first thanks for your quick simple view of the text. but I'm having a little bit of trouble in following you event line. for example,

if the church is raptured, are you saying

who are the angels gatherning? because

that's why I asked who's left to gather? any that's are God's.

PICJAG.
I believe that there will be a process of working through the population, and that those who evade the image of the beast, though they cannot buy or sell, who are left alive when Jesus returns are those who will be gathered up.

I believe Jesus will return to put an end to Satan's/the beast's massacre of humanity, and especially the Jews, before he can finish his work. Lest no flesh survive . . .

While this is only my speculation, I think that the two witnesses will be prophesying not only of Jesus, and of the beast, but also of Israel, and God's choosing this nation, Jesus' brothers, the Jews. The beast will persecute. Who will stand with them?

Matthew 10 gives a good pre-history of persecutions until the end of the age, beginning with the Apostolic Era, through to the great tribulation, the overwhelming scourge of terror and death.

The final decision . . . worship the image or die. If you evade the image, and manage to survive, will you in faith share with God's chosen nation, though you may share their persecution? Choose today whom you will serve. Except it really will be "today". Final answer. One way or another. And that answer will have to be by faith.

But again, by this time, angels will be flying through the skies proclaiming the Gospel, and warning of the beast.

Much love!

Ezekiel 22:18,20 KJV
[18] Son of man, the house of Israel is to me become dross: all they are brass, and tin, and iron, and lead, in the midst of the furnace; they are even the dross of silver. [20] As they gather silver, and brass, and iron, and lead, and tin, into the midst of the furnace, to blow the fire upon it, to melt it ; so will I gather you in mine anger and in my fury, and I will leave you there, and melt you.

I was reading this earlier today and it’s fascinating that Jesus’s says most of this verbatim to Israel during His ministry.

28 He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up?
29 But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them.
30 Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.

They are rooted up together. The wicked are collected together and sent off to judgment. The righteous remain, and enter into God's Kingdom.

We still can't get around the statement that the TARES are going to be gathered FIRST.... before any gathering (rapture?) of the wheat (believers). But, that isn't what I hear when I hear people speaking of the "rapture." I hear people saying the believing wheat will be gathered first, and the unbelieving tares will be left behind to face a tribulation of some kind.

Oh, you relate that parable to the church? And the rapture of the church? I don't believe that Jesus prophesied specifically of the church, as the kingdom was at the time being offered to the Jews.

Otherwise it would be like Jesus saying, the Kingdom of God is at hand, but not really, cuz actually I'm going to take it back due to your soon to be unbelief, and give it directly to the gentiles first.

That seems to me to be disengenuous of God. Also it seems to introduce all sorts of confusion in people trying to find themselves in the Bible, in this case, find the post-Israel/gentile church in Matthew.

Acts 13:44 "And the next sabbath day came almost the whole city together to hear the word of God.

Acts 13:45 "But when the Jews saw the multitudes, they were filled with envy, and spake against those things which were spoken by Paul, contradicting and blaspheming.

Acts 13:46 "Then Paul and Barnabas waxed bold, and said, It was necessary that the word of God should first have been spoken to you: but seeing ye put it from you, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, lo, we turn to the Gentiles".

you're correct, by what you said, I'm going to be working on something. Jew an Individual vs Jew(S) in salvation.

It maybe nothing, but I believe worth looking into.

Um, no.

I don't think that when Jesus was prophesying the end of the age, I don't think that was the end of the church age, as it were.

Maybe this will help . . .

The last days . . . in Hebrews, these last days, the last days of the old covenant.
The last days . . . in Paul's letters, the last days of the church.
The end of the age . . . in Matthew, concerning Israel.

Had the end of the age in Matthew been describing the removal and transformation of the gentile church apart from Israel in national salvation, then it's just like God saying, OK, here, I want to give you your kingdom as promise, if fact, I'm sending it to you now, But the reality is, I've already arranged to give it to someone else for now, so, like, nevermind.

I think that when God set Adam in the garden and told him not to eat from that tree, that God wanted man to not eat from that tree, and had already included the tree of life in God's intent for man. There is nothing disengenuous about God. If He says, Now is the time for the kingdom to come to you, He's not saying out of the other side of His mouth something different.

After Israel give final rejection of the New Covenant, God gave more revelation and more prophecy of what would happen concerning this gentile church, a mystery up until then.

In saying a mystery, musterion, this is saying something unknowable except by revelation. As Paul reveals the mystery of the gentile church, this tells us it has not been revealed before, including in Jesus' prophecies. Jesus' prophecies concerned Israel, and the end of the age concerned Israel.

Anyway, that's how I see it.

Much love!

They tried to take Him as their King several times. Take a guess at how many Jews were converted during the early church era.

I don't think so, there is no Gentile church, christ body is made up of Jew and gentile. Colossians 3:11 "Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all".

Ephesians 2:11 "Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands;

Ephesians 2:12 "That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:

Ephesians 2:13 "But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.

Ephesians 2:14 "For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;

Ephesians 2:15 "Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;

Ephesians 2:16 "And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:

Ephesians 2:17 "And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh.

where is this coming from that the church of God and the nation of Israel is some how a separate enity?

how is Israel different from anyone else? Acts 17:26 "And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation". is God a respect of Person?

the Jews as well as the Gentiles must come to God by FAITH.

GINOLJC, to all.

Today we would like to zero in on the Four Beast/living creatures in particular. In Revelation 4:7, it gave the description of theses four beast, and there have been many different interpertation of who and what these beast/living creatures are. we would like to put an end to this mystery. in Revelation 4:7 it gives the description of these four beast/living creatures, "And the first beast was like a lion, and the second beast like a calf, and the third beast had a face as a man, and the fourth beast was like a flying eagle”. as said these beast/living creatures line up with the four horseman riders in chapter 6, which are the four Judgments of God. We will skip to chapter 6 as to clearly see these judgment, and we’ll come back to chapter 4 afterward and finish up. If that’s ok, with those who are following the topic. I would like to clear up any misconception as to who and what these four beast/living are.

I will give each Judgment in a separate post, for the revelation require a good definition of each judgment.

lFirst, Let’s get the background to these four Judgments to verify our discussion of these four beast/living creatures, The book of,

Ezekiel 14:21 "For thus saith the Lord GOD; How much more when I send my four sore judgments upon Jerusalem, the sword, and the famine, and the noisome beast, and the pestilence, to cut off from it man and beast?”

we see the same four judgment here in Revelation chapter 6. they are connect to the four beasts who reveal them to us by the Lord Jesus in opening the seals for our understanding. Listen closely and lets line up the Judgments with the beast/living creatures, and the four horseman.

In Ezekiel 14:21 God give 4 judgments,
1.the sword, Revelation chapter 6, the Red horse rider. The beast/living creature, the Calf/Oxen, chapter 4
2.the famine, Revelation chapter 6, the Black horse rider. The beast/living creature, the Man, Chapter 4
3.the noisome beast, Revelation chapter 5, the White horse rider. The beast/living creature, the lion, chapter 4
4.the pestilence, Revelation chapter 6, the Pale horse rider. The beast/living creature, the flying eagle, chapter 4

Now we can see all four beast/living creatures in relation to each of the four Judgment.

In Revelation, John wrote of 4 horsemen, which clearly identifies with Ezekiel 14:21 Judgments. Let’s look at theses four Judgments/horsemen in much more detail to grasp the understanding of their "works". These first four judgments are directed at Jerusalem, so can these four Judgment in the book of revelation be directed at the some of the seven churches in chapter 2 & 3? I’m not saying either way, but what the word reveals let it reveal it. Now lets go back to the book of Ezekiel and get a good look at these four Judgments.

The book of Ezekiel gives us the answers to the four beasts

Ezekiel 14:21 "For thus saith the Lord GOD; How much more when I send my four sore judgments upon Jerusalem, the sword, and the famine, and the noisome beast, and the pestilence, to cut off from it man and beast?
Ezekiel 14:22 "Yet, behold, therein shall be left a remnant that shall be brought forth, both sons and daughters: behold, they shall come forth unto you, and ye shall see their way and their doings: and ye shall be comforted concerning the evil that I have brought upon Jerusalem, even concerning all that I have brought upon it.
Ezekiel 14:23 "And they shall comfort you, when ye see their ways and their doings: and ye shall know that I have not done without cause all that I have done in it, saith the Lord GOD.

yes, God use evil, to accomplish his cause in respond to certian conditions.

THE FAMINE: the third horseman, revealed by the third beast, the “face of the man”, the black horse rider.
Ezekiel 14:12-14 "The word of the LORD came again to me, saying, verse 13 "Son of man, when the land sinneth against me by trespassing grievously, then will I stretch out mine hand upon it, and will break the staff of the bread thereof, and will send famine upon it, and will cut off man and beast from it: verse 14 "Though these three men, Noah, Daniel, and Job, were in it, they should deliver but their own souls by their righteousness, saith the Lord GOD. (one might want to read that again).

THE NOISOM BEAST: the first horseman, revealed by the first beast, the “face of the Lion”, the white horse rider.
Ezekiel 14:15 & 16 "If I cause noisome beasts to pass through the land, and they spoil it, so that it be desolate, that no man may pass through because of the beasts: verse 16 "Though these three men were in it, as I live, saith the Lord GOD, they shall deliver neither sons nor daughters; they only shall be delivered, but the land shall be desolate.

THE SWORD: the second horseman, revealed by the second beast, the “face of Calf/Oxen, the red horse rider.
Ezekiel 14:17 & 18 "Or if I bring a sword upon that land, and say, Sword, go through the land; so that I cut off man and beast from it: verse 18 "Though these three men were in it, as I live, saith the Lord GOD, they shall deliver neither sons nor daughters, but they only shall be delivered themselves.

THE PESTILENCE: the fourth horseman, revealed by the fourth beast, the “Face of a flying Eagle, the pale horse rider.
Ezekiel 14:19 & 20 "Or if I send a pestilence into that land, and pour out my fury upon it in blood, to cut off from it man and beast: verse 20 "Though Noah, Daniel, and Job, were in it, as I live, saith the Lord GOD, they shall deliver neither son nor daughter; they shall but deliver their own souls by their righteousness.

Revelation 6:1 "And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see.
One of the four beast that said come and see is the first horseman the noisome beast equivalent to the white horse rider, THE NOISOM BEAST, or the false messiah bring confusion, for noise produce confusion. The hebrew word for “noisome” is H7451 רַע ra` (rah), which means, bad, or evil. Vain babbling
And it’s root word is H7489 רָעַע ra`a` (raw-ah') v.
1. (properly) to spoil.
2. (literally) to ruin by breaking to pieces.
3. (causative) to make good for nothing.
4. (figuratively) to be good for nothing.
5. (physically, socially or morally) to be bad.

To make it simple to understand this first horse rider is a false preacher/teacher/prophet/pastor/bishop ect..., the anti Christ(s).
1 John 2:18 "Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that anti christ shall come, even now are there many Antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time”. our Lord Jesus said this, Matthew 24:4 "And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
Matthew 24:5 "For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many". here he comes in the next verse.

Revelation 6:2 "And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.
This whiter horse rider is a fake imitator of the true Christ. He is a deceiver, and a robber, he’s the false messiah. Noise bring CONFUSION, (and there is a lot of confusion today in the churches). A warning to one church, (see Chapter 2 & 3), was the church in Thyatira who had a false prophetess. Revelation 2:20 "Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols”. false teaching in church leads to, and breeds confusion. Just look at some of the confusion today. many still don’t believe a woman can preach, teach, and or pastor. There are some who don’t believe in water baptism, nor do some don't believe in hell. And the list go on and on, THAT'S CONFUSION. God is not the author of confusion. Scripture, 1 Corinthians 14:33 "For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints”. our brother Jude calls these Noise makers brute beasts. Jude 1:10 & 11 "But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core”. again another warning to the churches, the love of money, the error of Balaam. Scripture, Revelation 2:14 "But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumblingblock before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication”. this is what the white rider do seduce you from Christ. Supportive scripture, 2 Thessalonians 2:3 "Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition”. let’s see this lust of the natural things, or the doctrine of Balaam. Romans 16:17 & 18 "Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them. For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple”. Ephesians 5:6 "Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience”. so do our brother the apostle Peter. 2 Peter 2:10-22 "But chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise government. Presumptuous are they, selfwilled, they are not afraid to speak evil of dignities. Whereas angels, which are greater in power and might, bring not railing accusation against them before the Lord. But these, as natural brute beasts, made to be taken and destroyed, speak evil of the things that they understand not; and shall utterly perish in their own corruption; And shall receive the reward of unrighteousness, as they that count it pleasure to riot in the day time. Spots they are and blemishes, sporting themselves with their own deceivings while they feast with you; Having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin; beguiling unstable souls: an heart they have exercised with covetous practices; cursed children:
Which have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Bosor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness; But was rebuked for his iniquity: the dumb ass speaking with man's voice forbad the madness of the prophet. These are wells without water, clouds that are carried with a tempest; to whom the mist of darkness is reserved for ever. For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error. While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage. For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning. For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them. But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire”.

Now a breakdown of this rider, a. he have bow, this word bow is the Greek word,
G5115 τόξον toxon (to'-xon) n.
a bow (apparently as the simplest fabric).
[from the base of G5088]
KJV: bow
a bow, NOT WITH AN ARROW, as we see in pictures, no, a bow here means, (apparently as the simplest fabric). notice what it said, "apparently as the simplest fabric". other words a cheap outfit or a fake invitations, of the real. Also this rider had a crown. It is the Greek word, G4735 στέφανος stephanos, not what our Lord and Saviour wear in chapter 19, which is G1238 διάδημα diadema, which means the kingly ornament for the head, the crown. and he, the Lord Jesus wore many. But this rider here in chapter 6 is carrying another gospel. Sound like the real gospel, but….. Galatians 1:6-8 "I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed”. this rider make one loose their first Love,as was warn in one of the churches.

Conclusion: the white rider/Face like a Lion is a false messiah, the noisome beast, the Lion, a ROAING (noise) Lion seeking whom he may devour/conquer supporting scripture, 1 Peter 5:8 "Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour”. this lion is in opposition to the real Lion, the Lord Jesus out of the trib of Judah.
as our Lord said when he as he sat upon the mount of Olive, "Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many."

First rider down, next post the red horse rider, the Calf/Oxen.

Revelation 6:3 "And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and see.
Revelation 6:4 "And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.

The second horseman, the red horseman which is the Calf/Oxen symbolizing strength and POWER, a beast of burden. Red is a symbol for blood, which is the result of killing. this rider is given a sword to fight against the saints. This warfare against the church is not natural, or physical in nature. The power of the sword is in the strength of words. scripture, Ephesians 6:12 "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places”. now our brother James the apostle states this. James 4:1 "From whence come wars and fightings among you? come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members? (BINGO, read that again).
James 4:2 "Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not.
James 4:3 "Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.
James 4:4 "Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God." and the power of the sword as state is in the mouth of the false Christ. Scripture, 2 Thessalonians 2:9-11 "Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie”. the POWER/Calf/OXEN, the POWER of the TONGUE, listen, Proverbs 18:21 "Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof". that tonge is a POWERHOUSE, James 1:26 "If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain". our brother James also said,
James 3:5 "Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasteth great things. Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindleth!
James 3:6 "And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell.
James 3:7 "For every kind of beasts, and of birds, and of serpents, and of things in the sea, is tamed, and hath been tamed of mankind:
James 3:8 "But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison.

the power of the tongue starts wars, causes division in churches, ruin people lives, (false testomony), this beast is a killer.
again as our Lord sit upon the mount of Olive, he said this, Matthew 24:6 "And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet".

Conclusion to verses 3 & 4: the power, or the strength to persuade. The spiritual warfare in the churches today is strong, one must overcome by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; they loved not their lives unto the death, Rev 12:11. Love not the world, but one another.

the next rider, the black horse rider, the face like a man.

Revelation 6:5 "And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand.
Revelation 6:6 "And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine.

The third rider is the black rider, the face of a man, the famine of Ezekiel 14. again for the church? a famine of God word. Scripture, Amos 8:11 "Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD”. and this famine is another waring to the churches. Scripture, Revelation 3:17 "Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked” one can be physically rich, and yet spiritually poor at the same time. And the one who causes the spiritual famine is the man of sin. This is the black rider, the face of a man. darkness or black/night symbolizes sin. It is the MAN of SIN in 2 Thessalonians 2:3 & 4. listen to the scriptures. "Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God”. this man of sin is any man who teaches opposite of Christ. Who will cause many to be starving for the word of God. Scripture, again Amos 8:11 "Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD”. What did the writer of Hebrews say concering the hearing of Gods Holy Word? Hebrews 5:11 "Of whom we have many things to say, and hard to be uttered, seeing ye are dull of hearing.
Hebrews 5:12 "For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.
Hebrews 5:13 "For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.
Hebrews 5:14 "But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

again the apostle Paul, 2 Timothy 4:3 "For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
2 Timothy 4:4 "And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
2 Timothy 4:5 "But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.

Acts 28:24 "And some believed the things which were spoken, and some believed not.
Acts 28:25 "And when they agreed not among themselves, they departed, after that Paul had spoken one word, Well spake the Holy Ghost by Esaias the prophet unto our fathers,
Acts 28:26 "Saying, Go unto this people, and say, Hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and not perceive:
Acts 28:27 "For the heart of this people is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes have they closed; lest they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.
Acts 28:28 "Be it known therefore unto you, that the salvation of God is sent unto the Gentiles, and that they will hear it.
Acts 28:29 "And when he had said these words, the Jews departed, and had great reasoning among themselves.

this third horseman is the man of sin that starve the children of God for the word of God, the heavenly bread. The oil and wine is the stable diet of the children of God, that will not be hurt. The oil is the KNOWLEDGE of God, the Holy Spirit, the wine is the word, or UNDERSTANDING of God. The knowledge and understanding of God will go forth in Spirit and in Truth. And David said, Psalms 37:25 "I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread". When one do God word in Spirit and truth, God takes care of the both physically and Spiritually needs. Let’s see the physical side, his bread and oil will not cease, or fail. supportive scripture, 1 Kings 17:8 "And the word of the LORD came unto him, saying, Arise, get thee to Zarephath, which belongeth to Zidon, and dwell there: behold, I have commanded a widow woman there to sustain thee. So he arose and went to Zarephath. And when he came to the gate of the city, behold, the widow woman was there gathering of sticks: and he called to her, and said, Fetch me, I pray thee, a little water in a vessel, that I may drink. And as she was going to fetch it, he called to her, and said, Bring me, I pray thee, a morsel of bread in thine hand. And she said, As the LORD thy God liveth, I have not a cake, but an handful of meal in a barrel, and a little oil in a cruse: and, behold, I am gathering two sticks, that I may go in and dress it for me and my son, that we may eat it, and die And Elijah said unto her, Fear not; go and do as thou hast said: but make me thereof a little cake first, and bring it unto me, and after make for thee and for thy son. For thus saith the LORD God of Israel, The barrel of meal shall not waste, neither shall the cruse of oil fail, until the day that the LORD sendeth rain upon the earth. And she went and did according to the saying of Elijah: and she, and he, and her house, did eat many days. And the barrel of meal wasted not, neither did the cruse of oil fail, according to the word of the LORD, which he spake by Elijah”.

as the Lord sat upon the mount of Olive, he said, Matthew 24:7 "For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places".

Conclusion: God will sustain thee through any type of famine, Natural or Spiritual. This is called knowing the Lord. Ask whatever you want and he will do it, or give it to you.

and with the "pestilences" as said by the Lord in matthews 24:7 now comes the Pale rider.

Revelation 6:7 "And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see.
Revelation 6:8 "And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.

The fourth horseman, revealed by the fourth beast, the “Face of a flying Eagle", the pale rider, or as Ezekiel said, “I send a pestilence into that land, and pour out my fury upon it”. Fury comes quick, here the Lord, he’s not sending this judgment through the land but over the whole earth, the four parts are the four corners of the whole earth. North, South, East and West. other word, a pandemic of disease. a pestilence means a fatal epidemic disease, as an eagle that fly high above, like Death, it comes to the whole world by or through the air where eagles fly. (Looking at today, many disease are spreaded by air fare from one country to another, "Quickly spreading"). Scripture, Revelation 9:6 "And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them". but this pestilence/disease is fatal. (Sickness and disease) Exodus 15:26 "And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth thee". here the word in Hebrew for diseases is,
H4245 מַחֲלֶה machaleh (mach-al-eh') n-m.
מַחֲלָה machalah (makk-al-aw') [feminine]
sickness.
[from H2470]
KJV: disease, infirmity, sickness.

sickness and infirmities. scripture, 1 Corinthians 11:25 "After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.
1 Corinthians 11:26 "For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord's death till he come.
1 Corinthians 11:27 "Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord.
1 Corinthians 11:28 "But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup.
1 Corinthians 11:29 "For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body.
1 Corinthians 11:30 "For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep.
1 Corinthians 11:31 "For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged.
1 Corinthians 11:32 "But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world.

1 Corinthians 11:34 "And if any man hunger, let him eat at home; that ye come not together unto condemnation. And the rest will I set in order when I come.

physically a spirit of infirmity
Luke 13:11 "And, behold, there was a woman which had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bowed together, and could in no wise lift up herself.

spiritual infirmity
Isaiah 1:5 "Why should ye be stricken any more? ye will revolt more and more: the whole head is sick, and the whole heart faint.
Isaiah 1:6 "From the sole of the foot even unto the head there is no soundness in it; but wounds, and bruises, and putrifying sores: they have not been closed, neither bound up, neither mollified with ointment.
Isaiah 1:7 "Your country is desolate, your cities are burned with fire: your land, strangers devour it in your presence, and it is desolate, as overthrown by strangers.
Isaiah 1:8 "And the daughter of Zion is left as a cottage in a vineyard, as a lodge in a garden of cucumbers, as a besieged city.
Isaiah 1:9 "Except the LORD of hosts had left unto us a very small remnant, we should have been as Sodom, and we should have been like unto Gomorrah.

the healing of one spiritually
Isaiah 53:5 "But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed".

as the Lord sat upon the mount of Olive, he said, Matthew 24:7 "For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places".

Conclusion: Pale rider is sickness and disease, Death, and hell, that follows.
