2 Corinthians 12:9,

9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

So how do we put all this together and it become a living reality of daily life. When you have no strength to carry on, when everyday living becomes to much and you feel you can't go any further, or you get a bad report from the doctor. Greater is he that is in you than he that is in the world. When you have no faith, he does, when you can't believe, he does. In my weakness, then I'm made strong, because it is his strength, his life, his all becomes my all.

I remember as a young believer how I felt I could do anything, I had strength and faith to believe God for anything. But it wasn't long and a time came when all that left and you were challenged to grow up. Then you would go through periods of trusting and still feeling like it was you that brought all this abought only to have the challenge return to grow up into him. All the levels of growth you will go through, no one comes in knowing all the works of God. Your understanding will go through challenge after challenge, just about the time you get everything firgured out, you will have to move on or stay in the schoolhouse.

We have this treasure in earthen vessels that must be discovered, Christ in you the hope of glory. The father's challenge to grow up into him and your understanding of the things of God will never cease until (until the appointed time of the father) you see Christ as your life. A revelation Paul said that belongs to every born again believer, Galatians 1:11-12. You put it together by revelation, the revelation of the indwelling Christ revealed in you to you as your only life, Galatians 2:20. Your understanding changed by the HolySpirit when you are yielded to him. He is the only one that can change your mind.

Marriage relationships should take a page from the HolySpirit's book and see none can change another. You could save alot of money on your counsel, we can make efforts to get along but true relationship in Christianity is seeing Christ in each other and acting like it. There is always action invovled, there must be expression that go along with the words you speak. I can see why so many would like to get a divorce, the way men act sometimes looks nothing like Christ, and I have seen the women do the same thing. In all fairness we have not heard the gospel of grace preached like it should be, the only thing we know is self with Christ being out there somewhere. The self-effort gospel is still trying to straighten out Adam to no avail, but we try again and again. It's like going around and around a moutain, nothing changes, not until you see Christ in you as your life. Why is that so important? First it's the gospel, Gal. 1:11 Paul certified it, and second it's the truth. If you only get one truth fixed in you all your born again days it should be the truth of Christ in you as your only life, revealed only by the HolySpirit using the written word of God, Galatians 1:15-16,

15 But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother's womb, and called me by his grace,
16 To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood:

All of this was quite good but what I posted above stood out as especially good.

Such a excellent read, be most blessed as you, we, all that are willing, discover the treasure of Christ in them.

@soul man A comforting text for the believer, indeed...
