Your thinking is whats wrong.

He returns to save national Israel and set up an earthly kingdom from Jerusalem for 1000 years, finalizing the promises to the fathers.

There will be a pre trib rapture of the living and dead saints, an awful false christ preceding the true Christ.been longing for since the fall

The true Christ shall destroy the false Christ and bring the utopia that man has been looking for since the fall in the garden.

The saints shall return with Him to set all this up.....

4 And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.

5 And ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the Lord my God shall come, and all the saints with thee.

Then this will happen....

6 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the light shall not be clear, nor dark:

7 But it shall be one day which shall be known to the Lord, not day, nor night: but it shall come to pass, that at evening time it shall be light.

8 And it shall be in that day, that living waters shall go out from Jerusalem; half of them toward the former sea, and half of them toward the hinder sea: in summer and in winter shall it be.

9 And the Lord shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one Lord, and his name one.

Count on it!
You have been sucking their religious swamp water far too long. The Living waters went out from Jerusalem 2000 years ago on the Day of Pentecost

Okay, here is a passage that refers to the Millennial reign in Psalm 2....

8 Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.

9 Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel.

10 Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth.

11 Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice with trembling.

12 Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.

It is Jesus taking over the earth and the governing powers(heathen) told to submit to him during His reign.

I think this is just fascinating.

This is a divine warning to the former world governing powers as he takes over.

Don’t hear “Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron;” as evil but good.
Revelation 2:27 And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father.

Even as I received of my Father. —who is talking there? Was this done from a literal throne?

Hebrews 5:8-9 Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered; [9] And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him; (Hebrews 12:6-11) ...even as I received of my Father.

Literal thrones with men ruling on them ...are these Spirit or Flesh? If Spirit (because I don’t know what you believe.) if one can’t by the Spirit of God rule over their flesh now ...then why would it be any different if given a throne?

Is Jesus Himself literally 'water' to drink? No, of course not

He is calling Himself Spirit...the Spirit of God and God’s righteousness which one drinks of and they will never thirst after righteousness again being filled with Philippians 1:11 Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God.

Matthew 5:6 Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.

Never thirst= Living water= the River of Life= The River of God= pure= The righteousness of God=His words; they are Spirit, they are Life. In seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you.

can even go further where Christ tells you where He came from. John 16:27-28 For the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God. [28] I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world: again, I leave the world, and go to the Father.

Revelation 22:1-2 And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb. [2] In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.

Pure river of the water of Life (and He said “I am the Living Water”: notice He goes in to the tree if Life which bears “fruits” for the healing of the nations? Only One I know of “heals” and that is the Spiritual fruit of the Spirit of God. It is all through His word or is fruit of the Spirit another metaphor. That is the fruit we are told to eat of and be content which is great gain. John 15:8 Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.

False is telling people they are going to eat literal fruit and drink literal water instead of His Spirit in a place with literal trees.(Isaiah 61:3)To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified.

GuessIng at which fruits we will be eating instead of the fruits of the righteousness of the Spirit of God, when He Himself said John 6:27 Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed.

Sealed with what?

Post II.

So for two days/2,000 years we’re in restoring, refreshing and preserving. (the bride is readied). now lets back this up.
Acts 3:19 "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;

refreshing: G403 ἀνάψυξις anapsuxis (an-aps'-ook-sis) n.
1. (properly) a recovery of breath
2. (figuratively) revival
[from G404]
KJV: revival
Root(s): G404

definition #1. a recovery of breath. once alive now dead, one need to be “Born again”. hence the recovery of breath, the coming of the Holy Spirit. understand now? this recovery of BREATH happen on the day of Pentecost, the “Breath”, or the Spirit is the source of LIFE. so from these verses the refreshing, or the recovery of LIFE is in the Spirit. and that word “presence”, in Acts 3:19 is G4383 πρόσωπον prosopon. It denotes any kind of refreshment as rest, or deliverance from evils of any kind. Supportive scripture, Colossians 1:13 "Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son”.
what do the model pray say? Matthew 6:13 "And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen". BINGO.

FROM, these two scriptures, Hosea 6:2, and, Acts 3:19 one can see the Reign of Christ Jesus, and his reign in the Millennium. within these times Reigning or ruling there are what we call “ages”. there are many ages, here the CHURCH "AGE". some are pasted and some are now, and some to come.

but there is one more piece to Hosea 6:2. listen, Hosea 6:2 "After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight”. now the core belief of Christianity. Mark 9:31 "For he taught his disciples, and said unto them, The Son of man is delivered into the hands of men, and they shall kill him; and after that he is killed, he shall rise the third day". yes, the third DAY, what did Hosea 6:2b say, "in the third day he will raise us up". my God how easy is it to understand.

did one see that? in the THIRD "DAY". well according to God counting of "DAY(S)" here the third DAY starts in 2034 .... well, well, well. 2033 ends the second day which is only 13 years away. and Hosea 6:2 said in the THIRD DAY, he , he, he, the Lord JESUS will raise us up the third DAY.. and this raising up happens at 1 Thessalonians 4:16 "For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first". this is the FIRST RESURRECTION. and there are only two resurrections. listen,

Revelation 20:4 "And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

Revelation 20:5 "But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.

Revelation 20:6 "Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years".

NOW the million dollar question is, "WHEN in or after 2034 do this first resurrection occur?" well the answer ... NO MAN KNOWS. neither the hour or the day. but can we speculate? yes, but ONLY speculate, for I will not or never set any date as to when the Lord will return. I will only speak what he says. so in the third day he will raise us up. now speculation, ONLY, speculation.
speculation #1. he rose "EARLY" the third day....

speculation #2. thes day will be shorten, why? Matthew 24:20 "But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:
Matthew 24:21 "For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
Matthew 24:22 "And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.

that's about as far as I'm going to go on speculation. but one thing is true here in Matthew 24:22. there will be no per-tribulation rapture, for the elect will go throught it, hence the reason why the days will be shorten.

see how the bible cast out darkness. so that per-tribulation rapture lie is exposed.

Now for clarity, one might wnat to re-read or copy this post for future reference.

but Hosea 6:2 just open the door to this Revelation. as said let the bible interpret itself.

Hoped this helped, remember Earburner copy both and put them together as one post.

First off, i want to thank you for your willingness to extend to me the knowledge that you have gained for your understanding.
Second, I do understand your point of view and how you arrived there.

Unfortunately, I am not sold on it, and here is why.
You quoted: "OT, Hosea 6:2 "After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight”.

Now, from my perspective, I see Hosea 6:2 fulfilled in the very day that Jesus resurrected, and is being fulfilled in every Born Again Christian thereafter.

Therefore, by His resurrection, who is the First resurrection, through faith in Him, I am now spiritually risen with him, when I recieved the Gift of His Holy Spirit, but now waiting for the Day of His return, to be changed into the likeness of His Immortality.
Col. 3[1] If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.
[2] Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.
[3] For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.
[4] When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.

Eph. 2[4] But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,
[5] Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)
[6] And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

I am raised up in him, and I am living in His sight at this moment.

first thanks for your reply, ERROR. the Lord Jesus is the FIRSTFRUIT, then us at his coming, supportive scripture, 1 Corinthians 15:22 "For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
1 Corinthians 15:23 "But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming.
1 Corinthians 15:24 "Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.

now the "forever to be with him". 1 Thessalonians 4:14 "For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
1 Thessalonians 4:15 "For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
1 Thessalonians 4:16 "For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
1 Thessalonians 4:17 "Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
1 Thessalonians 4:18 "Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
I am raised up in him, and I am living in His sight at this moment.
if you're alive at his coming, you want need to be risen, but change. now if you're risen, do you need a change? yes. hence 1 Thessalonians 4.

And every one of those descriptions above are spiritual metaphors God's Word makes about Salvation through Him and His Son. It does not mean our Lord Jesus Christ is a literal well of water. Apostle John said God is a Spirit (John 4:24). That is not water, but He uses the idea of water in those Scriptures as a metaphor for His Eternal Salvation, particularly the 'eternal' sense.

But the following Revelation 22:1-2 description is a LITERAL description of a real River that will exist literally... in the world to come:

Revelation 22:1-2
And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.
2 In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.

That is the fruit we are told to eat of and be content which is great gain. John 15:8 Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.

You might study the Old Testament prophet Isaiah if you haven't yet. You will find there literal references to the future new heavens and a new earth involving our future existence. His Salvation involves the earth, and even says we will plant vineyards and reap the harvest thereof, etc. Like Isaiah said in Isaiah 45, God created this earth to be inhabited, and it will be.

But you sound like what you've been taught instead, is some spiritualistic mumbo jumbo idea of salvation up in the clouds without an earth, and without anything literal dealing with God's creation of a physical world. That kind of thinking is more akin to New Age doctrines than what is written in God's Holy Writ.

can say I still don’t expect literal thrones. No more than a literal rod. Revelation 2:27 And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father.

But if you are willingly to take the time to give something from scripture you want to show, then I’m willing to read it. Can’t say I’ll agree but it is always good to get another perspective. Way off topic though ...

It does not mean our Lord Jesus Christ is a literal well of water.

didn’t say He is a literal well. Unless I’m misunderstanding you, your the one saying the water He is speaking of is literal. Hence coming from a literal future River. So we agree..He meant it Spiritually.

But the following Revelation 22:1-2 description is a LITERAL description of a real River that will exist literally... in the world to come:

The tree of Life bears fruits. So does the Spirit.
Galatians 5:22-23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, [23] Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

Ephesians 5:9 (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth

Life. James 5:6-7 Ye have condemned and killed the just; and he doth not resist you. [7] Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain.

“His Salvation involves the earth.” Of course it does...very much so.

And you'll know that as an adventist I was always going to offer something different...
Revelation 11 Commentary
The above commentary must be seen in perspective as a chronological piece around the turn of the 18th century... The end of the 1260 years of papal supremacy in Europe, and the total rejection of God in the French revolution... The destruction of all Christian literature and the burning of Bibles and subsequent establishment of atheism and secular humanism as an official government sponsored belief system developing into communism, and the resulting persecution against God's people.
@Heart2Soul
I would like to add to the above.
I speak from the historicist hermeneutic...Revelation 11 is another example of apocalyptic prophecy which is a preview of history from the time the project is first given. So from John's perspective, he sees 3 principle elements. And all are a repeat of prophecy given previously in Daniel. Daniel 7 reveals in secular language and symbolism the future of nations and empires right up to the second coming. Daniel 8 reveals a portion of that same history but in spiritual language and symbolism from the sanctuary that reveals spiritual history. Daniel revealed in Daniel 8 the actions of a coming power that would grow...
KJV Daniel 8
10 And it waxed great, even to the host of heaven; and it cast down some of the host and of the stars to the ground, and stamped upon them.
11 Yea, he magnified himself even to the prince of the host, and by him the daily sscrifice was taken away, and the place of his sanctuary was cast down.
12 And an host was given him against the daily sacrifice by reason of transgression, and it cast down the truth to the ground; and it practised, and prospered.
13 Then I heard one saint speaking, and another saint said unto that certain saint which spake, How long shall be the vision concerning the daily sacrifice, and the transgression of desolation, to give both the sanctuary and the host to be trodden under foot?
14 And he said unto me, Unto two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed.

The significance of the 2300 days had been dealt with elsewhere much more competently than I, but I simply want to point out the parallels between Daniel 8 and revelation 11. The measuring of the temple came after a time when that temple was cast to the ground and trampled upon. When 1260 days, which are in reality 1260 years when the papacy cast down the truths of the sanctuary and set up a rival system. The sanctuary referred to is the one in heaven where Jesus is our high priest ministering as our sole Mediator. The papacy trample upon that truth, setting up not only its own system, but substituting the priest Himself... With Antichrist, which literally means substitute.
Revelation 11 also speaks of the measuring of a sanctuary...a spiritual sanctuary, which is the church. This is the time of the cleansing spoken of in Daniel 8, where the church is measured/judged, prepared for the second coming as a bride adormed for her Husband, for judgement must begin in the house of God. Keep in mind though that unlike many, we must differentiate between judgement, and the execution of sentence. Judgement comes before sentencing... And the second coming of Christ comes at the culmination of sentencing, hence the angels of the harvest know who are Christ's and who are not. Judgement had already taken place... The sheep and the goats have already been divided. The church is being judged as we write on this forum. Now is the time for the cleansing of our lives/temples that the holy Spirit may dwell within. Cast out the idols. Follow the HIGH PRIEST as He ministers in the most holy place before the throne of God. The type of the day of atonement is being fulfilled in antitype by Christ... When He leaves the heavenly sanctuary returns here for His people... Those who have not been cut off from the household if faith... Whose names remain on the book of life.

KJV Leviticus 23
27 Also on the tenth day of this seventh month there shall be a day of atonement: it shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall afflict your souls, and offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD.
28 And ye shall do no work in that same day: for it is a day of atonement, to make an atonement for you before the LORD your God.
29 For whatsoever soul it be that shall not be afflicted in that same day, he shall be cut off from among his people.
30 And whatsoever soul it be that doeth any work in that same day, the same soul will I destroy from among his people.
31 Ye shall do no manner of work: it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations in all your dwellings.
32 It shall be unto you a sabbath of rest, and ye shall afflict your souls: in the ninth day of the month at even, from even unto even, shall ye celebrate your sabbath.

Not doing work when facing judgement is righteousness by faith through grace.

KJV Daniel 7
21 I beheld, and the same horn made war with the saints, and prevailed against them;
22 Until the Ancient of days came, and judgment was given to the saints of the most High; and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom.

21 I beheld, and the same horn made war with the saints, and prevailed against them;
22 Until the Ancient of days came, and judgment was given to the saints of the most High; and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom.
That took me 30 minutes to read and reread...lol...still meditating on it.:)

the place of his sanctuary was cast down.

John 14:1-4 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. [2] In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. [3] And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. [4] And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.

John 4:23-26 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. [24] God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. [25] The woman saith unto him, I know that Messias cometh, which is called Christ: when he is come, he will tell us all things. [26] Jesus saith unto her, I that speak unto thee am he.

Philippians 3:3 For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh.

Hebrews 11:16 But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city.

Daniel 7 reveals in secular language and symbolism the future of nations and empires right up to the second coming

no place was found anymore for them...or for Him. John 8:23 And he said unto them, Ye are from beneath; I am from above: ye are of this world; I am not of this world.

I go to prepare a place for you.” But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.

“in secular language”

Zephaniah 3:9 For then will I turn to the people a pure language, that they may all call upon the name of the Lord, to serve him with one consent.

In conjunction with what I have mentioned above as a brief overview, I suggest a more comprehensive study of the adventist briefs regarding the sanctuary and the antitypical day of atonement which began in 1844... The culmination of the 2300 days/years of Daniel 8:27. Into 2300 days then shall the sanctuary be cleansed. Find out which sanctuary and what cleaning is needed in the sanctuary, and what it means to God's people. The original day of atonement and the work of the High Priest in the most holy place was a work of cleansing. See 1844madesimple - Home

You are not hearing what I said or quoted!
I said:
Therefore, by His resurrection, who is the First resurrection, through faith in Him, I am now spiritually risen with him, when I recieved the Gift of His Holy Spirit, but now waiting for the Day of His return, to be changed into the likeness of His Immortality.
GINOLJC, to all
First thanks for your reply. This was my point rising in him is not resurrected by him, these are two horses of another color. but what you're refering to is being born again, on Pentecost they was created new Spiritually new/Born again, but what I'm speaking of has not yet happen. the redemption of this body. so seeing what you said, how can Pentecost be the start of the Millennium when the first Resurrection bring in the Millennium, do you see it now? you cain't have a Millennium until you have the first resurrection. and the first resurrection has not happen yet. well if it did them we're all doomed then. for there are only two resurrection and if we have missed the first, then you know what happens in the second one.

see here's the problem. 1 Corinthians 15:21 "For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.
Question, "How did Adam die as what the apostle is speaking about here?". answer, Spiritual Death, and now man must be resurrectes, or MADE "alive", which is what we call being "BORN AGAIN", or REGENERATED.
1 Corinthians 15:22 "For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. BINGO THERE IT IS (so all in, in, in, Adam, in their order..... DIED, so all in, in, in, Christ we're made Alive, which is the refreshing, or the regenerating or the NEW BIRTH in their order. we pointed this out in Acts 3:19 "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord". and the "REFRESHING" is the recovery of breath. meaning the BREATH of God that makes one Spiritually alive. or BORN AGAIN), which the Spirit do. it is the Spirit that Gives the NEW BIRTH).
1 Corinthians 15:23 "But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming".

here in 1 Corinthians 15:23, "EVERY MAN IN HIS OWN ORDER". so what's the ORDER? let the bible answer it, "Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming". BINGO, AFTERWARD AT HIS COMING. now did the Lord Jesus come on Pentecost? YES, so when one recieve Christ as their Lord and saviour, and confess with their mouth amd believe in their heart THAT GOD RAISED HE FROM THE DEAD they shell be saved. they recieved the promise, (the Holy Ghost), this is called being "BORN AGAIN". yes being "BORN AGAIN", or from above, and this resurrection of the spirit started at Pentecost, but to enter into the Millennia reign one must have the new body to go with the NEW SPIRIT. and now we need a "RESURRECTION" of the Body, and that's where many make their mistake at on the Millennium Reign.

here is what I'm speaking of, "Bodily Resurrection" and it will not happent untill he, (JESUS) returns in bodly form, that's why I teach a two fold return. First in Spirit, (spiritual resurrection), and then in a Glorified BODY where all eyes will see him. when he comes then as according to Revelation 1:7 now our bodies are redeemed. scripture, Romans 8:23 "And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body". BINGO. see we're redeemed "Spiritually" first, and that started at pentecost, and when he returns in his body, we also will be like him in our NEW BODIES. if dead RISEN, if alive at the time of his coming quicken or change.

hoped this helped.

@Heart2Soul

Literally an SDA doctrinal interpretation, filtered through the mandatory keeping of Saturday as the sabbath, according to the Jewish Torah (Law).

The prophetic time line, as shown in Daniel 7 and 8, was completely fulfilled by Antiochus Epiphanes the IV and Judas Maccabeus. The full account of it is found in the Jew's historical record of 1&2 Maccabees.

As for Revelation 11, there is no parallel to Daniel 8, nor can it be used as type and anti type.
There is no "little horn" in Revelation, nor is there one now, or one to come.
Daniel was written for the first appearance of Jesus, and Revelation is written for His Glorious return.

IOWs, the book of Daniel was for the Jews, as Revelation is for this Church Age.

We all understand the born again experience by His Holy Spirit, as being "risen with Christ" spiritually!!

We all understand also, that those of us who are born again, we are now made to be ready for Christ's Glorious and Fiery return, to destroy all the wicked, and at the same time, immediately resurrect/change us into His likeness, the likeness of a body of His Immortality. There is no problem with that!!
But here IS THE problem:
You, and many here, have "swallowed the camel" that there will be "THE Millennium", right after we are resurrected/changed.

You are not getting it!!
There will be NO escapees of the wicked!
Therefore there will be no re-populating this old earth!!
2 Thessalonians 1[7] And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,
[8] In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:
[9] Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;

[10] When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day.

YES, there is a problem, as you pointed out, so will I. Revelation 22:14 "Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. (Hmmmmmmmm.... :) )

Revelation 22:15 "For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie". (WAITE, HOLD THE PRESS. outside of the city are these? but wouldn't they have been burn up in the fiery wrath? ........... or do the "WRATH" comes later at judgment. oh well......

I would say more, but we'll let Earburner response first.

Goodnight,

Been there! You are "mixing apples with oranges".
When the NC was ratified by the shed blood of Jesus Christ, the OC was fulfilled/completed and became dysfunctional!
When Jesus told the Jews that the KoG was being taken away from them, all the promises that He made to them, except one, became null and void, as in dysfunctional.
That one promise left to them, is to believe in Jesus. If they can't obey that, then they are completely out of promises, and "are without God in the world, having no hope". Why?
To deny Jesus is to deny the Father! You can't have one without the other. And as you know, "God is no respecter of persons", Jew or Gentile!

1 John 2[22] Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.

Good morning 101G, and all!
Yes! More synonymous metaphors and symbolism.
But lets go back to Rev. 21 first, and discover which city is being talked about and when, after Jesus will have Gloriously returned in flaming fire.
A. When:
Rev. 21[1] And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

B. Which Jerusalem:
[2] And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

A. 2 Thessalonians 1:8
2 Peter 3:10-13
B. The city is Heavenly Jerusalem, coming down in the NEW earth, aka the resurrected and glorified people of God, through faith in Jesus.

I bet you thought that the city of Heavenly Jerusalem consisted of literal buildings to live in.

Still left out the “when the son of man comes will he find faith on the earth.” Please tell me you don’t only answer questions you want to answer? You said “which Jerusalem”. Asking “which earth”? One “therein dwells righteousness” and is made New, the other passing away...which Jerusalem’s Faith? Which earth’s Faith?

2 Peter 3:10-13
B. The city is Heavenly Jerusalem, coming down in the NEW earth
asking to understand your statement of when no one has any more faith to believe. When the word says “you can do nothing without God.”
