About 40% of US adults are obese, government survey finds

About 4 in 10 American adults are obese, and nearly 1 in 10 is severely so, government researchers said Thursday.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention findings come from a 2017-18 health survey that measures height and weight. More than 5,000 U.S. adults took part.

The survey found that the obesity rate was 42% — higher than the 40% found in a similar 2015-16 study. The severe obesity rate was more than 9% in the new survey, up from the 8% figure in the previous one.

I wonder when was America ever Great? Some might say it is in the years after they gained independence America became the richest Country in the shortest amount of time....I would say those riches were built by people who were kidnapped from their own cultures and forced into servitude for hundreds of years....hardly a claim for greatness or is it that they have a similar plan?

I don't know what most political slogans mean. I don't know what Trump meant by that slogan. Some people think it means make white people dominant again. I won't say Trump meant it that way; but some white supremacists take it that way.
