Grains, fruits, nuts and vegetables constitute the diet chosen for us by our Creator. These foods prepared in as simple and natural manner as possible, free from spice and grease of all kinds, are the most healthful and nourishing. They impart a strength, a power of endurance, and help the intellect, that are not afforded by a more complex and stimulating diet.

I was reading a new finding that diabetes can be brought under control if people would just eat vegies, basically the diet found in the Garden of Eden.

"The positive effects of a vegan diet on diabetes have made the news big time lately, but here is an interesting article that goes further, and specifically researches the effects of vegetables.

The results are promising, and enough to convince anyone, especially diabetics, to eat more than just the recommended '5 servings a day.' Even better news: vegetables are also powerful warriors against cancer, but it's important not to smoke, or these benefits may be erased.

Chomping on a few vegetables may help ward off diabetes. That is according to a new study at the Minnesota School of Public Health. Inside these and other orange, red, and green foods like carrots, tomatoes, kale, and spinach are caroteniods. Those carotenoids have previously been shown to protect against cancer. These have been shown to lower your odds of a lifetime of getting diabetes....Now go eat your vegetables!.."

"....When it comes to vegetables, people with diabetes, should eat at least three servings a day. Vegetables are healthy, chock full of vitamins and minerals, and some give you much needed fiber. The best part: vegetables are naturally low in calories -- if you are careful not to top them with butter, sour cream, cream soups, or cheese sauces.

Remember, non-starchy vegetables such as spinach, broccoli, lettuce, greens, carrots, chilies, peppers and tomatoes (those in this food group) do contain a small amount of carbohydrate -- 5 grams per serving.

Easy ways to eat your vegetables:
•Keep frozen and canned vegetables on hand to know you always have vegetables at the ready.
•Make double and triple portions; at a serving one day and have one ready-to-go for the next.
•Blanch (quick cook and chill) a head of broccoli or cauliflower, break it into pieces, place in a plastic container and have a ready supply for the week, hot or cold.
•Keep a bag of pre-cut or baby carrots around -- grab a handful as a snack, pack them with lunch, throw them into stew, or microwave for a quick vegetable.
•Microwave or sauté onions and peppers to put more vegetables into a tomato sauce.
•Toss extra sautéed vegetables on a frozen pizza.
•Make a big salad to last a few days, store in the refrigerator in a plastic container.
•Add vegetables into sandwiches -- not just the old lettuce and tomato, try alfalfa sprouts, sliced red onion, sliced cucumbers, sliced yellow squash or zucchini, red peppers, or leftover grilled vegetables.
•Add vegetables to an omelette or scrambled eggs -- sauté onions, peppers, mushrooms, tomatoes and add some fresh herbs.
•Drink tomato juice, V-8 ... as a vegetable.
•In a tomato sauce, cut the amount of meat you use in half, and add more vegetables -- onions, peppers, mushrooms, eggplant, zucchini or others..."

This is a great explanation on why plant base meals are better..
"it’d be great if a burger-a-day diet was healthy. Don’t get me wrong—it’s not the worst. You’ve got protein in there and hopefully some veggies on top (and on the side) , and even some fiber from the roll (you used whole grain, right?).

Unfortunately, study after study shows that meat as a protein source just isn't that healthy. It's far better to get that necessary protein from plants. Generally speaking, diets heavy on plant matter tend to be healthier. One study found that those eating the most fruit-and-veg-dense diets had a 31 percent lower risk of dying from cardiovascular disease and a roughly 20 percent lower risk of overall mortality than those eating animal-focused diets. That study didn't look specifically at protein, but participants consumed the other main animal-sourced food group, dairy, at about equal rates no matter what, so ultimately this comes down to replacing meat with alternative protein sources.

And yes, these associations are correlations, not causations. But there are some legitimate reasons that plant-based protein sources like beans are a healthier alternative to bacon. The researchers aren’t saying you can’t or shouldn’t indulge in a thick Delmonico or a flame-grilled cheeseburger. Rather that you should enjoy them in moderation. Generally, research shows that less animal meat—most especially red meat—is better than more, in terms of long term health. You don’t have to love tofu, either (it’s not the best plant-based protein anyway), as long as you strive to eat more of your protein from the ground and less from animals. Would help if you said where you read this nonsense.
Type1 diabetes can not be controlled by diet. The body does not produce the insulin necessary to turn carbohydrates into sugar, so diet is used to control the amount of carb eaten and insulin is injected according to how much has been eaten and according to what a blood reading taken and measured.
This is done five times a day.

As for eating the Eden diet, fine if that is what you want, but remember God gave permission for meat to be eaten, so who are you attacking if you say it is bad.

I have diabetes so I know, but the type 2 can be, and there are huge numbers that are getting it, especially with the fast foods they are eating. Check out Dr. Hans Diehl on how many illnesses we seeing today that can be reversed with a change to a good diet....

Funny how some diabetics do great on a keto diet, then...
Yes excessive sugar and carbs are bad for you. But meat isn't the devil. Some people thrive on a full carnivore diet too.

A diet full of overly processed food and being grossly over weight is known to bring on type2 .
Sometimes if caught early enough, lossing the exces weight and eating a sensible diet the type2 can be reversed.

It is not guaranteed.

I've got Type 2, was injecting insulin 4-5 times a day, plus all the other meds. Hypertension. High Cholestrol, all that. Now my weight is down, off the prescriptions, and getting 5.7 - 6.4 A1C.

So I can only say this. No formula restored my health. God manuevered me into the diet and lifestyle He means for me, I think. And I don't think that someone else can just duplicate what I'm doing. Most wouldn't want to, I think, but I love my food!

Much love!

What's best to consume? IMO

Small amounts throughout the day.
Local, ripe and fresh.
Knowing the soil..cover crops, tilled, rested.
Not loaded with pesticides.
Grazing animals, not loaded with hormones.
All veg. Fresh, raw or lightly steamed, Plenty of Green veg. (Least processed).
Root crops.
Non- chlorinated water.
Non- pasteurized milk.

(FYI...good luck finding anything fresh, local, not loaded with hormones, pesticides, things you cannot pronounce, preservatives and fillers in an average Grocery store.)

Test strips available-
Optimum Ph body level - 7.2
Healthy Ph body level - 6.6 - 6.8

Ph level in harmony / sickness and disease avoided or corrected.

Glory to God,
Taken

Many people since 1920 have already long ago and today DUPLICATED WHAT YOU ARE DOING - successfully like you have found.
However,
most people are guinea pigs, test subjects for profit, at the hands of the drug lords in the usa/ world,
and won't be told what they can do - they have to find out on their own..... (SAFELY)

Controling type 1diabeties by diet is nonsense.
In type1 the body does not produce insulin needed to break down carbohydrates so it is not controllable by diet.
That is why it is nonsense to suggest it can be controlled by diet.

If you do not know, just say so.
IF you want to know, seek the truth, and keep (do not give up) seeking.
IF you trust the liars, so sad... so bad... no help here then.

Hi Joseph,

Really what I'm saying is that God gave me a tailored health regime that works for me, but doesn't provide a recipe for someone else. And not that I worked all this out. God has put thoughts into my mind of what I should eat, and has used tastes and food sensitivities to manuever me.

Much love!

I think the only way to avoid elevated blood sugar with type 1 diabetes is to abstain completely from eating.

That's both true, and in line with HIS DIRECTIONS (GOD'S WORD), so yes, it is still something for others also, if they are guided by HIM, and learn from HIM.
Most people , with and without knowledge that the Bible is His Word, are unaware, or refuse to believe that His Directions would help them.

I will put it in simple terms that even you will understand

Those who say type 1 diabetes can be controlled by diet only are lying. They are deliberately telling what is not true.

How do I know, two reasons, I listen to what doctors say and my daughter has type 1 diabetes so you and other liars stop repeating blatant lies that diet will controll type 1 diabetes.

Instead, seek the truth.
Yes, most people do not, may not, or cannot control as in cure type 1.
So?

They have and can REDUCE the amount of drugs they need, IF THEY FIND OUT HOW, AND DO IT.

Some have been cured this way, or been able to 'return' to oral medicine instead of injections.

Some have been able to eliminate oral medicine.

NOT EVERYONE. No.

Those who listen to the doctors (the ama bound doctors), are getting worse daily, all over the country.

Those who listen to the doctors (doctors not bound by pharmakeia), have a chance to get better daily, and many do.

So? Seek and keep seeking what people do, that works, in line with all Scripture, under a doctors supervision,
instead of seeking or staying in what pharmakeia says to do that does not work.

Or, most simply, find out what works.

If something does not work, find something else.
