Catholic Doctrine, Catholic Teaching that is Tested, not found in Scriptures, is nothing to Hold fast to.

Another false claim backed up by no evidence.
And before you say you gave scriptural evidence, the scripture you gave does not back up that claim.

LOL...seriously ...
You expect what is NOT IN Scripture to be proved to you that it is NOT in Scripture...?

LOL...

No, of course not. I didn't ask that.

You didn't ask anything.
You made a statement.
You said it was false, "that" Catholic Doctrine and teaching, tested and not found in Scriptures, is nothing to hold fast to.

Got it...you believe Catholic Doctrine and teaching not found in Scripture IS something to Hold fast to...

So what? I disagree.

I choose what Scripture says to Hold fast to.

Of course we hold fast to what scripture says. But scripture does not say that everything that we should hold fast to is in scripture.

1Thess 5:21 says hold fast to what is good, not hold fast only to what is in scripture.

C'mon, I don't look at all like Uma Thurman!

I KNOW men teach things that are CONTRARY to Scripture.

Glory to God,
Taken
Thank you....word game Taken,

Now you have me intrigued. Uma Thurman...I don’t get the connection?

You are fun at word games. I suggest you know what other men are teaching falsely about the Bible. You defend yourself by saying you KNOW men teach things that are CONTRARY to Scripture.

IT’S THE SAME THING.....JUST DIFFERENT WORDS.

So PLEASE start a blog or write a book and let ALL of us KNOW what is being taught that is CONTRARY to Scripture....OR...IN OTHER WORDS.....what men are teaching falsely about the Bible.

For the opportunity for others to reveal their "standing".

You should have asked...instead of making a false statement FOR me.

I NEVER said anything about "interpretation".
I NEVER said "everyone else" is Wrong.

I am quite capable of speaking for myself.
You SHOULD be somewhat smart enough to know, I do not agree with you.
Are you not smart enough to know, your qualifications for Speaking FOR me are dim at best?
Hi Taken,

Thank you for your time. I finally have you figured out.

Scripture reveals what IS Good.
* Idolatry is never taught IS Good.
* Praying to DEAD people is never taught IS Good.
* Claiming Human bodies went up the Heaven is never taught IS Good.
* Claiming A Human is an Intercessory TO God IS never taught IS Good.
The list goes on of what Catholics have claimed...that is never taught IS Good.

Uma Thurman played a movie part in which her name was Kiddo.

Mary, you are Catholic, correct?

Do you believe in Mary's assumption?

What do you believe Mary's Assumption means?

You guys are like a dog with bone. The Catholics have beliefs that are an accumulation of events over 2000 years. Are you jealous because you do not have that. "Hey we know everything because we are the newest Christians!" Makes no since! There is a condemning nature that can be seen in everything you guys have said. But why aim it at the largest and oldest
Christian Church in the world? It is a hatred for Catholics not just condemnation. You are not defending the truth or you would condemn some of the Protestant denominations that are satanic. Why? Why are you not condemning satanic behavior in some of the Protestant denominations?
It is not a hatred of Catholics at all. And it is not about how Catholics behave. The only acidic, acrimonious ones, are the one or two I have experienced on the forum. The ones I know personally are decent people who have never done me any harm.

No. What I am opposed to is the idolatrous worship of Mary, and the treatment of her as the Queen of Heaven, which is a direct incarnation of the pagan Queen of Heaven which God totally condemns in Jeremiah 4. This doctrine, which is an abomination to God, robs good people of a true faith and substitutes a fraudulent one, deceiving them that they are members of the true Church, when in fact it became corrupted by the sixth century, and has been the cause of the deaths of millions of faithful Christian believers who would not worship Mary or accept the usurped authority of successive popes who not only took over the Church but called the shots for the governments of the time and made denial of Mary worship, owning a Bible, holding to Sola Scriptural a capital offence punishable by burning, or just wholesale massacre of whole cities.

I don't hate Catholics. I hate any system that robs people of true faith in Christ and substitutes false doctrine and then kills people for not subscribing to it. I also hate seeing good people going to hell because they are 'backing the wrong horse'. Therefore, I feel that I would not be faithful to the God of the Bible to be forthright in my warning to flee from the wrath that will come on all those who practice idolatry, paganised worship, spiritual abuse and bullying, false doctrine, false hope, preaching a false gospel.

You say that I should say the same about Protestant denominations. If you saw my posts on Christianforums.com you will see that I am just as "out there" against false Cessationist doctrine, prosperity teaching, guaranteed healing. And I have been called a liar, ignorant, friend of Satan there as well - by Evangelical Protestants!

I have a Charismatic background, and I have expressed my opposition to wacky kundalini out of control behaviour, pagan mind control techniques involved in the "Power of Positive Thinking" name it and claim it, "new" revelation teaching, voices in the head, appearances of demons pretending to be Jesus, or angels, and false "prophecy for the nation". So, don't worry, I have been very clear that such people will also come off second best in the Judgment, along with all who are deceived by these false teachers.

So, the Catholic worship of Mary is just small fry compared to the other false teaching in the very movement that I was associated with for the first 12 years of my Christian life. I walked out of the Charismatic movement because of the gossiping, spiritual abuse, and false "shepherding movement" teaching that had invaded that church.

I will not apologise for being Sola Scriptura, and roundly opposing anything that I see is not consistent with the Bible. If God hasn't said it in the 66 books of the Bible, then God hasn't said it at all. It is the invention of man.

One day when you stand before God on the day of judgment you will have to explain all your lies about the Catholic Church.

And you haven't responded to my post #1166. But then you seem to think you do not have to justify anything you claim. Your word is enough.
Here is the truth:
Mary did not remain a virgin after Jesus was born.
She had other male and female children.
She received Jesus as Saviour like everyone else.
She got filled with the Spirit on the day of Pentecost and praised God in tongues along with the others.
She did not magically restore her virginity.
She was not taken to heaven, but died like anyone else.
She is in the grave awaiting the resurrection of believers along with all those who have died in Christ.
She has not replaced Jesus as our sole advocate to God.
She is not in heaven reigning as Queen of Heaven.
Bowing, kneeling, and worshiping her statues is idolatry and is a abomination to God and is a direct violation of the 2nd Commandment.
Appearances of Mary are demons pretending to be Mary to deceive the people away from true faith in Christ. And the appearances of her as a European woman are how people perceive of her in their imaginations and nothing like the real person.

That is the truth, whether you like it or not.

Ahhh, yes, changing the subject again.
The last refuge of the truly desperate.

In other words - you don't have ANY proof for your false claims.
That's what I thought . . .
The final proof will be when we all die and stand as individuals alone before God's judgment throne.

As I exposed your one of fellow anti-Catholics in my last post . . .

Is this "idolatry"??

How 'bout this . . .

Your ignorance is almost as despicable as your dishonesty.
ALMOST . . .
Yes. Speaking to the dead is the same as praying to a demonic impostor posing as Mary Queen of Heaven.

Hi Paul,

I have studied this many times and can’t figure it out to be 100% sure about it. Can you give me the names of Mary’s children?

Willing to learn...Mary

Google "Worship of Mary" and you will see hundreds of images of people kneeling and worshiping statues of Mary. The evidence is right before your eyes. A statue is a graven image, and God said very clearly that we are not to make graven images, bow down and worship them, otherwise those who do will be punished in this life and the next.
