I have spent many many many hours studying Revelation & the rest of the Bible in order to figure out the order of the events of Revelation, and am convinced that the following order is completely or almost completely correct, for it harmonizes all parts of the Bible:Outline of Daniel 9's 70th Week (the 7-year Great Tribulation)The loosing of the seven seals of Rev. 6-8 overlaps the events of Rev. 8-19, just as the creation story of Genesis 2 explains in greater detail particular aspects of the creation story already told in Genesis 1! [The "four horsemen" devils corresponding to the first four seals are "sealed" at "the Great River Euphrates" (Rev. 9) just as Satan is later "sealed" in the abyss (Rev. 20)!] FIRST 3 1/2 YEARS:-Matthew 24:4-14, Luke 21:8-19, Hebrews 11 (the "great cloud of witnesses" [Heb. 12:1]) -foreshadowed by: Jesus' sending out of 70 witnesses "two & two" into all the cities "into which He was about to come" in Luke 10:1-16; the witnessing of Jeremiah in Jeremiah 1-38 prior to the armies led by Babylon the Great sieging Jerusalem in Jeremiah 39; the witnessing of Moses & Aaron during the plagues (the trumpet judgments) in Exodus 4-11-The first four seals of Rev. 6: the four horsemen=the four angels of Rev. 9-The seven trumpet judgments (Rev. 8-11) in that order-144000 Christians sealed by the Holy Spirit (Eph.1) and having the "little book" of the Bible written in their minds (Rev. 10) like Ezekiel (Ezek.2) witness "two and two" (Luke 10:1) in the great cities of the world (ex. Rome, NYC, Paris, Athens, Jerusalem, Mecca, Tyre [Ezek. 26], etc.) which fit the description of Mystery Babylon during this entire period (Rev. 11) (see this link for proof that the 144K & the "two" witnesses are the same & are not at all or mostly not ethnic Jews, and for much more on Mystery Babylon's connections with the great cities of the world: http://www.primaryproofsofchristiani...witnesses.html )SECOND 3 1/2 YEARS & the short period "immediately after the tribulation of those days" (Matt. 24:29):-Matthew 24:15-31, Luke 21:20-27, foreshadowed by Exodus 12-40 in which Israel flees into the wilderness of sin to be "tried" (Rev. 2-3) & purified of sin -Satan & his angels "fall as lightning from heaven" after 144000 ascend there, due to their testimony (Rev. 12, Luke 10:17-20 after the 70 witnesses return to Jesus with joy)-the SEALED 144000 are now singing in heaven (Rev. 14) & praying to God to avenge them (Rev. 6: the martyrs of the 5th SEAL)...-...while their brethren "lukewarm" Christians (Rev. 3:15) are on Earth being purified of sin in the "wilderness" (Rev. 12, Hebrews 12, Matt. 24:16-20) and are chased by the dragon Satan (represented by Pharaoh one of the many types of the Antichrist)-Rev. 13: ...while the "king of the north" Antichrist is demanding that everyone worship him & his image or else die, like type of the Antichrist Nebuchadnezzar does in Daniel 3-Rev. 15: THEN martyrs die in addition to the 144000 martyr witnesses pictured in Rev. 12 & 14-Rev. 15-16, 6: THEN the 7 bowl judgments with the 6th seal being opened around the time of the pouring out of the 7th bowl-Rev. 17-18, Jeremiah 50-51, Isaiah 13, Habakkuk 2: THEN the fall of Mystery Babylon the Great "the hammer of the nations" (Jer. 50:23) after it has made desolate the many great cities throughout the world also fitting the description of Mystery Babylon (Jer. 46-49, Ezekiel 25-31, Hab. 1-2) throughout the Tribulation period-Rev. 19, 7 (between 6th & 7th seals): THEN the rapture of the rest of the saints accompanied by the resurrection of any martyred during the Tribulation (1 Thess. 4) (NOT BEFORE THE TRIBULATION!)-Rev. 19, 8: THEN the 7th seal opened, when there is silence in heaven because the saints have left with Christ to destroy the Antichrist Gog & his armies! (Ezekiel 38-39):blessyou:notice that "the two lampstands" witnessing in Rev. 11 include a very small portion (literally? 144000 people) of "the seven lampstands which are the seven churches" (Rev. 1:20) representing the entire body of people in the world professing to be Christians in our age and any age in history including John's. To be of this select group, which will guarantee you see Jesus before the rest of the saints of the Tribulation, guarantee you a position as an "elder"/"king"/"priest" during the Millenium Kingdom, guarantee you don't fall into Hell like 2/3 of those tempted by the Devil in the wilderness will (Exodus 32: the golden calf, Zechariah 13:8), you must:-"keep the Word of My endurance" (Rev. 3:10) by meditating on the law of the LORD "day & night" (Psalm 1):study:-love God with ALL your heart & mind or else you will have to undergo temptation in the wilderness during the Tribulation (Rev. 13:15-19)-cry to God all day about the abominations committed by people who love the world rather than God with all their heart & mind in order to be sealed (Ezekiel 9, some Psalms)-be a "virgin" "undefiled by women" (Revelation 14:4 "These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins"): Since all true Christians are called "virgins" for Christ the bridegroom including people who aren't literally virgins (Matt. 25), the word "virgin" here could refer to someone not "defiled" by sin (ex. Ezekiel 23: Israel described as "defiled by the Babylonians," and Babylon the Great is described as a "woman" in Rev. 17)

I dont disagree some with parts of this but its still not entirely correct perhaps two heads are better than one here The two witness are men one is most likely Elijah either himself or comes in the spirit of Elijah as John did . the second we do not know for sure ..Many believe it to be Moses .It is my personal feeling (not scripture) that one will represent the Law(O.T.) and one grace the(N.T,) look at your symbolics here in the Bible the lamp stands are Church's but two witness stand with two lamp stands not 7 ... I think These two lamp stands in today's language are the same two branches (sticks) the entire bible is about that is the law (judah/Jews) and Grace (Israel/ Christians) (see joining of these two sticks at 2nd coming in Eze 37) All the trumps are in order the Satan is kicked from heaven at the End of the 5th trump issuing in the 6th trump ...the 6th trump is the tribulation the first half of the tribulation Satan is a political figure he heals the deadly wound setup a one world government system ... The second half begins when the abomination of desolation (spoken of by Daniel ) occurs that is when Satan stands on the temple mt. in the holy of hollies and declares himself to be God ... This is when the persicution of the Elect really starts (mark 13) they will be put on trial they are not to premeditate what we will say for the holy ghost spirit will speak through them (think Pentecost day for your type here) There is no ascention written that I see the Saints under the altar that cry out but they are already with him. They are the past martyrs.. the 144,000 of the Elect on earth are sealed in Rev.7 Revelation 7:3 "Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads."These Elect are the same Elect (Gods warriors on earth) that will be persicuted and put on trial in the second half of the tribulation ...Mystery Babylon is this New one world system/ religion that Satan declares himself god of ...

The Two Witnesses of Rev. 11=144,000 Christians who will witness in pairs Rev. 1:26: "the seven lampstands are the seven churches" ANDRev. 2-3: Smyrna & Philadelphia ("brotherly love") are the only two of the seven churches (which represents all people professing to be Christians today, throughout history, and in John's day) not rebuked by Jesus in Revelation 2-3 and threatened to all be "cast" into terrible "Tribulation" ANDRomans 11:17: the Gentiles are called an "olive tree" ANDLuke 10:1: "The Lord sent them [seventy disciples] out two and two [to witness the Gospel] before his face into every city and place, whither He Himself would come [foreshadowing of events preceding Jesus' Second Coming]." BUTRev. 11:4: the "two witnesses" are "the two lampstands" & "the two olive trees" which represent God the Father & God the SonTHEREFORE the Two Witnesses of Rev. 11 are Christians who will witness in pairs in many cities Furthermore, many facts show that the 144,000=the sets of Two Witnesses.* For instance, consider -that the 144,000 are called "the firstfruits" (Rev. 14:4) as Christ is called "the firstfruit of those fallen asleep" in reference to his rising from the dead (1 Corinthians 15:20) along with the fact that the people martyred (including the witnesses) and ONLY the people martyred are said in Revelation 20 to partake of the "FIRST resurrection."-that the 144,000 are pictured in Heaven in Revelation 14 & 15 BEFORE the rest of the Christians arrive, for during this time the Christians are in the "wilderness" (Revelation 12, Exodus 16-17, Matthew 3 & 4) hungering & thirsting in order to undergo purification from sin & thereby be made pleasing to God's taste after He had spit them out (Rev. 3:16)the 144,000 who are sealed in Revelation 7 are "spiritual Israel," not ethnic Jews (at least not altogether), who are said by Jesus to be of the "synagogue of Satan" (Rev. 2,3 in the passages about the two churches of Smyrna & Philadelphia which will have members witnessing in pairs):-"The real Jew" is the person who is "circumcised in the heart" (Romans 2:28) -Christians are children of "the heavenly Jerusalem" (Galatians 4), which represents the "city" (association) of true Christians. -Israel means "has prevailed with God" [in gaining the "blessing" of eternal life which Jacob/Israel strove with Jesus "the angel of the LORD" for in Genesis 32] IF YOU ARE NOT A "VIRGIN", YOU WILL EXPERIENCE MUCH OF THE SUFFERING DESCRIBED IN THE BOOK OF REVELATION VERY SOON. (Revelation 14:1-4 "These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins") Since all true Christians are called "virgins" for Christ the bridegroom including people who aren't literally virgins (Matt. 25), the word "virgin" here could refer to someone not "defiled" by sin (ex. Ezekiel 23: Israel described as "defiled by the Babylonians," and Babylon the Great is described as a "woman" in Rev. 17) Prepare yourself by diligently seeking God through prayer and "meditating on the law of the LORD day & night" (Psalm 1) so that you are not part of the 2/3 of lukewarm Christians who will "fall" in the "wilderness" because of temptation and end up in Hell forever "where the fire is not quenched." (Mark 9:48)These two witnesses will be witnessing about Jesus in all "the great cities" (Rev. 11:8)- i.e. the Babylons "the great city" (Rev. 17:18)- of the Earth, including Rome, New York City, Hollywood Babylon, Paris Babylon, San Francisco ("Babylon by the Bay"), etc. They will have miraculous powers like Moses & Aaron to testify to their truth! They will be resurrected to show the whole world that Jesus really rose from the dead! Many cities including Paris currently or in the past have fit the description of Mystery Babylon, including Paris which was the capital of Napoleon Empire & was thereby a foreshadowing of "the great city which rules over the kings of the Earth." (Rev. 17:18) This site discusses the many Babylons throughout world history: http://primaryproofsofchristianity.com/bible.htmlThe Bible indicates there are many Babylons by applying the language of Rev. 17-18 to many cities in the Bible, including Jerusalem (Deut. 4:6, Lam 1:1), Nineveh "the great city" (Jonah 1, Zeph. 2:15), Babylon, Tyrus/Tyre (Ezekiel 26-27), etc. They will have the spirit of Elijah as John the Baptist was said to have had by Jesus, who even equated John with Elijah (Matthew 11).* That is the meaning the last sentence of the Old Testament in Malachi 4 that "I will send Elijah before the great & terrible day of the LORD."As there are types of Christ & the Antichrist, so there are Types (foreshadowings) of the two witnesses (144,000=12x12,000) -Moses & Aaron-Elijah & Elisha-Paul & Barnabas-Paul & Silas-the 12 Apostles-the 12 minor prophets-the 4 major prophets-the 24 elders (which include some of the above-mentioned people)Also consider very carefully the passages I quoted in my first post, which show beyond any doubt that there are more than 2 witnesses during the 1st half of the Tribulation.

The Two Witnesses of Rev. 11=144,000 Christians who will witness in pairs...
This is boloney... That is not what God says.Revelation 11:3 - And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.Revelation 11:4 - These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth. The word tree in the bible never refers to a group, but rather an individuals. Candlesticks are obvious churches. (Revelation 1:20) However they are only two churches that God is pleased with. And one per each church that God is pleased with will be a witness that God hath given power of...

In biblical symbology when god tells us a thing represents something that is him giving us his interptation of the symbols we can then use those symbols where ever they apply not jusyt in the verse the interptation is given ...Candlesticks are churchs this could be applied anywhere in scripture that the surrounding language supports it ...other example stars can be Angels ..trees can be men ..bread can be him...seed can be the Word ...field can be the World ...waters/seas can be peoples ...Once God gives us the interptation of his symbols we can use them throughout his word for a deeper better understanding the rule is God interpts his own symbols ... Mens interptation of his symbols are just guess they mean little God interpts his own ..Mal 4:5 Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD: (read of the events of Elijah and Ahab and Jezzabel 1 kings) then read of the two wittness's in Rev notice the simularities the both shut up the rain for example think of Jezabel and Ahab as types of Antichrist Rev 11:3 And I will give [power] unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred [and] threescore days, clothed in sackcloth. Rev 11:4 These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth candlesticks (lampstands) =churches The two wittness (trees are men) stand beside to the two candlesticks Rev 11:5 And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed. Rev 11:6 These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will. Rev 11:7 And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them. Rev 11:8 And their dead bodies [shall lie] in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified. These two wittness are seprate from the Elect (144,000) sealed on earth

Friends, you both fail to see that God uses the words "candlestick" AND "tree" in reference to groups of people at times: Romans 11:17: the Gentiles are called an "olive tree"And the two witnesses are called "two candlesticks" AND "two olive trees" (Revelation 11:4)They are two because God will send out the 144000 "two & two into all the cities to which He is about to come" (Luke 10:1) [at the Second Coming] in order to symbolize that God the Father & Jesus have the same essential nature, as is clear from the following types of the two witnesses:-Moses who is "like God" to Aaron & Aaron his "prophet"-Elijah "the lord" & Elisha-Zerubbabel the governor & Joshua the priest-Paul & Barnabas-Paul & SilasI'd appreciate it if we could speak more civilly with the love of Christ, rather than saying things such as "that's baloney"God bless,George

even more undeniable proof of 144K=2 witnesses:the wall of the New Jerusalem is "144 cubits, a MAN's measure, that is, an ANGEL's" (Rev. 21:17); this verse echoes the "measuring" of the "temple" and of the "altar and them that sacrifice in it" in Rev. 11:1 in the chapter about the two witnesses, for true Christians like the 144000 martyrs are "the temple of the Holy Spirit" (1 Corinithians 3) and the 144K are pictured worshipping under an "altar" in Rev. 6. Exodus 4-10 & Rev. 11:6 ("they smite the Earth with PLAGUES as often as they will") suggest that the 144000 witnesses are actually the agents through which the seven trumpet judgments of Rev. 8-9 take place! This hypothesis is confirmed by the facts that the ANGELS are said to perform the plagues.

I suppose Rev. 21:17 symbolizes the fact that the 144K who symbolize God the Father & God the Son are the means by which many people will enter into the New Jerusalem, and they will be guardians/kings/priests (Rev. 20) in the New Jerusalem just as walls guard?

You are wrong according to scripture no matter what you think the 144.000 are even explained it is not two ....................................its 12,000 from each tribe these are the Elect the two wittiness's are not the 144,000 and it never says they are.Strickly your words/ideasWe are to follow Gods Word here not your interpretation of Gods Word if it goes against scripturethe 144,000 are the Elect They are not the two wittiness's Mal 4:5 Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORDElijah is a person not a group of people Rev 11:3 And I will give [power] unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred [and] threescore days, clothed in sackclothThere are two wittiness's separate from the 144,000 the seven Church's were types and God is only pleased with 2 of them Smyrna and Philadelphia

Have studied and taught endtimes for many years. That is certainly a good observation. I am also looking into the possibility of Enoch as well. I have been researching now for over 2 weeks and listened to over 20+hours of good investigative teaching on some of these aspects and the coming end time delusion.Keep up the good work here.(This is my first post after I found a group that holds to a non pretrib rapture - not too many of us, but hopefully a growing number ;-)

holyisthelord, It is commendable that you have spent so much time studying the Holy Scriptures, BUT!!! The prophecy at Dan 9:24-27, has nothing to do with the Great Tribulation, which will come in our time. This prophecy was, just as was anounced in verse 25, it was a prophecy to the Jews of the time when the Messiah would come, and the things he would accomplish during a 31/2 year ministry. This prophecy was written to Jews who understood exactly what was meant. To us we have the past to look back on, so we can understand the prophecy, because we can see now how it worked out in the past. Notice the whole prophecy was for a period of 70 weeks. Today, we know that this prophecy meant, not a period of weeks, but a period of WEEKS of YEARS, or 7 X 70=490 years. Notice that the prophecy is diveded up into three434 time periods 7 weeks and 62 weeks. 7weeks=49 years, 62weeks =434 years, and then the last or 70eth week=7 years. Notice verse 25 tells us that from the going forth of the word to rebuild Jerusalem to Messiah there would be 7 weeks= 49years. and 62 weeks =434 years. At Nehemiah 2:1, we are given the date when the word went forth to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem; in the 20th year of Artaxerxes. History tells us that date was 455BC. So the period of 70weeks start at 455BC. The first time period mentioned is 7weeks. from 455BC down to 406BC we get 49 years. This is the date that the walls of Jerusalem were rebuilt. This next date is very important because we must add the two dates together 7 weeks and 62 weeks- 483 years. If we add 483 years to 455BC, remembering there was no 0 year, we come to the year 29CE, which is the date that Jesus came to John the Baptist, to be baptized. Jesus became the ANOINTED at that time, 29CE. Jesus is the Holy of Holies. The next time period is 1 week = seven years. This has to do with the 31/2 years of Jesus ministry, and a 31/2 year period that the covenant would remain for the many. This is the 31/2 year period after the death of Jesus before the way was opened up for the uncircumcised gentiles to become part of the Christian Congregation. This happened in 36CE when Cornelius became the first uncircumcised gentile accepted into the Christian Congregation, Acts 10:1,2, 30-35,44-48. Notice verse 27 which speaks about gift offering and sacrifice would cease. This meant that with the death of Jesus there was no longer a need to sacrifice animals for forgiveness of sins, because Jesus did this ONCE for all time to take away sins. The last part of verse 26 and the last part off verse 27 is talking about the nation of Rome destroying Jerusalem, as it did in 70CE. The Disgusting Thing mentioned here and in Matt 24:15 is the Roman armies going onto the Holy ground around the Temple where no gentile was supposed to go. By going back and looking to history we can see clearly how this prophecy was fulfilled by Jesus and the nation of Jews. The Jews understood this prophecy. That is why they were in expectation of the Messiah when John the Baptist came, thinking John might be the Messiah, Luke 3:15.:study:

Jtartar, you are wrong about Daniel 9:27. It will come in our time for that verse is what Christ quoted...Matthew 24:15 - When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)Mark 13:14 - But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that readeth understand,) then let them that be in Judaea flee to the mountains:What did Daniel 9:27 say?Daniel 9:27 - And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

Daniel 9:23-27 (King James Version) 23At the beginning of thy supplications the commandment came forth, and I am come to shew thee; for thou art greatly beloved: therefore understand the matter, and consider the vision. 24Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy. 25Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times. 26And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined. 27And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.I don't know how you don't see a gap between week 69 and week 70. First of all, if week 70 came right after week 69 in time, it would impossible for "him" to cause sacrifice and oblation to cease. In order to cause sacrifice and oblation to cease, sacrifice and oblation must be occurring. In order for sacrifice and oblation to be occurring, there must be a sanctuary! Since the sanctuary was destroyed in the week prior, it is impossible for the 70th week to occur without the temple being rebuilt first. Since this has STILL not happened, the 70th week is yet to occur.:read:
