What do you make of this kriss? I think some of the depictions are very, very interesting - particularly the description and painting there of Christ.

I don't know thats why I thought I would post it. I'm pretty skeptical of these kind of things but I must say this one has gave me pause to think.

I thought it was very interesting myself. One thing I wonder about is that the bible describes Jesus as being visually unattractive and this painting depicts the light-complected green-eyed handsome depiction of Jesus. Perhaps she is just trying to communicate His glory through her art regardless of what Jesus actually looked like in His physical appearance. She is very talented, indeed and it is inspiring to see her devoting it all to God's glory.

True but remember how Jesus appears at the second advent. Hardly that sickly child in a manger or sickly man dying on the cross:Revelaton 19:11-13And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.The transfiguration also comes to mind as well. That's one aspect I find so very interesting about the depiction. It defies much of the common conceptions of Jesus. I always advise caution with things like this because it could easily be a deception, particularly in these times. It's just that image of him carries something to it.As you said, we should all keep in mind who she is depicting. I find the words of Revelation beautiful, but they shall fall far short of His glory.
