a certified check for $3.35 million, drawn on Fred's account. Snyder then walked over to a blackjack table, where a dealer paid out the entire amount in 670 gray $5,000 chips. The next day, the bank wired another $150,000 into Fred's account at the Castle. Once again, Snyder arrived at the casino and collected the full amount in 30 more chips.

Donald Trump's real business "genius" was being bailed out by Daddy: How Trump blew through $50 million before 35

And of course, he's desperately trying to hide his tax returns, even though he's repeatedly promised to show them to us. For reasons we can all understand.

Donald Trump Would Be Richer If He’d Have Invested in Index Funds
Donald Trump’s net worth has grown about 300% to an estimated $4 billion since 1987, according to a report by the Associated Press. But the real estate mogul would have made even more money if he had just invested in index funds. The AP says that, if Trump had invested in an index fund in 1988, his net worth would be as much as $13 billion.

The S&P 500 has grown 1,336% since 1988.

Other billionaires’ net worths have beaten the stock market’s growth in that time. Bill Gates, for example, saw his increase 7,173%, to $80 billion, since 1988. Warren Buffett’s wealth grew 2,612% in the same time period, to $67.8 billion.
What's More Lucrative: "The Apprentice" or the S&P 500?

I was a better businessman than Trump. My money grew better than his. And I might not be the sharpest manager in the world, but I doubt if I'd lose money, running a casino.

@amadeus I just got tired of seeing all of fake news links, media reports and fake pics members have posted. I don't want to this to a biased thread but I do want to expose the enemy and his demons using our forum to spread gossip and lies and creating division.
It isn't just political....it is anything that is a lie needs to be exposed.
I wasn't so wise in the past to fact check these in the past because it's a CHRISTIAN Forum. You would think they be all about the truth.
I would like to see forum rules make members accountable to verify anything they post from the web.

Reminds me of all those silly Facebook memes, lol.

And you KNOW that these are not false statistics?
HOW do you KNOW for sure....you are just quoting someone else who put out this info...be it right or wrong.

NONE of us KNOW anything for sure... were never there...we know nothing. The only solid truth is God Himself....all the rest is sand.

I have enjoyed talking with you over the past couple of days; I think you have a heart after God. Your posts defending Trump however, seem to lack the depth I know you demand in your relationship with God. It appears as if you are willing to accept any glib or even illogical explanation from the White House, for Trumps latest grab for attention. I encourage you to look beyond the spin. Also, Trump and your relationship with God are not interdependent!

I think there are four camps in this country - ever Trumpsters, never Trumpsters, people who believe everyone is as corrupt as Trump, and those who do not care about politics at all. I am still in shock about how we got to this place.

We were the slowly boiling frog...we became complacent.

And you KNOW that these are not false statistics?

Forbes carefully compiled their data on his known losses and investments.

HOW do you KNOW for sure....

Epistemological questions can only give us degrees of confidence. Very little that we know can be absolutely proven.

you are just quoting someone else who put out this info...be it right or wrong.

Since these folks make a living at doing that, and have been very successful at it, I have a good deal of confidence in them.

Much greater as a percentage of what I started out with than Trump has.

My dad didn't leave me a lot of money, but he did teach me morals and responsibility. And that worked better for me than all those millions Daddy gave Trump worked for him.

Yeah, I remember those four years you held the highest office in the land...……. or... was that some "stupid" guy, instead?
