Stop trusting in man

In every generation, the secular world worships a god. He can be the sun or moon, or people like emperors or in today's world; scientists. But Isaiah 2:22 says;"Stop trusting in man who has but a breath in his nostrils. Of what account is he?"But those people who don't know God, whether they claim to or not, have no choice but to trust in man. So they believe every popular myth that scientists come up with until those myths are discarded for new myths.But since most, if not all, secular scientists throw out the flood which has been documented by the accounts of over 200 ancient cultures and exchange it for fairy tales, like frozen water covering the earth, that no one in history can document, then their dating methods before the flood can't possibly be accurate. There is no way to know what millions of gallons of water can do to objects and unless scientists take that into account, then their dating methods have to be thrown out.Nevertheless, those who put their trust in the seen rather than the unseen will trust the fallible minds of men who change their minds with the seasons. But once they have abandoned God's word for the words of men, they have no place to return once scientists change their minds again. So they would fare better to understand why God said; "For the wisdom of the world is foolishness in His sight." Only when you believe that verse will you see the obvious flaws in the opinions of scientists.
The Word came first. And you suggest that you meant us not to trust the Alapha and Omega?

I don't know why people hate science so much. After all the way you live today with all the technology you posses is because of science. Science is great and agrees with many aspects of the Bible. So really to people that do not know the full story attack what they do not know.

Now there are alot of thoughts that passed my mind about some of theses threads and some people on this site. No mention of particular members. I tend to think that science doesn't always detest God. Now in some aspects it does. Mathematically speaking it doesn't. (and I dont think you can say mathematics isn't a part of science) Chemical reactions does this detest God's word? Not that I believe. Scientists make up their own stories..(theories) I disagree with. Just as I disagree with people who state that what they read in God's word is what it means. Now you may be a bit confused as to what I'm saying. I am saying that people have to be mindful of what they state the scriptures mean. Like for example in Revelation...people say "this" is the beast, "this" is the false prophet and "this" is the mark of the beast. What I think is that if the interpretaion was so clear, we would have no trouble descerning these. Now we however can make good judgement and stay away from people that may be of a bad "seed". Don't think it's just scientists that detest God's word...it is even "fellow christians". You believe what these scholars and everyone elses interpretaion is? Proverbs 30:6 Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar. We tend to be opionated and argue things no problem in general, but be very careful when it comes to the Lord's word.

In other words colleges were generally a church run organization.Never enough funding. Most students endured hardships. Then everything started to change. Slowly at first. A bit of yeast in the works.Wealthy people such as Andrew Carnegie made abundant funding available through his charitable foundation. There was one rule ... no funding to anything religious .....Slowly these Bible colleges made use of these funds and reduced the "religious" content until there was no religion and lots of funds.Then along came Darwin and his theory to fill the gap. Nothing could be further from the truth. Apes can't breed human descendants any more than humans can breed giraffes as descendants. That's why there are exactly ZERO accounts from anyone in history of the ancestors of humans being apes. SCIENTISTS ARE NOT INFALLIBLE GODS. They are fallible human beings whose wisdom is FOOLISHNESS TO GOD. And considering that many scientists are turning away from the theory of evolution in droves, then people who blindly believe them will look as foolish as they do every time they change their minds again. But those who have the most to lose of all are those who have abandoned God's words for the lies of scientists because they have NO PLACE TO GO when scientists turn away from their own theories.God tells us how he created man in Genesis 2:7, "For the Lord God formed the man out of the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life." That's why the flesh and bones of man decay back into dust when he dies. But Jesus also tells us that FEW will believe God. And Jesus is right again as always.
CaricoI think you will find both Richard & I believe in Creation , not Darwin Evolution.I did not say it clearly in my post so now I have. Thanks.Do you have any opinion Carico , about Christians who spend a lot of time trying to argue old earth theories ? Do you follow old earth theories ? I do not. To me it is trying to be an apologist for Darwin while trying to be a creationist at the same time. Martin W.
