No. If one is already a Bible believing Christian, he is already a seventh day Adventist. He joins that church to fellowship with like minded individuals who aren't going to falsely accuse him of nonsense.
Do you realise Jesus was a seventh day Adventist? And the church He started was filled with seventh day Adventists?
Then after the resurrection, those who followed Jesus changed from Saturday to Sunday worship.

Very true.

When I replied I really did not expect to receive a Favorable response! I do keep the Seventh Day, and I am not SDA, I follow Yeshua, and I do what He did, He is our example, He kept the Sabbath, He kept the Feasts, He kept the Commandments, If He had not then He would have not been Sinless, I am far from perfect, yet I do try to do what He said to do! Hebrew Roots would best express How I live!
Be Blessed!

What point have I missed?

And the principle is, the fact and principle BECAUSE <Jesus rose from the dead>
You need to go back and check the question in the original post re Sabbath or Sunday...that is the point you've missed.
Secondly....you have not clarified what you mean by 'the principle', you have just repeated the same statement.

Correct. If you go back, I did say we needed to be careful with those sites, that one included. :)

In their defence let me suggest that when we worship God, we are doing both of the things you say we need to do. We are resting from our work and keeping it Holy.

I'm afraid Cooper you won't find that rational in the scriptures. What it is doing is ratcheting the scriptures around to say what it's not saying. Jesus chastised the religious leaders in his day for doing the same thing.

Paul Christensen, Read this book and you will see what the sda shut their blinking eyes for, HOW BLASPHEMOUSLY UNSCRIPTURAL a den of robbers abused a weak woman to write their demonic diction for them!

Save the Sabbath 1
Your colourful language Gerhard reminders me of the various accusations that Jesus endured from the religious leaders.

Not true. Jesus took upon Himself the wrath of the Father in the three hours He hung on the cross. At 3pm He cried out, "It is finished, the debt is paid", and He said, "Father into your hands I commit my spirit". He told the thief, "Today, you shall be with me in Paradise."

This mean that his body was in the tomb, but His spirit was with the Father in Paradise along with the penitent criminal.

There is a teaching going around that Jesus went to hell and was tormented by the devil. This is a heresy. When Jesus said "It is finished", it was all over, He had paid the debt for us, and He was able to give up His life, and His spirit went to the Father, and not to hell.

When Peter said that He went to preach the gospel to those in prison, it is either to declare to show the unsaved in Hades what the gospel was about and how because of their unbelief they were condemned; or He went to Paradise to assure the believers there that their faith was linked to the gospel and that He had taken upon Himself the penalty for their sin and that they can expect to be resurrected to eternal life at the last day.

That Jesus went to hell and was tormented by the devil is a popular heresy taught by the "name it and claim it" heretical prosperity preachers who are extorting money from vulnerable people to increase their own wealth.

If Jesus was to go through more punishment from God after He died, He would not have said, "It is finished" just before He died. If Jesus said, "It is finished; the debt is paid" that's it. He doesn't have to endure any more punishment, because in the three hours He hung on the cross, He endured the whole, eternal wrath of God for every person who believes in Him, past, present, and future. ie: all those through God's foreknowledge who are written in the Lamb's book of life from the foundation of the world. God knows every single person from Adam onwards who is going to believe in the Messiah, Jesus Christ, to the last day, and Jesus took upon Himself, as He hung on the cross, the eternal wrath of God for everyone one of them. The proof that Jesus is eternal is that it took Him just three hours to receive the full eternal wrath for countless millions of people who put their trust in God for their salvation.
Well with all the false teachings in the world how do you know what is a heresy or not or what's really true...

Jesus was a Jew, see what happens when people have idols in there hearts, even religion, twist the truth, you are not free you are in egypt a slave to pharoah.
Not twisting anything. A seventh day Adventist is one who honors the Sabbath and looks forward in expectation of the second Advent. Are you suggesting that Jesus was neither of the above simply because if His ethnicity?

There are seven churches making up the one, all which will be sealed in the Lambs Book of Life....

Candlesticks
- Seven church congregations
Stars - Individuals within the congregations, all held in the right hand of Christ
Seals - The seven seals sealed each congregation within the lambs book of life

And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the book, neither to look thereon. - Revelation 5:4

If this interpretation is not correct why all the ado?

254811_e2605e7ea7d44a55b55ec8f9edea64a9.png

1. Ephesus - Messianic - Obstained from the Gentiles
2. Smyrna - Martyr - The Foxes Book of Martyrs has the Roman Persecution as ten.
3. Pergamos - Orthodox- Pergos is a tower... Needed in the dark ages
4. Thyatira - Catholic - The spirit of Jezebel is to control and to dominate.
5. Sardis- Protestantism formed in this time- A sardius is a gem - elegant yet hard and rigid
6. Philadelphia - period of revivals - To be sanctioned is to acquire it with love.
7. Laodicea - Rich and increased with goods and have need of nothing?

Most of these churches worshipped on Sunday. A few, such as the Messianic and Adventist worship on Saturday. I am not, though, Adventist. SDA`s Ellen White was initially converted at a Methodist camp meeting, where she testifies of her heart being at perfect peace, and I wish she would have continued in that way.

Something to do with,

1Co 3:3 For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men?
1Co 3:4 For while one saith, I am of Paul; and another, I am of Apollos; are ye not carnal?
1Co 3:5 Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers by whom ye believed, even as the Lord gave to every man?

so according to you the catholics must be right too, since he did create the universal church too, so why are you not a catholic..

should i too add

Rom_1:25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

Christians set aside a day when they cease from work and worship God. If that is wrong, then I would like to know how. Thank you.

Indeed, but not during the lifetime of those who wrote the scriptures.

Jesus would not have been allowed to teach in the temple if he had not followed Jewish traditions, which he broke when he worked on their Sabbeth.

Seeing as Jesus is 'Lord of Lords' and 'King of Kings', why don't you worship him on the Lords Day the same as the early Chritians?

Then educate me please.
The 4th Commandment is specific regarding our relationship to work and time for ourselves and those 'within our borders'. It is clear just like the other nine.
No excuse for murder because one is at war....no excuse for adultery because it's irresistible or convenient....no excuse for bearing false witness because it gives an advantage, no excuse for coveting because one is ambitious etc etc

A Christian can only be joined to Christ or they are playing teh harlot and an aldulterer

Your entire philosophy and doctrine and wisdom and call it whatever pivot on one single word which has taken you on a perpetual incurable 'spiritual' intoxication high, the completely innocent and simple little word, <join> or <be joined> which is the one act of God Almighty: IN TRUTH to be joined to Christ one's Saviour WHILE AS WELL to "the Body of Christ's Own" his Church of All Saved. No saved person is <joined to> only the one and not to the other.
Your judgement that to be joined together in The Assemblies of Christ His Church means <<they are playing teh harlot and an aldulterer>>, to say the least, is nauseating DIABOLIC blasphemy the distinctive and mark of the idiotic vulgar FOOL!

You were commenting on Pearl's uploaded article in post 144 which argued that the Sabbath observance is not required. Here is the conclusion of the article you commented on:-

'The Sabbath was given to Israel, not the church. The Sabbath is still Saturday, not Sunday, and has never been changed. But the Sabbath is part of the Old Testament Law, and Christians are free from the bondage of the Law (Galatians 4:1-26; Romans 6:14). Sabbath keeping is not required of the Christian—be it Saturday or Sunday. The first day of the week, Sunday, the Lord’s Day (Revelation 1:10) celebrates the New Creation, with Christ as our resurrected Head. We are not obligated to follow the Mosaic Sabbath—resting, but are now free to follow the risen Christ—serving. The Apostle Paul said that each individual Christian should decide whether to observe a Sabbath rest, “One man considers one day more sacred than another; another man considers every day alike. Each one should be fully convinced in his own mind” (Romans 14:5). We are to worship God every day, not just on Saturday or Sunday'

Your comment was:-
The conclusion is correct when it says, "We are to worship God every day, not just on Saturday or Sunday."
which in its context affirms the article.

The article basically nullifies the 4th Commandment by calling it the Mosaic Sabbath thus aligning it with the ceremonial laws. This manoeuvre is sleight of hand because the Commandments written with the finger of God (the Decalog) were never deemed ceremonial any more than the other nine were.

When Paul says “One man considers one day more sacred than another; another man considers every day alike. Each one should be fully convinced in his own mind” (Romans 14:5). he is referring to the ceremonial Sabbaths (meaning, to rest from labour) like Passover and various others. He is not referring to the Sabbath command in the Decalog. This he confirms in Romans 3:31 'Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.'

Well with all the false teachings in the world how do you know what is a heresy or not or what's really true...
I just read the Bible as it is written and not read stuff into it that is not there.

The Bible says that we all have to give an account for the way we live our lives. It says, "It is appointed unto people once to die and after this the judgment". So you and I will die one day and face God in the judgment. All of life is heading toward the judgment and there is no avoiding it. What will you when you find yourself standing alone before God in the judgment and God reviews your life according to whether you obeyed the Ten Commandments or not?

If you are misreading the Bible about where Jesus paid the penalty for our sin, then you may not know what it means to be born again. And if you are not born again, you are in terrible danger. I'm not saying this, the Bible is.

Do you think it is heresy when the Bible says, "Examine yourself to see whether you are in the faith"?

Yes you seem to know a lot about that dont you. Not much about the truth, but than what is truth, to a man who is indoctrinated into a religion, his religion is truth, and all else is lies, for a man in Christ the only truth is Christ and all mens religions are lies.

And I must add, whats mens churches got to do with Christ.

should i repeat.

1Co 6:15 Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid.
1Co 6:16 What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith he, shall be one flesh.
1Co 6:17 But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.

and again

Joh_14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

not your religion or anyone elses.
