I don't remember. She must have said how long on her first episode.
@CharismaticLady Perhaps so, yes. She seems immensely experienced now. Years back very few women seemed to make it as tattoo artists, but it's women like Ryan Ashley who have worked so successfully to change this. (It could be said that if a woman for whatever reason wants to be inked by a woman, then she should have this option, and this is now increasingly feasible, right?)

..you can't live in a very built up area then if you cannot find ' anyone ' that has liked their tattoos years later- I know loads of people that like what they had done, many are now in their 40--60's age ranges, me included.
@Butterfly For some ppl, they instinctively dislike the idea and associate it with being wracked with guilt, etc.

For others, getting tattooed is an adult decision that is a totally natural, voluntary development and is wholesome, unregretted and unregrettable.

I love Ryan Ashley's look, but she does have some tats that don't go with the rest. They are too dark.

If you like the pain of getting tattooed, you may like a non-ink show called Kings of Pain. These two guys catch and allow themselves to be stung or bitten by the most painful stings and bites on the planet for science.
@CharismaticLady BTW, do you think that, if it the custom for women to be tattooed as well as men had been more widespread earlier than subsequently became the case, you might yeas ago have become more open to it? (No need to answer very specifically; just generally speaking...)

No, I doubt it. I know myself to be impulsive, and am trying to control that. Besides, my tastes change, and the good stuff is being produced now, not back then.

@CharismaticLady Thanks; and I guess the question was also very hypothetical, and could have been stated in other ways. I guess it could instead have been asked in terms of, Would you now want to receive something of the now available good stuff, if you were at a different stage of life? (although this is somewhat convoluted, I know, and maybe equally hypothetical, maybe no answer is even possible.)

I still think of it as a gray area. People must make peace with the Holy Spirit on a case-by-case basis.
@Sabertooth Oh I know what you mean, I think. But while some Christians might think of it as a 'just about permissible' activity, others, such as the young lady my wife and I talked to who had the whole of John 3.16 tattooed on her wrist area, would even regard it pragmatically as a highly useful witness means, the parlor inking for which might be received with strong, positive conviction.
