Cyrus To Be In God's Righteousness

Ezra 1:7 Also Cyrus the king brought forth the vessels of the house of the LORD, which Nebuchadnezzar had brought forth out of Jerusalem, and had put them in the house of his gods; Isa 44:28 That saith of Cyrus, He is my shepherd, and shall perform all my pleasure: even saying to Jerusalem, Thou shalt be built; and to the temple, Thy foundation shall be laid. Isa 45:1 Thus saith the LORD to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have holden, to subdue nations before him; and I will loose the loins of kings, to open before him the two leaved gates; and the gates shall not be shut; Isa 45:2 I will go before you and will level the mountains; I will break down gates of bronze and cut through bars of Iron. Isa 45:3 I will give you the treasures of darkness, riches stored in secret places, so that you may know that I am the Lord, the God of Israel, who summons you BY NAME Isa 45:4 For the sake of Jacob my servant, of Israel, my chosen, I SUMMON YOU BY NAME AND BESTOW ON YOU A TITLE OF HONOR, though you do NOT ACKNOWLEDGE ME. Isa 45:5 I am the Lord, and there is no other; apart from me there is no God. I will strengthen you, though you have NOT acknowledged me. Isa 45:12-13 It is I who made the earth and created mankind upon it My own hands stretched out the heavens; I marshaled their starry hosts.Isa 45:13 I WILL RAISE UP CYRUS IN MY RIGHTEOUSNESS; I WILL MAKE ALL HIS WAYS STRAIGHT,, He will REBUILD my city and set my exiles free, BUT NOT FOR A PRICE OR REWARD, SAYS THE LORD ALMIGHTY. What a beautiful truth God had Isaiah write to show us about the Love God has for those that honor him, INCLUDING THOSE WE CALL THE ENEMY. Whether they are his servants called and faithful, or whether they are the enemy sent by God to punish His people. Jesus wrote this that we should follow. After reading about Cyrus I understand Jesus' words better. Matthew 5:43 Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy. 44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;45 That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust. 46 For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same? 47 And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so? 48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.Seeing that Jesus has commanded us to love our enemies, treat them with love, this has opened for me a greater insight the need to respect all man kind. Even if they are considered the enemy. Jesus said he was sending the tribulation through the Seed of Ishmael, let us honor God and trust Jesus through it. For it is God's place to bring vengeance, not ours.__________________
