Act 17:26 And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;
Act 17:27 That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us:
Act 17:28 For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.

Jesus the same today yesterday and forever

Mat_28:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Mat 11:29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
Mat 11:30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

but whos listening

Joh_7:38 He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.

Amen

Yes, men are told to seek God and they can find Him (Deuteronomy 4:29). Men are commanded to seek the Lord (Isaiah 55:6), seek the kingdom of God (Matthew 6:33).

Men have sought the Lord (2 Chronicles 14:7; 2 Chronicles 15:4; Psalms 34:4; Psalms 77:2)

How do some reconcile this with Romans 3:11 "... there is none that seeketh after God."

As with all biblical polarities....this statement is to be weighed with other scriptures. As such, it simply means that no one seeks hard after God without help or inspiration. People do end up seeking God...or else the biblical admonition would be pointless. So then the first time we find God is a surprise. But after that the seeking is up to us.

There are other such statements throughout the bible that take one side of a dialectic...whom unlearned men ignore the balance of.

Such statements as..."there are no righteous"...(when in fact God says there are quite a few). There are none as righteous as God.

"Without Me you can do nothing" (Yet people can't stop doing things). There are none as powerful as God.
