Thanks Christina, you brought some really good verses that go with this well Isaiah spoke about this Son of Perdition and Satan. Yes, we are beginning to see much clearer the fullness of what was written concerning the End of this Age, and what to be expecting in this time quickly coming on the earth and against Jerusalem. To keep trusting in the Lord, as this Man called the Son of Perdition, when he is revealed 2 Thess 2:3 will wreak havoc with his armies and be bent on destroying the Holy Land and it's people. We will be taken into captivity and others killed with the sword as this prophecy will come to fulfillment soon and is setting itself up now. We have been told his office he holds in the flesh, we have been told he receives Satan's powers, and we know that he will oppose those who hold the testimony of Jesus, which is us Saints. Then Christ will come and remove him resurrect the dead and make new the earth and the heavens that have been destroyed and bring peace and eternal life to those who have obeyed and honored him as commanded. You bring a great chapter for the description of the man. These scriptures in Isaiah 14 are speaking of the Son of Perdition. Who Isaiah 14:3-4 acknowledges this Man, the Oppressor, as the King of Babylon. We have been given here the one who is going to be revealed soon. And through out the chapter this man is spoken of having offspring and they will be slaughtered at Christ's coming. One verse that might be of strong use for defining this man who receives Satan's power as a ordinary man is Revelation 19:20 But the beast was captured and with him his false prophet, (this is Jesus who has come and captured them) who performed the miraculous signs on his behalf. With these signs he had deluded those who had received the mark of the beast, and worshiped him. Check out what happens next. The two of them (false prophet and the beast/8th king a man) were THROWN ALIVE INTO THE FIERY LAKE OF BURNING SULFUR.. Ask yourself what do the verses say happens to Satan at Christ's return? Revelation 20:7 says Satan is released from his prison. Satan can not be the onethrown into the Lake of fire. What God showed me that separated these two, in Isaiah 14:12 KJV calls him Lucifer, NIV calls him a morning star, son of the DAWN, means he is a man on earth, where there is Dawn. When we realize that Satan has given this man his throne , kingdom , authority as Rev 13:2 says, this explains why this man in Isaiah 14:12 tried to ascend into heaven to dethrone God. I disagree with the teachings this verse 12 is speaking of Satan,, but rather is the Son of perdition who has been given the powers to do that. This confederacy of all the world's Nations, Educational systems (Media), Monetary systems, and most importantly the Religions will be in effect under the rule of one Governing body. This will make it possible for the antichrist to step in, take the reins, and assume control of most every soul on the planet. This antichrist is the second beast of Revelation chapter thirteen, and he is satan himself, who comes first before Jesus Christ's Second Advent, and he claims to be the True prophesied Messiah. Satan will work differently in this second earth age, than he worked in the first earth age [given in Revelation 12:1-6]. Then the crowns of power was given to the kings that sat over the people, where as in Revelation 13:1-3 we saw that it was the ten agencies of power that wore the crowns of power, not individuals.Revelation 17:8 "The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is [shall come]."This "beast" was in the Garden of Eden deceiving [beguiling] Eve; he is not here now, for he is in heaven accusing the saints before the throne of God, now. He [Satan] will ascend out of the bottomless pit, as we saw in Revelation 9:1, and 2, and "he will go to perdition", following the judgment at the end of the Millennium kingdom age. "He" spoken of here, is Satan, Satan is the "son of perdition" as recorded in II Thessalonians 2:1-4, and he will be the first Christ to come at the end of this earth age. Revelation 17:9 "And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth." The "Mountains" are seven nations, or dominions. They are areas of land, and all seven dominions comprise the entire earth. They will make up Satan's earthly kingdom. A "kingdom" is "a king and his domain". The "woman", or this false religion will sit and rule over all seven of these dominions. "She" is the religion of Satan created by the Kenites, and the eighth verse told us it is Satan [the beast] that will sit over the woman.Revelation 17:10 "And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space."There were ten kings at first, but this deals with seven different kings. These seven kings have been over their dominions for some time. There is only one king that Christ has given power over all the earth in the past two thousand years, and that king is Satan. These seven kings represent the seven offices that Satan has held, from the "dragon" in the first earth age, "serpent" in the garden, all the way through this age to the Antichrist at the end of this age. There has been five roles that Satan has and is playing to this date, and Satan is our "accuser" before the throne of God today, but in time he will be right here on earth filling the role of Antichrist, which will be for a very short time. Revelation 17:12 "And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power [authority] as kings one hour with the beast."These "ten horns" are ten kings, and all these kings exists at the same time. They are not like the seven kings of the roles of Satan. They do not rule until a specific time, and then they rule for one hour. The beast [Antichrist] must appear first, then their power will be given to them by the Antichrist. This is after the deadly wound has been healed, the ending of the one world political system. This is the "hour of temptation" Jesus speaks of and warned us of seven times. The warnings are given so that we will not follow, or be deceived by this beast in that final hour [of this age].
