We spend a lot of time studying the profundity of God's Word, in order to save the lost, resist the devil and temptation, persevere under persecution, trials and tribulations.
What has this hysteria to do with any of that?
Are you telling me that I should either, take some time out of my Biblical studies, or add to my studies, and start giggling?
Is this, in all your wisdom, what you prescribe to resist the devil?
I assure you, one way to be deceived and beaten by the devil, is to engage in this disarming nonsense.

"Damned" is applied to being damned as vessels unto dishonor in His House if they do not depart from this iniquity before the Bridegroom comes. See 2 Timothy 2:19-21 for confirmation of what that damnation is awaiting for believers for not departing from iniquity.
We read on to see Paul reminding believers of the tradition taught us for when we had received the sanctification of the Spirit & the belief of the truth at the calling of the gospel to expose the lie that no believer can receive the Holy Spirit "again" apart from salvation for any sign from God for that.
13 But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth: 14 Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. 15 Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle.

Watching, while cringing with horror, the video clip you have shown, I know that a Holy God would not make those who are His, look and sound like Asses. He-Hawing, and braying like asses , falling about like drunken men, for it is unseemly and obscene.

I have to be honest here. I can roll about on the floor in hysterical laughter, but it is caused not by God but by such a preposterous contradiction it is totally absurd. To make my reaction happen something would happen or be said that was just so extreme and disconnected, to think about it made me laugh.
So it makes me wonder about holy laughing. I suspect that what you are seeing is the absurdity of what is being claimed when compared with who is claiming it, that it creates this reaction. If anything it is confirming how ridiculous the people are who believe this is a significant experience, in fact it makes me roll around the floor thinking that these folk think this is spirituality. And that is about how seriously you need to take this.
There is nothing exceptional or spiritual about it, or even of value, except for having a good laugh......

Do read the verses in post # 67 of this thread for proof that they are still His.
It can happen to saved believers when they are not rooted in the word but given to chasing after phenomenon because they want to believe every spirit that falls on them is of God.
Sometimes in these phenomenon, they address the Holy Spirit in worship and these signs and lying wonders happen for why they believe this is the Holy Spirit doing that, but the Holy Spirit does not answer prayers for why they should not be addressing the Holy Spirit in worship or in prayer when Jesus Christ is the Only Mediator between God and men ( 1 Timothy 2:5 ) as it is the Son that answers prayers so that the Father may be glorified in the Son for answers to prayers ( John 14:13-14 ).
John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
John 10:1Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.
John 14:13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.
The Holy Spirit gives the credit & glory to answers to prayers and everything the Spirit does to Jesus Christ.
John 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. 14 He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you. 15 All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you.
While the real indwelling Holy Spirit would never take the spotlight off of the Son in worship, the spirits of the antichrist will to lead believers aay from the worshiping the Son to chasing after them to receive for a sign. The word "antichrist" as it is used in scripture is not meaning "against Christ" but rather "instead of Christ" or to be precise, "instead of the Son" when Jesus is the Christ that is to be worshiped to the glory of God the Father. ( Philippians 2:5-13 KJV )
So we can hope & pray that God is peradventuring to recover some from this "snare of the devil", and trust Him as our Good Shepherd to know and when to withdraw from them to admonish them as the verses in post # 67 in this thread commands as we will need His help to do that too.

Scripture did say this;

Having been to a place where it had occurred a week earlier and in that service I was in, only one out of all those people that came forward laughed uncontrollably, I felt a hand outside of me pushing me to go forward when there was no one behind me for several rows to do that.
Anyway, per the scripture in 1 John 4:1-4, He led me to discern that experience as the spirit of the antichrist that was outside of me that had pushed me to go forward.
I had received a warning from the Lord a week prior where after reading from the Upper Room or the daily Bread. I was to decide that day to serve the Lord Jesus Christ or something else in His name. I said out loud, "You, of course" but that sense of urgency remained. and so I prayed that He would help me to do it and I had received His peace then. After He helped me to discern that movement as not of Him, it was later when I connected His warning to that event. So, I kind of felt like a duh but I am grateful to Jesus Christ being my Good Shepherd in keeping me for "falling" for that and being a disciple of that movement in promoting it in seeking the glory of that movement to others.
Jesus is helping me to serve Him as His disciple by preaching no other calling, no other Jesus or Holy Spirit to receive, but preaching Jesus Christ and Him crucified. That is how we are to serve Him as His disciples by testifying of the Son in seeking His glory.
So I strongly advise you never to go there because you will find the phenomenon not a mind thing but a reality thing by a supernatural phenomenon and since scripture warned us of it and even the apostle John for why we are to test the spirits, we should take heed.
I understand your point and I know how faking it to join the crowd can be a temptation too, but it is a real phenomenon. Just like tongues without interpretation which is assumed for private use gained by receiving what they believe was the Holy Spirit apart from salvation. So beware, brother.

Those abiding in Him and His words trusting Him to be our Good Shepherd shall not fall away from the faith to such a phenomenon, but it can happen to believers that are not rooted in His words but love the spectacular to chase after seducing spirits and confusion which God is not the author of.

Watching Heidi Baker stumble around drunk and laughing uncontrollably has always been disturbing.
Yes, joyful in the Lord for what He has done but do not see how that translates to intoxicated and in a stupor in the House of the Lord. Jesus came to the man legion and what was disturbing to others who witnessed was how Christ had the man who had previously been ”mad”, the man sat fully clothed and in his right mind. Paul also spoke of God’s giving the Spirit of love and a sound mind...then urges ...”be sober.”

A house divided cannot stand. For them to believe that phenomenon is the fruit of joy when drunkenness is a work of the flesh and the fruit of temperance which is self control is the fruit of the Spirit, it stands to judgment that the fruit of joy is not drunkenness and that spirit is not of Him at all.

do agree but I am torn also. Not being able to write off Mrs. Baker just yet. If you have ever read her story ...she is a broken woman wanting love and acceptance but maybe going about it the wrong way to receive it. I’m not judging her as I see myself. But would suggest she has fallen to be a great pretender or actor. Yet, she is not alone...there are many pretenders and actors even in religion which settle for the false image and call it the real thing. There is a wide and big stage of pretending and Heidi is by far not the only one stepping up on it. I might even be there with her...pretending.

Yeah, thinking God administers Holy Laughter is as crazy as thinking he would have Isaiah go around stark naked from the waist, down for three solid years.

Khundalini can boast of broken people or sad people or whatever kind of people that believe they had been helped by khundalini so the phenomenon can be real and not just tempting people to fake it to join in.
We can all empathize with the woman on seeking acceptance, but the only acceptance God has provided for any one is by believing in Jesus Christ & Him crucified. So we either look to Jesus for making us acceptable or we are look to a phenomenon in promoting that to others in making them feel acceptable. We either preach Jesus Christ & Him crucified or we are preaching another gospel and "holy laughter" movement is another gospel.
Thank the Lord for providing that truth through Paul, because I would not have known otherwise without Him being my Good Shepherd and His words.
You saw the video, right?
If sinners were doing that before Pentecost, how can God call those sinners to the Son in repentance if He does the same thing they have done before? How would the sinners know they have departed from those spirits? How could the church know they have truly repented?
So this is why holy laughter cannot be of Him at all, brother. Do ask the Son in normal prayer for confirmation of that truth.

I will never say someone is lying about these things. Just because I have not experienced them, and yes...do find the holy laughing and gyrating on the floor disturbing, who am I to question if God has not given this to some? My question would be: Why? for what purpose? Not my place to judge our bros and sisters as it is their personal experience.
