Hi, As I write these things I need to say they are my OPINION. IMHO I feel that the elect are those chosen who have been called., Many are called but few are chosen.You don't have to agree with me, it is simply my opinion. I was asked once asked by someone if I had read any of the "Left Behind" books. "No," I replied, I'm not going to be here when it happens, so I'm not really worried about it." There are so many different ideas of what will happen and who will be where and what will happen to those left, etc. But, if you really believe the Scriptures teach that Christ is coming back, and that this mortal must put on immortality, and that we really will meet him in the air, then I'm so going to wait until that day and get my instructions from the Lord.BUT, in the meantime, even though we have the great hope to look forward to, we still have a life to live until he comes back. We have plenty of instructions on how to live our lives. God has not left us hopeless, and, He has not left us helpless. His promises are still true for us each and every day. I am just so thankful to be alive! BTW - I have always thought that the alien thing would be a good cover - the Roswell crowd will be screaming, "Told You So!!"We are another day closer...Mike

Yep, we need to be living our lifes for Christ daily, in our actions and our thoughts. Conforming to Christ commands in all we say and do. Repenting where we fall short. The world is becoming more wicked and unless these days are cut short there will be no flesh save. But Christ will cut it short for us, give praise to our Lord who cares for us.Vickie
