I broke 2 or 3 commandments tonight! It sickens me to no end. Disobedience to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ sickens me! Wish I could have 2 minutes away from my flesh! I can see the evil one coming 100 miles away and I do not have the strength to fight him (when i'm tired, like tonight)! But I will not let my SIN take me away from our Lord Jesus Christ! Period. Time to Armor Up! Ephesians 6:13.

I please ask for only those who have not sinned in the past week to pray for me. I guess that rules out everybody! Love You All! Geeez, pray the Lords Prayer, ask for forgiveness and then pray for me! I need it! o_O

Hello, if you wouldn’t mind me saying a few words....

It’s a good thing you can see your flesh coming a mile away, that means the Spirit is quickening your heart to sin. This is a step in the right direction...The next would be seeing how utterly hopeless you are to overcome your flesh. Once this is seen and than the next step is to see that only your death will free you from yourself..Than the next step is to see that this is what Christ accomplished for you on the cross. He took you to death with Him when He died on the cross for you...It is by faith do we make this truth real in our lives...We are told to reckon ourselves dead to sin. This reckoning is a moment by moment reckoning as we go through our day. For the just shall live by faith. It is having faith in what Christ said He accomplished on the cross for us that sets a person free from themselves for we are our own worst enemy and it is us we need to be freed from. You are in a good spot don’t lose heart keep pressing into God from freedom from sin and walking into newness of life is for all believers..This is all accomplished by the faith of the heart turned toward Him every moment of the day. A constant reckoning oneself dead to sin and alive unto God. For all things come from God through the faith of the heart turned towards Him.

Also no person has not sinned in the last week in one form or another, for self is sin. Living out from self itself is sin. So a total and complete dead to self is necessary, this is made real line upon line, here a little there a little, as the heart embraces it’s death in Christ. For as scripture says “he that has died is freed from sin”. It is to the degree one sees and embraces by faith their death in Christ, to that degree will they be made free from self and sin and begin to walk in newness of life.,

Be blessed as you go to God and ask about these things.

Thank You so much for your kind words Not Me! I really needed to hear them. I agree with everything you said, and I heed your words just the same. Sin has consequences in this life, not the next (for believers). However, I always worry that my sins in this life will hurt someone. Always my biggest fear, because all sins lead to death. :(

Be blessed as you pursue Him in all you do. Above all keep that heart that is soft and open before Him... For getting to know Him personally is that that will answer all the questions of your heart. Don’t lose heart or shrink back for only blessings await those that will never stop, asking, seeking, knocking.

Be blessed my fellow servant of His, Not me

It's good that you've asked for prayer, and I will pray for you!

What "Not me" said about reckoning ourselves dead to sin is so important. I believe that, like Paul, we have been crucified with Christ because death is the only solution for the sin nature. I would only add this:

Galatians 5:16-26
I say then, walk by the Spirit and you will not carry out the desire of the flesh. For the flesh desires what is against the Spirit, and the Spirit desires what is against the flesh; these are opposed to each other, so that you don’t do what you want. But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.

Now the works of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, moral impurity, promiscuity, idolatry, sorcery, hatreds, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, selfish ambitions, dissensions, factions, envy, drunkenness, carousing, and anything similar. I tell you about these things in advance — as I told you before — that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, self-control. Against such things there is no law. Now those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. Since we live by the Spirit, we must also follow the Spirit. We must not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another.

Addressing the OP only. first, don't take this as an offesense, or an attack personally. "PRAY FOR YOURSELF". scripture, 1 John 1:9 "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness". so, as you're in the habit of sinning on your own, get in the habit of praying for yourself. this build "FAITH" not to sin. for if I show a man how to fish, then I don't have to fish for him. he can stand on his own.

just some tough LOVE.

Yea, I never ask prayer for myself. It's a rare occasion if I do and this was one of them. It's always just Jesus and I. Thanks
