I think they will be consecutive, and that means the first one is the Antichrist being revealed.

Yes, I've read that view. Its a perfectly plausible theory. My problem is, the antichrist being the red horse is a perfectly plausible theory too! Maybe even more so to my mind, since he causes war for sure.

Oh...no, haha!
Some think that white horse is the Holy Spirit being poured out at Pentecost and that seal was broken THEN.

The four horses of Revelation are from Matthew 24 in order. The first is the Antichrist. Some think just because it is a white horse it has to be good, and because later in Revelation Jesus comes on a white horse. Different white horses. How else will the Antichrist appear good?

Yes, I understand your view. Was just saying what some others think.

My translation says wild beasts, so I have not knowingly added to the words of revelation, so hold your horses there in calling that curse on me.
You didn't add it -- the translators did.

My translation does not say beasts will kill people in any certain or particular way, so I won't argue about it, I just happen to see viruses and flus that jump to people as a perfectly plausible way for that to be fulfilled. I have no problem with you thinking it must only be fulfilled with tame beasts rather than wild beasts.
I don't think it must be fulfilled "only" with tame animals. I'm saying they can't be excluded. Let's go back to Cain where that story also has a translation problem. Cain says that "any" who find him will kill him. The KJV has it reading "every one" suggesting it must be any human being. Some translations have it reading "whoever." Such translations close the door to the reading even considering it could also mean animals. If you make the connection that it could mean animals or beasts, then we have to wonder if there's a connection with the "mark" God gave Cain. I think there is. I think Cain's sin was so great, even the animals would have seen him as an abomination and would want to kill him. God, desiring to give Cain time to repent, put His own mark on Cain to protect him.
I mean, my cat tried to kill me on the stairs many times.
Can you recall your state of mind just before these incidents? Was your mind entertaining dark imagery perhaps?

I was out delivering newspapers one winter evening when saw deer up ahead on the road. I was in a wonderful state of mind spiritually -- very peaceful. Of course, I slowed down. They amazed me when they didn't move. They just stood on the road, and I had to stop. It remained very peaceful like that for a few seconds. My presence didn't bother them at all. Then an impure mind crossed my mind. I asked myself what would I do if they attacked my vehicle? The precise moment I thought that, they all bolted and ran away. Maybe I'm lucky they didn't attack my vehicle. I allowed my "inner eye" to become evil by imagining evil where none existed.

I also discovered something about birds delivering papers. Years ago, there was a bird (black with an orange stripe) that was almost always on this post when I drove by. I'd say 90% of the time, it would be there and would fly away when I drove by. I tried sending it mental messages that I didn't pose a threat -- it still flew away. Then one day I decided not to look directly at it since I could watch it out of the corner of my eye. That day it didn't fly away. That told me that it could sense if another animal was "looking at" it and might see it as food. Although I was looking at it with affection, it wasn't sure my motive was benevolent.

The tamest of animals can do some surprising things.

Oh, and another mistranslated word is "pale" in that verse. It should be "green horse." The translators had a real problem with that one. It really is "green" since the Greek is "chloros" as in our word "chlorophyll."

I was chatting with my pastor one day about 20 years ago in Arizona and he mentioned that first white horse being Jesus, and I told him about Matthew 24. He grabbed up his Bible and Matthew convinced him. Scripture will many times explain Scripture.

Hi Assuming we are at the 4th seal of revelation, could this be a sign of the outbreak of China's Coronavirus, a pestilence.

Rev 6: 7
When he opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature say, "Come!" 8 And I looked, and behold, a pale horse! And its rider's name was Death, and Hades followed him. And they were given authority over a fourth of the earth, to kill with sword and with famine and with pestilence and by wild beasts of the earth.

It would seem that any historical event requires an initial start, and that circumstance might take YEARS to fully develop into a global catastrophe. So the terms consecutive and concurrent are sometimes synonymous, -- until maturity is achieved. And then it will be CONSECUTIVE.

I did look up mathew 24 from your previous post. I do see what your mind does and what connections it makes. I also see that how you view end time events determines how you see different verses. I would guess (mind you I say, guess), you do not think there will be a gathering together of some before that time of tribulation coming on the whole world to test its people. And that's fine. Its not stupid, what you think. (If its what you think, because remember, I said "I am guessing.")

Revelations is a great book not to speculate on!

Hah! We have to speculate and wonder, who knows for sure or understands it all?? :)

How will anyone figure out and understand what the Scriptures INSTRUCT US TO ANTICIPATE and how to take ACTION, unless we contemplate their meanings. -- If we weren't smart enough to RECEIVE GOD's WORD, HE wouldn't have wasted both HIS time and ours.

Take for example the heedings:
Rev. 13:16 Also it causes all, both small and great, both rich and poor, both free and slave, to be marked on the right hand or the forehead, 17 so that no one can buy or sell unless he has the mark, that is, the name of the beast or the number of its name. 18 This calls for wisdom: let him who has understanding reckon the number of the beast, for it is a human number, its number is six hundred and sixty-six.

Rev. 13:10 If any one is to be taken captive,
to captivity he goes;
if any one slays with the sword,
with the sword must he be slain.
Here is a call for the endurance and faith of the saints.

Rev. 14:9 ... “If any one worships the beast and its image, and receives a mark on his forehead or on his hand, 10 he also shall drink the wine of God’s wrath, poured unmixed into the cup of his anger, and he shall be tormented with fire and sulphur in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. 11 And the smoke of their torment goes up for ever and ever; and they have no rest, day or night, these worshipers of the beast and its image, and whoever receives the mark of its name.”

Maybe the "church" should consider their future in light of:
Luke 22:35 And he said to them, “When I sent you out with no purse or bag or sandals, did you lack anything?” They said, “Nothing.” 36 He said to them, “But now, let him who has a purse take it, and likewise a bag. And let him who has no sword sell his mantle and buy one.

Or not ...

There will be a gathering up, but at the second coming as promised. If there were two, the apostles wouldn't be so abstruse about it. "I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also." And Paul says, "14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus." Notice He doesn't bring back the living, those raptured in some secret unscriptural catching up.

... One of the most interesting "TELL" statistics reported early on, was some 500 RECOVERIES and 500 DEATHS. Of course there's a multi-week lag between the two, but even a 25% MORTALITY should reveal a startling "Trumpet" portent:

Rev. 9:18 By these three plagues a third of mankind was killed ...

... And one more thought, if I might, regarding the "rapture" -- the "dead" must be raised before the living are taken up. And the "dead" are not raised until the thousand years are ended.

Maybe the "church" should heed Lke 22:36 (in context with vs 35), and prepare themselves and their households. Or NOT!

... and forgive me for a question:

Rev. 6:8 And I saw, and behold, a pale horse, and its rider’s name was Death, and Hades followed him; and they were given power over a fourth of the earth, to kill with sword and with famine and with pestilence and by wild beasts of the earth.

Rev. 9:18 By these three plagues a third of mankind was killed

... so 25% + 33% = 58%.

Conversely, it could be a subset, where 75% are left, of which an additional 1/3rd perish, which leaves 50% of the earth's population alive.

So my question is: Are these two numbers accumulative or derivative?

Either one is a TERRIBLE prospect. And so, should the "church" make appropriate preparations to preserve their lives?

Well, no, He doesn't bring back the living. The next verse states what will happen to those living at that time who belong to Him.

To men who believe He will come suddenly, when least expected, as people are marrying and partying as usual in the days of Noah but who ALSO believe He will come back after that day of testing coming on the whole world when no one would be partying or marrying given the sheer severity of the situation (famine, tainted water, etc.), they see that the verses don't match up, and they can't MAKE them match up, in the same exact time frame and event. (And they see this seeming disparity with other verses too), and think, okay, which is it? Does He come when people marry and party as usual OR does He come after the world has been nearly decimated and people wouldn't be holding weddings and partying at all but rather fighting for food, drinking water and their lives?
