Everything must be fulfiled

2 Thessalonians 2:1-12 Now about the Return of our Lord Jesus Christ, when He is to gather us to Himself: I beg you, my friends, do not suddenly allow yourselves to be fooled by wrong teaching, or become alarmed by any so called prophetic utterance, alleging that the great Day of His Return has already come.

Let no one deceive you in any way, for that Day cannot come before the final rebellion against God, when evil will be revealed in human form by the man doomed to destruction. He is the adversary who promotes himself above every so-called god or object of worship and even enthrones himself in God’s Temple, claiming to be God. But the restraining power of the Holy Spirit ensures that he will be revealed only at the appointed time, because already the secret forces of wickedness are at work, secret only for now until the restraining Hand is removed. Then he will be exposed, the great deceiver of the ages, the one who the Lord Jesus will destroy with the breath of His mouth and annihilate by the radiance of His presence.

This appearance of the wicked one is the work of Satan, it will be attended by all the powerful signs and miracles that falsehood can devise, all the deception that sinfulness can impose onto those doomed to destruction. All those people who refused to open their minds to the truth and so find salvation. Because they did not love truth or seek salvation, God has put them under a compelling delusion, which makes them believe what is false. Therefore, all who refuse to believe the truth, but have made sinfulness their choice will be brought to judgement.

‘The Return of Jesus’, The Return in glory, to commence His Millennium reign. Matthew 24:30, Revelation 19:11

‘That Day cannot come…’ The Return will not come until all the happenings prophesied to occur before that Day are fulfilled. Such as the Seal, Trumpet and Bowl punishments of Revelation, commencing in our time with the next event of a terrible fire judgement; the Sixth seal. Isaiah 66:15-16, Zephaniah 3:8

‘The Adversary’, - That is: Satan, he empowers the Anti-Christ, who will be the leader of the forthcoming One World Government. He makes a peace treaty with New Israel, [Beulah – Isaiah 62:1-5] as those who gather in the holy Land will not be part of that worldwide government. Daniel 9:27

‘God’s Temple’, The Third Temple, to be built by the new inhabitants of Jerusalem. Zechariah 6:15 It will be ‘a Temple of greater splendor than Solomon’s’. Haggai 2:9, Ezekiel 43:4

‘a compelling delusion’, Romans 11:8. ‘Eyes that look, but cannot see – ears that hear, but cannot listen’, Deuteronomy 29:4, Matthew 13:14 This applies to those who ‘confuse themselves’, Isaiah 29:9-10, ‘you will stay confused’. That is: by believing false teachings, such as the pre tribulation rapture. Jeremiah 29:8-9, Zechariah 13:2

‘Brought to Judgement’, There are three judgements: Next: the judgement/ punishment of the nations, the Sixth Seal world changer. Then: at the Return, the destruction of Anti-Christ’s army and the separation of the ‘sheep and the goat nations’. After 1000 years comes the final Judgement of all peoples at the Great White Throne. Revelation 20:11-14

Does the Sixth Seal of Revelation 6:12-17, happen at the Return of Jesus?

Revelation 7:1-3 After that, [the Sixth seal] I saw four angels holding back the winds. Another angel called to them: Do not punish the earth further until the mark of God is set upon His servants.
If you think that the Sixth Seal happens at the Return, then what are the further punishments referring to? They are obviously the next sequence: the Great Tribulation Trumpet and Bowl punishments.

Isaiah 64:1-11 [Before the Lord’s Day of vengeance and wrath.] Why, Lord do You not tear asunder the heavens and cause the mountains to shake, fires to blaze and water to boil, then Your Name would be known and nations would tremble before You. Lord, look upon Your people, those who strive to do right, do not be angry beyond measure. Isaiah 34:2-4

After the Lord’s Day of vengeance and wrath.
You surprised us with awesome things, when You acted the mountains shook.
Now, Your Holy city is ruined and burned by fire, all of Zion is a desolation, all that we treasured has been destroyed. Jeremiah 9:9-11

Although Jerusalem has been destroyed before, there has never been a destruction as described, in fact as virtually all the buildings are built of stone, it will require an extreme event to fulfil these prophecies. Why would the Lord destroy the whole country, including the Third Temple at His Return?



1 Thess. 5:1-3...you know the Day of the Lord will come as a thief. While they are saying: All is peaceful, all secure, suddenly destruction is upon them and there will be no escape. Isaiah 47:8-11, Jeremiah 25:32-33

‘come as a thief’ - The unexpected Day of the Lord is not and cannot be the Return of Jesus in His glory. The date of the Return will not be unknown to anyone who knows Bible prophecy, as we are told in Daniel 12:7, Revelation 12:6 - from the day the Anti Christ desecrates the new Temple, till the Return will be 1260 days.

‘while they’ - The enemies of God.

‘all is peaceful’ - NOT how it will be just prior to Jesus Return.
Most of the world at present, is relatively peaceful, even the Middle East has only localized trouble spots. All the M.E. countries will support Iran and then..

‘sudden destruction is upon them’- The terrible judgement by fire, prophesied over 100 times throughout the Bible. Deuteronomy 32:22


Luke 22:34-36 Be on your guard, do not let your minds be dulled by worldly cares, so that the great Day catches you by surprise, like a trap, for that Day will come upon everyone the whole world over. Be alert and pray for strength to pass safely through all that is coming and to be able to stand before Jesus. [At His Return, later.]

‘pass safely through’- Not ‘escape all these things’, as some translations have it and this leads to the false idea of the ‘rapture’.

Psalms 56:8-13 Lord, You note our grief, our tears are recorded. You will repulse our enemies on the Day that we call to You. Lord, we are Your people, bound to You by our Covenant, you will rescue us from death, in Your power we will walk in the light of life. Psalms 18:28


In the first Exodus of the Israelites, they were tasked to conquer and destroy the heathen occupiers of the holy Land. They failed to completely clear the Land, Judges 1:19-36, but the Lord used their successes and failures as lessons for them and us, 1 Corinthians 10:11, but because of their sins, the Lord used other nations to conquer and exile them. Now, Judah is back, but in unbelief and they will be judged along with all the attackers of Israel. Amos 1 & 2:1-6

It will not be like that again for the great Exodus of the faithful Christian Israelites, Galatians 3:26-29 & 6:14-16, as they gather and settle into their heritage of all the holy Land. Psalms 60:1-5
There will not be any ungodly people left surrounding the new nation of Beulah, Isaiah 62:1-5, because the Lord Himself will ‘bring our enemies low’. Amos 5:9, Isaiah 34:2

Many prophecies say how all of that area promised to Abraham, so long ago, will be cleared and cleansed by a ‘Day of terror and disaster’, and all those ‘evil neighbors’, Jeremiah 12:14, will be gone. Then, ‘by the Lords wrath, He will bring His people out from the nations’ Ezekiel 20:33-38, Ezekiel 34:11-31 and ‘in the Lord’s power, we will walk in the Light of Life’. Isaiah 9:2-3

God be exalted above the heavens, let Your glory be over all the earth.

Psalm 50:1-6 The Lord has spoken and summoned all of His people in the world for judgement. Gather to Me, My loyal servants, all who by sacrifice have made a covenant with Me.

Isaiah 65:9 I shall give descendants to Jacob [all Israel] and to Judah, heirs who will possess My Land. My chosen ones will inherit it and those who serve Me will live there. WE Christians are the chosen people of God. John 15:14-19

These verses say how the Lord will act “on the Day He saves His people”. This must all occur more than seven years before the Return of Jesus, before the rise of the AC. and the Great Tribulation.

Zechariah says: how both Judah: the Jews, and Israel: all the Christian peoples, will prevail over their enemies. They will be protected, for they are His “precious flock”.

Joel says: The Lord will judge the nations for their past actions against Israel.

Isaiah says: There will be a C.M.E. event. [Coronal Mass Ejection – from the sun] The Lord will protect Zion – like a hovering bird. His people will rejoice. Isaiah 32:15-20

Ezekiel says: The neighbors of Israel will be judged and punished. After that, His people, righteous Israel, will gather and settle in the Land. They will be a “light to the nations”.

Jeremiah says: Judah and Israel will be cleansed of their sins and will join together to live in peace and security in the Land.

Nahum says: The Lord will take vengeance on His enemies…His rage is poured out like fire.

Malachi says: Elijah will proclaim the good news. Keep faithful and the Lord will protect His people.

Isaiah says: My chosen people will inherit the Land.

Psalms 50: The Lord will gather His loyal servants. All those who believe in Him, keep the Commandments and have accepted the Atoning sacrifice of Jesus.

Paul says: Acts 26:6-7 This is the hope, based on the Promise made to our forefathers.... the 12 tribes, [all of the people of God] pray fervently to see that fulfilment.
