Your pudding was based on eschatological theories, how am I currently to test them?

Deut. 18:22 22 when a prophet speaks in the name of the Lord, if the word does not come to pass or come true, that is a word which the Lord has not spoken; the prophet has spoken it presumptuously, you need not be afraid of him.

Start by comparing the "Prophetic" Psalms Chapters & Verses against the respective Historical Record.

And next we might be able to use Scripture to confirm the "Prophetic" Psalms premise!

I can give my opinion/observation/experience on the verse. Is that insufficient?

Now can you give a SIMILAR opinion/observation/experience as to whether the J.R. Church premise has any Scriptural AND Historical basis?

Bobby Jo
Well again, it's speculative because it's lacking Biblical terminology, and it's eschatological. So no, I can't prove or disprove the conclusion. But, chances are, because of the egregious, ignorant, misguided and incompetent methodology, not one shred of it is true.

That's because your pudding is actually diarrhea. ...

The critical term is not "diarrhea", it's "regurgitation", -- because that's we get every Sunday from the HIRELING.

Men are designed to hear from GOD. Women are designed to hear from their husbands (men). And any man that relies on another man to connect him to GOD -- IS A WOMAN.

And come to think of it, HIRELINGS are never referred to in "positive terms", but the Church IS INSTRUCTED to FULLY PARTICIPATE on an INDIVIDUAL BASIS, whether by song, doctrine, tongue, interpretation, and/or revelation, -- because GOD knows the HIRELINGS are non-value-added.

Tell me more Pastor, I believe everything you say! -- Yeah, NOT.

It's ok that we can't think, reason, research, assess, or decide, -- that's what men are for. We women aren't equipped ...

To All,

It's a simple exercise. Does the 19th Book of the Bible (Psalms), Chapter 48 = 19 - 48, depict the international circumstances surrounding the Recognition of the Nation/State of Israel?

It shouldn't take a person fluent in ancient Hebrew, or with a degree from a cemetery (sometimes spelled seminary). It simply takes reading ONE CHAPTER of Scripture and having a little Historical knowledge from the Jewish perspective.

But I guess that's too much to ask a person who asserts "Christianity".

I don't disagree with your "reference number" observation. I simply disagree that they're not part of SCRIPTURE!
That is just stupid.
Afterall, English, binary, UPC's, and palm/retinal scans are part of Prophecy
Are they? Where is that? Or is that just assumptions you are making?

Bobby Jo, you are out of your mind. You absolutely scare me!
Stop the nonsense, how dare you claim prophecy based on such man-made, subjective and inconsistent data? How many exegetical errors did you just commit in this one post? Are you so unable to read and interpret scripture properly, that you'd rather play children games by attempting to extrapolate meaning from the actual Book, Chapter & Verse numbers, instead of the words within? You are absolutely possessed!
After everything that you decried in your initial post, then you go and do this?
If I didn't know better, I'd swear that you were joking, seriously.
You scare me!

"the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence ... ", -- where people presume that Christians will be persecuted
? they do? i never did, hmm.
when in fact WE are the ones who must use "violence" (better: ardent action) to receive the things of GOD.
narf, good one
You just don't get it. EVERYTHING I SAY is STUPID. -- So why hang around???

... You scare me!

YOU scare GOD. -- Your mind is make up, without examining any evidence, in spite of GOD calling you to use reason.

Isaiah 1:18 “Come now, let us reason together, says the Lord ...

Go join @David Taylor. Maybe you can both run for Democratic seats in Congress.

And if people don't believe we're in the Tribulation, -- take a look around in this "christian" (small "c") Forum! :)

To All,

In all my life I've never seen two Christians so afraid of Scripture. But here before us we see these individuals REFUSE to read a single Chapter from the Book of Psalms. -- What could they possibly be so afraid of, except what GOD has for the church.

Is this where the church is today? Afraid of the Bible? Afraid to have a rational and reasonable discussion between Christians? Certainly there are "pastors" (and I've witnessed it first hand) DEMAND that parishioners ACCEPT everything they say, -- and if someone points to Scripture as the foundation of their faith, the "pastor" KICKS THEM OUT OF HIS CHURCH. Of course, afterwards I confronted the "pastor" and his "Board of Trustees" and rebuked them all for their corruption and cowardice, and never returned. And it's probably only a coincidence that the church went down to a hand full of "regulars" before the "pastor" finally left.

Part of my consternation is that I expected these men to be Christians (capital "C") when they were only christians (small "c").

Why are you lying? Nobody has said they will not read a chapter. I have only said the numbers of a chapter have no significance.

Read it again in the CONTEXT which I've provided.

Whew, it's like pulling teeth ...

Here is how I know you are wrong. You started this whole thing by quoting "no man knows the day or hour" and claiming that we do because it is cited in Scripture. Except it wasn't cited in Scripture. You gave a cryptic theory breakdown of chapter numbers and verse numbers and position of books in the Bible (none of which is part of Scripture itself) to come up with 1948 as the year Christ would return. But there is one small, well actually major, problem with your theory. Christ did not return. There were no trumpet blasts. He did not return. It hasn't happened. So right there this nonsense about 1948 should stop. It's lunacy.

And yes, Psalm 48 is talking about Israel. Ancient Israel in all her glory.
