Opening the third eye was one of the biggest mistakes of my life and in the long run it will most absolutely be yours too. The third eye is the spiritual eye that does not belong being opened by clearing the mind and listening to new age music. The third eye is a spiritual eye that if used on anything except God and his word ends up in serious disaster and Demon Possession.

I laughed out loud at your title!!! If that is a how-to video on opening the third eye, I think I'll pass. Or is it a Christian video about the dangers? I can't tell.

I don't know why any Christian would mess with that new age garbage. I've talked to people into it and they are so decieved. There seems to be lot of extreme vegans into extreme new age garbage. Messed up world we live in.

Part of the Occult was working to re-learn what the wisemen and court sorcerers of Egypt and Babylon knew. That leads into False Prophets of Baal that Elijah confronted. All occult tends to lead into some form of Gnosticism. In Eastern Mysticism, a Seer has a Third Eye? Western Occultist as they found the East may have thought that they found some sort of truth. The Truth is, they were all getting into demons. They were looking for "mystical powers" and knowledge. They should have turned to God who has all knowledge. No one asks? That type of thing ended up presented as "New Age."

I didn't know what a Third Eye was. I was an average man as far as bible knowledge for a life long Christian. I had never been in any mysticism other than my Church believed in the Gifts of the Spirit. I received a calling around the age of 30. I was receiving from God. Growing in Faith, talking to God, and receiving from God, eventually where I talked to God centered on a Diamond in the middle of my forehead.

When I write this type of thing, some people read what they WANTed to read, or they attack me. Lets break this down.

  • I had never done any New Age or Eastern Mysticism.
  • I was a pretty average Christian around the age of 30 in terms of Bible Knowledge. Not a Bible Scholar.
  • I received a calling around the age of 30.
  • Working to grow in Faith with God, where I talked to God ended up centered on my forehead.
  • I had no idea what a Third Eye was.

What are some things that helped me grow in Faith?

Some Churches have taught a Post Modern Mush God.

Article: Be Ye Angry And Sin Not By Leonard Ravenhill.

I was seeking God with all my heart. I had been through some rough trials in my 20's. Seeking God, I worked to understand God and God's character.

God is love. (1 John 4:8)
The Lord is a Man of War. (Exodus 15:3)(Isaiah 42:13)(Matthew 10:34-37)

I worked to get the character of God more right. In growing in Faith, God gave me some proverbs.

Post: Understanding and Growing in Faith : Conceptual_BibleStudy

That is all I did. Faith is a relationship, a knowledgeable dependence.

Question: Given someone ended up talking to God, or opened their third eye like in post #6, could they have ended up with demons?

In history, given someone had a claim to talk to God, they may have heard "Voices." He may have become aware of the Spiritual. When I write history, the Middle Ages and before. Even today. Given someone was WILLFUL, he may have wanted something. He wanted mystical powers. He wanted knowledge. He wanted attention. He wanted money. He wanted something. Someone working to open their third eye like this in third eye New Age Mysticism may have experienced demons. He was outside of God. He may have been a possessed person already. He may have ended up "More Possessed." Given The Lord is your shepherd, you shall not want. (Psalms 23)

Have I experienced demons? I have. I have God. Given I received something "Not-God" I ignored it mostly until it was just me and God. Someone growing in Faith holds close to God.

The following song references a man who traditionally claimed to talk to God. The Holy Ghost is Unquenchable Fire. Give me that Fire.

Song:

I suppose it takes mental toughness and discipline. God is long suffering. Someone may have had to have lived hard and trained to deal with that. It is not something for a twenty year old college student from the suburbs to walk into necessarily. God is hard. God is long suffering. Given people are practicing Christianity right, they may have lived stoically for a time, and observed fasts, and endured some Acts of Fortitude. They did hard things.

Video:

God is awesome. I have experienced some ecstasies. I may have had to endured some trials in my life to prepare me for what God gave me later.

I currently have 142 posts here on this forum board. I don't know that I have taught anything about The Third Eye. I have mostly mentioned it on places like /r/religion towards breaking some people down.

Given a Priest in year 400 AD had some of the things God gave me, two concepts come to mind.

"Need to know."

"Frame of Reference."

Need to Know

A Priest has a flock. In way, he may be "Married" to his flock. For example, a deacon in the Bible is supposed to only have one wife. In Biblical Polygamy, a King may have been "married" to his Nation, and should only have one wife. He has duties and responsibilities.

A Priest may have a Need to Know. Given something was wrong in his flock, he had a need to know, and went to deal with sin or corruption. We are a Body of Christ. We all have functions in the body. (Ephesians 4:11) Given your left hand causes you to sin, cut it off. Being cut off may be like an exile or excommunication or something.

Someone who found God in a big way, and grew in Faith, may have gone through Gnosis where they have access to all knowledge. Walking down the street looking at people, they may have perceived things through the Spirit of God, or God may have told them something. To receive, someone may have needed a Need to Know.

Many people may have done gross and filthy things, at this time, Man on Fire probably knows about it because God shared it with him. On a personal level, Man on Fire doesn't have a need to know. Be earnest and repent.

Frame of Reference

Given someone has never been to the ocean before, it may be hard to describe it? The ocean has a lot of unique smells and sounds. Never having been to the ocean, someone may not have had a "Frame of Reference." Given a Priest was taking confessions, he may have had "Frame of Reference."

To perceive or understand certain things well, unless God just gave someone a vision, they may have needed a Frame of Reference.

Taking this out of the context of a Pastor-Priest, what I received from God, God showed me was meant to be the ultimate in intimacy between a husband and his wife. Some occult type worked to corrupt that.

Bible Concordance: Kings Bible Concordance - cleave

Man is meek before God. A wife meek before her husband. There is a relationship here. Someone may learn things about God and creation and intelligent design in their marriage given they are doing right. What is the wrong way? There may have been a few wrong ways, but listening to Marxist, Christ denying, Betty Friedan, Third Wave Feminism was the wrong answer. That gets into more of a Lilith Spirit. Given someone had Third Wave Feminism in their marriage they may have missed the part where a couple may be able to grow in faith and understanding in their marriage.

Question: How is what you describe as Gnosis different than the Gnostic Gnosis?

A Gnostic, like the Gnostic Church, may have been after knowledge for knowledge's sake. Before Christ, there may have been some pagan practices around this that were dressed up in Christianity after Christ. They are not Christianity.

Jesus said unto him, “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life; no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me.

Growing in Faith, a relationship with God, Jesus shared the Father with me. My direction or motivation was serving God, and working to build The Kingdom of God.

Someone who opened their third eye through New Age or Other Mysticism may have felt like they received a lot. They may have felt enlightened. That was them experiencing The Spiritual. Someone growing in Faith with God is become one mind with God.

Question: What constitutes an Act of Fortitude? How mentally tough may someone need to be?

It may depend on the person, and God's plan for said person. The answers may have already been in a Church history coming from men who served God. Christians are to joyful endure their trials. (James 1:2-4)

General Acts of Fortitude In History:
  • Fasting
  • Going on long arduous journeys.
  • Wearing hair shirts.
  • The Friends of God from Germany, who survived War, Famine, and Plague, believed in Bible Study and seeking God through the rigors of daily life. Radical Christians: Friends of God Movement
  • Running and athletics may help. More so things that build endurance and mental toughness. Fortitude.
I was a college athlete, and was in the US Army. In my late 20's I ended up very depressed for about five years to the point of waking up hoping to die everyday. My enduring through, and not quitting through some hard things, prepared me for trials I had later. The depression went away. I had God. Life has been pretty good. I have endured some things engaging in Spiritual Warfare. It took mental toughness.

Young man was 22 years old. He did some power lifting. He was 240 pounds of muscle. He may have looked a man by his muscles, but he went through an extended adolescence, and inside he was still fifteen or so, and it showed on his face. He had not been going through the right trials.

What is Spiritual Warfare?

We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.

Part of Spiritual Warfare has been a war of words or a war of thoughts. A Philosopher or Theologian who was in the occult or an atheist or both, may have been engaging in spiritual warfare working to shape how people perceive themselves and perceive God. The words Homophobe and Islamophobe seemed to have both come from the same place, and they have been words that have been used to pigeonhole, sideline Christians, or browbeat Christians. Those are words coming from Secular Humanists where they have seemed to be in an unholy alliance with Islam. That would be an example of Spiritual Warfare, a War of Words, a War of Thoughts.

There are layers to the Spiritual. On another layer, someone may have grown in Faith. Walking around, he may have had "Snake Bites." Uncharacteristic thoughts that came from the outside. Not thoughts that are his, or from God, they are from the outside. He shakes them off like a woman shaking out her hair. We just shake them off. The Spiritual may have had a lot to do with thoughts and ideas.

  • God hardened Pharaoh's Heart. (Exodus 9:12)
  • God took away The King of Babylon's Sanity. (Daniel 4:33)
  • "'By what means?' the LORD asked. "'I will go out and be a deceiving spirit in the mouths of all his prophets,' he said. "'You will succeed in enticing him,' said the LORD. 'Go and do it.' (1 Kings 22:22)
The Spiritual has had a lot to do with thoughts. How does someone perceive God? God is Awesome. How does someone perceive themselves? The meek before God shall inherit the Earth. King David was meek before God. He was not meek before the enemies of God.

Given it was not in God's plan for someone to deal in a lot of spiritual warfare, they may not have had to be quite as hard as me. No one has to be me. Its ok.
