AMEN to that!

My only encounter with Foursquare was in the creme de la creme, The Church On The Way, Dr. Jack Hayford's church where I was a member and served at for decades from the early 70's. It is still one of my favorite churches of all time, and Pastor Jack is my spiritual father. When I married in the 90's, my husband liked the Vineyard, where years ago I had also visited at a 4 pm service on Sunday's close to the COTW, waiting for the evening service at my church. This was the early years of the Vineyard, late 70's. We went to another Vineyard by that time in Reseda, headed by Bill Dwyer before we moved to the mountains of Arizona, where we chose an AOG. Unless you were Mormon, there was not a lot to choose from, but this AOG was a good one. Now 20 years later, the AOG here in Tennessee is questionable. It isn't any different than any other Protestant church where the Spirit is not welcome.

There you have it again, the LORD GOD no longer is the LORD GOD of his People, THOSE WHOM HE SAVED FROM THEIR OWN EMOLUMENT. <<God never made that covanent with us>>.. you, your bad. God however made His Only EVERLASTING Covenant with HIS PEOPLE, exclusively, OF GRACE, NEW, IN JESUS CHRIST. Hence, the Sabbath of the LORD for a sign of HIS LORDSHIP which, as his People, as He, never changes, never lies, never betrays, never forsakes, never gives up, BUT ACCOMPLISH. For God is the Omnicompetent, the Omnificent, the Omniscient, the Omnipotent, the Omnipresent in heaven and on earth and in TIME : THE SAME, THE ONLY, "I-AM-WHO-I-AM". <<God never made that covenant with us.>> You say it; you're finished; you finished yourself off. But you cannot drag me into hell with you, "For GOD thus concerning the Seventh Day COVENANTED BY THE SON : IF JESUS GAVE THEM REST, THEREFORE, FEAST-OF-SABBATH FOR THE PEOPLE OF GOD FOREVERMORE REMAINS!"
Yep we rest in Christ, by all your posts, you obviously are not resting at all.

God bless

John

Q: again no googling. Unlike Ananias and Sapphira, who actually sold their property and gave the entire amount to the disciples?

If someone claims they know, I suspect they will lie about other things, too.

Why? Don't you know the players in important events?

Q: Same night - who cut off someone's ear with a sword?
Q: Same night - who betrayed Jesus?

Circumcision was the SIGN of the covenant between God and Abraham, and had to do with the Seed that would come as the Messiah through him.
That is what I said.

Martin Marprelate said:
From the descendants of Abraham, the Messiah would be born, but it did not follow that any particular descendant should be an ancestor of Christ.

That's not true. It was specifically Isaac, and not Ishmael that would be the line to the Messiah.
That is correct. Sorry! I meant to write that it did not follow that any particular Israelite should be an ancestor of the Messiah. Any individual Israelite might be childless.
My point was that the Abrahamic Covenant is never described as applying to anyone else except Abraham, Isaac (Genesis 26:1-5) and Jacob (Genesis 28:13-15). No one is ever described as being under the Abrahamic covenant. That covenant is a covenant of promise (Ephesians 2:12; cf. Romans 4:13; Galatians 3:16; 4:28 etc.).

Although some want to say the naked runner had to be Mark, because of his young age, we have no idea if another young boy might have also been there.

Somehow the Jews knew that King David would be in the line.

Thats of course assuming there was no one else there, Ive always wondered why it was even mentioned... seemed no more than a distraction.

In one of the gospels it says that Jesus brought Peter, James and John with Him. Peter was not a young boy, and James was older than John, so that leaves John, the Beloved. He would have been close enough for them to grab, at least, his cloth.

But what it does not say, is that there may have being others following Him. Seems there always was. If people knew what was going to happen., like most people who love a confrontation, would have probably being a crowd there, so as I said its all assumption, and brings nothing to mens salvation.
