Simply stated, this statement is not contained in Scripture, and while it bears a similarity to a certain place in Scripture, it does not say the same thing. So base your ideas on this thought or not, but it doesn't come from the Bible.

No actually. God has the same message delivered once for all. So is it possible for us to believe different things? Yes. Is it possible for both of us to be correct? No. There is only one correct interpretation of Scripture. So here are the choices. I am right, you are right, or neither of us are right.

Once message once for all?
Consider for example this verse penned by the Apostle Paul:

"Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?" II Cor 6:14

And then consider these verses:

The beginning of the word of the LORD by Hosea. And the LORD said to Hosea, Go, take unto thee a wife of whoredoms and children of whoredoms: for the land hath committed great whoredom, departing from the LORD.
So he went and took Gomer the daughter of Diblaim; which conceived, and bare him a son." Hosea 1:2-3

What has happened here? Was Hosea in error or was he an exception or was it because he was a prophet or was it because he lived before Jesus and before Paul wrote his cited epistle? Did not what Hosea wrote as well as what Paul wrote come out of the mouth of God? Then hear Jesus?

"But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God." Matt 4:4

"For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven" Psalm 118:89

"Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him." Prov 30:5

"The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever." Isaiah 40:8

"So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it." Isaiah 55:11

"Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away." Matt 24:35

"And these are they by the way side, where the word is sown; but when they have heard, Satan cometh immediately, and taketh away the word that was sown in their hearts." Mark 4:15

Is it possible the Word of God was removed from their hearts leaving only the memories of words in their brains?

"And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful." Mark 4:19

That sounds to me like the memory of what Jesus had said [the Word of God] could remain, but due to the cares of other things, the Life of what He had said left them. They only had some dead, perhaps even memorized, remnants. Similar to what the devil had here:

"And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone." Matt 4:6

So then what has happened here?

"Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away." Mark 13:31

The words of Jesus spoken surely are the Living Word of God... but what the devil had and what those who heard Jesus speak on the mount, if it did have Life at one time, lost the Life because they put others things first above seeking the Kingdom of God and the righteousness of God.

This is a slightly different subject.

God and numbers, often mean more than you think, Noah 40 days 40 nights in the ark, Moses 40 years in the desert, Jesus 40 days in the desert, teh israelites wandered 40 years in the desert, dont put it off so lightly.

I dont believe that, the only men God ever revealed his secrets to were prophets for them having recieved a personal revelation from God is what makes them prophets in the first place..no one can receive anything unless it was given from above and i dont know anyone who can be so close to God to receive personal revelations....thats crazy...the Lord doesnt reveal his purpose to mankind..cause most of mankind cant be trusted etc...and the Lord wont wont let no one do harm to his people
