It's a very scholarly work. Bullinger researched and found how the original names and meanings of the 12 star constellations of the Zodiac went into confusion under pagnism. It turns out the original names and meanings relate directly to God's Word.
Thus even before Moses and the giving of the law, people on earth had God's Word in the stars as a witness.
Bullinger discovered the original meaning of the Sphinx in an Egyptian temple (Dendera I think). The Sphinx was in a hieroglyph associated with the constellations of Virgo and Leo. The ancient symbol for Virgo was a man, pointing to Christ. And the symbol for Leo was a lion. So some pagan created the Sphinx to represent it, but in a corrupted form. The actual meaning of the Sphinx is the start of God's Plan of Salvation through Christ beginning in the constellation Virgo, and the end of His Plan for this world in Leo (lion).
It's interesting that the Jewish historian Josephus (100 A.D), said that the sons of Seth were the actual builders of the Great Pyramid of Giza. He said they built two great pillars, one of stone (which still stood in Egypt in his days), and another of brick (which was no longer in his days). Josephus said they built it as a witness to God's Word. If that be true, then that's why the Great Pyramid reveals so many alignments with the star constellations.
Isaiah 19:19 mentions a pillar to God along the border of Egypt. It's said that in Hebrew gematria the numeric value of the Isaiah 19:19 verse exactly equals the height of the Great Pyramid in pyramid inches, from the base to its missing apex. A study of the archaeological discoveries about the Great Pyramid reveals the Egyptians did not build it. All the later pyramids the Egyptians built were of imperfect brick, and they used them as burial chambers. The only Egyptian artifact found in the Great Pyramid is a cartouche above the threshold of the queen's chamber, and it was added by the Egyptians long after the Great Pyramid was built (see The Secrets Of The Great Pyramid by Thompkins).
