This is a classic question that always promotes good healthy discussion. Do animals go to heaven? Would be best if you can provide scriptural evidence to back up your belief.Just bringing this topic up after seeing a particularly unfathomable news story about animal cruelty. I've grown up as a pretty big animal lover myself. Something like what happen just utterly confounds and shocks me that their could be so much evil in one person.

I can't think of any scripture that describes the eternal destination of animals. Perhaps they have their own heaven, I don't know. Good question but I don't know of anyone who can answer that, sorry!

although I cant think of a specific scripture that says animals go to heavenas a dog person And knowing the uncondtional love they give you, seeing howelephants morn their dead, and dolphins relate to people espically if there ill.are just some examples knowing how many times God uses animals in scripture even comparing and calling Jesus a lamb I find it hard to beleive Jesus would be compared to an animal if it had no soul, also in Isa.65:25where it talks of the wolf and lamb lying together and the lion eating straw inticates to me that God will change the nature of animals how could he do this if they had no soul ? I beleive animals do have souls and God says to be absent from the body is to be present with the lord the lord resides in heaven so my conclusion is yes animals go to heaven.

In the light of the teaching of Scripture, heaven is the place of God’s abode where we also find the good angels and human beings because they were created in the image of God with a soul and spirit. Animals were not created in God’s image and are never portrayed in Scripture as going to heaven or paradise. It is important to note that the Bible also teaches us, that only those who have a personal relationship with God through faith in Christ either as Old Testament saints who looked forward to the coming of Christ as promised in the Old Testament or as New Testament believers (see Jn 3:3-18) will go to heaven. You might want to compare Ecclesiastes 3:21 and note the following comment from The Expositors Bible Commentary.3:18-22 Meanwhile, the Teacher centered his thoughts on the inevitability of death. In their context these verses say that God makes all sensible people realize that they are as much subject to death as is the animal world. Both are animated by a similar breath of life that sustains them while living and is withdrawn at death (vv. 19-21). The same word for “spirit” or “breath” (ruah) is used in v. 19 and v. 21. People and animals also resemble each other in having bodies made of vegetable and mineral substances that revert to dust at death (v. 20). The Teacher is speaking phenomenologically, i.e., as things appear to the senses. There is no reference here to any personal spirit or soul, but the spirit or breath is the sustaining life that comes from God (Gen 6:17; Ps 104:29-30).:cross2:

James 4:3 Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts. John 14:13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.IT IS NOT TO ASK AMISS ............TO PRAY FOR YOUR ANIMALS TO GO TO HEAVEN....................GOD GAVE THEM TO US TO LOVE..........ASK THROUGH PRAYER THAT YOUR LOVED ANIMAL WILL GO TO HEAVEN.........................John 14:14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.GOD BLESSLOVE123

I don't know if animals go to heaven but I sure hope so! I'd love to be able to be with my four legged loved ones forever!I do pray for my animals and God has always come through for me! I have one do who at 5 months was diagnosed with kyphosis (spine curve) and I was told he wouldn't reach 8 months. Then at 8 months I found out he had CHD (Canine hip dysplasia) and wouldn't reach 12 months. Well, we paid over Romeo .. even laying on hand to his "backside"... lol... and I'm happy to tell you here's 4 1/2 years old now and going strong! *insert THANK YOU JESUS emoticon here*
