Imagine!.

But Mr. Trump also failed America by asking those frauds Fauci and Birx to take charge of his Task Force. Amazing how STUPID Western politicians have become.

Enoch I was talking about my own freedom and liberty , which is not different to the freedom and liberty historyB was talking about, the freedoms and liberties affected by the lockdowns ....... so my response was linked to that.
‘ Founded in order to maintain liberty and freedom ‘ .......at what cost to others losing their freedoms and liberties ...........it’s funny how American history is often seen through rose coloured glasses !!
I don’t view the UK through the same glasses, we have made some big mistakes - and our history is awful, and yes we have faced the consequences - but the USA is not perfect , no country is.

Don’t know whether this will help, the verse in my reading this morning was from Micah 6:8
‘ He has shown you, oh man, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you ?
To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly...with your God ‘

I decided to look at the verse in context... in verse 3 ‘ My people ,what have I done to you ?
How have I burdened you ........

The Lord goes on to remind them what he has done for them, redeemed and rescued them .....
( always good to remember what the Lord has already brought us through as individuals )

Their defence in verses 6-7 seems to be about the sacrifices, the atonement, ect ( what about my acts of worship, the sacraments ect ...........( in other words, we’ve done our bit )

Then the first I mentioned first ..........the people of Israel had missed the point of what was truly important to the Lord, how we treat people, how we forgive and have compassion, and how we should ‘ walk with God ‘ ( stay close )

I then had a thought about Paul in prison, he was unjustly locked away and had all his freedom taken from him by ruthless leaders- and yet, he came to learn to be content in all circumstances, not because he agreed with them, but he trusted the Lord through those experiences ...........

I know that things are not easy for any of us right now, and the impact of these days will be different, the Lord may have a whole range of ways he will use it all within our lives, and we may be called in different ways to respond ....... but Romans 8:28 is a solid verse, and also proverbs 3:5-6.

There are so many speculations, so many voices adding to the mix right now - whether it be other Christians, news, politicians ect - well The Lord is the only one that truly knows what is going on , why it is happening, and what will ultimately be the reasons .......... I know who I would prefer to trust xx

I will mention though the only thing that annoys me about this lock down is fishing is still banned haha, casting the line into the river is so relaxing and helps me forget about everything going on in this world, there's just a calmness about casting a line into the water.

I can relate Josho,
I worked for a long time and once I stopped, depression which turned into despair came upon me so strong...I felt purposeless, useless. Didn't realize how much of my social life WAS work! Two years trying to self medicate into numbness and only one day on my face before The Lord to SEE...it was my best day with our Creator I've ever had!

Now, why would they ban fishing??!!! Not always 6Ft. from them?? DOH! that just seems silly as the fisherfolk are just as able to stay way more than 6ft from one another, especially if in a boat. In my book, stuff like that ARE essential, essential to our sanity! Ha!

I have a few friends only because of a place I volunteer at but, not so much the Church I attend
I pray for lifted spirits for you brother.

Most of us are in isolation too.
As I read Paul's epistle in everything he says , he tells us to overcome the odds by praising God.
If you spent lots of time in worship, listening to good uplifting Cd's ect you wouldn't feel so sorry for yourself.

You are so correct @Rita , a huge majority of Americans embarrass me. The greed, the selfishness, the instant everything! And this over the top arrogance with the "We are the GREATEST Country" truly turns my stomach. This nation will be judged very harshly and I agree it should. Without Christians on their knees, my guess is His judgement would be quicker and more harsh...just my thoughts. God bless and keep you all.
Hey, I have an idea! Why doesn't someone who is good at exagating scripture toss out a verse and all of us can exegate it! Then, when we are done...that someone who is good at exagating can tell us where we might have missed a step or two? I want homework, and I want it NOW!!!! Hahaha...J/k!

Hang in there brother. I put this on CF yesterday. I havent vented online in awhile, but.sometimes sharing our burdens helps us better pray for each other.

My little rant:

Okay. I have to say it. If I don't get back to work pretty soon, I think this 2 year old tot is going to drive me crazy. I love her to death, but when your husband works thirds for 12 hours, so has to sleep 8 hours during the day, and with the stay at home order and limited staff needed at the preschool I work at, it is just extremely difficult. I'm just with my daughter at home 18 out of a 24 hour day on his 5 day work week. His other week is only two nights, but it really messes up his sleep schedule. Plus, I am six months pregnant with a little boy, and am having church online and not getting to get out to the park for my daughter or other little blessings like seeing our friends and having play dates....I was a stay at home mom before with my daughter, but I didn't realize how we were always out and about. At home, my daughter is cranky, I am cranky...lol. And well, I just had to tell complete strangers about it, and maybe some who have just been online friends here, because I don't go on facebook and air out all my dirty laundry. Lol.

It is just a little different when you are staying at home, and really don't care to talk on the phone or zoom.

But this sure felt good just to get out there. Any other stay at home order moms right now with this covid thing going on?

Definitely a nice little prayer session/support session would be nice.

Yeh, Ive been a little bit anxious/depressed. My blood pressure was elevated for a few days, but Ive been feeling better. Hormones and world pandemics and end stuff times is not easy to cope with, but the Lord is our strength.

Being as I am blessed enough to not have your burdens, I can only imagine. So, prayer for His peace, strength and strong faith is in order for you I would think. Let's all be Warriors of The Cross for one another, lift each other in prayer always!

Addressing the OP only, why Depressed" FYI, mine and everyone's right in this world has been "Taken Away", let me say it again, "been taken away". you just have a carrot on a stick in front of you to keep you thinking that you have some freedom. nor do you own anything? stop paying taxes and see what happen to you a. you home taken because of Property taxes not paid, b. you cars and clothes, if one miss filling tax return(s), penalties and plus intrest. we're only in borrow or on loan for a short time. we own NOTHING. now, buy land, you don't even own the minerals rights any more. we're just live to keep the system going.

(but on the bright side, the Good news), John 17:15 "I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.

John 17:17 "Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.

so stay busy in God's holy word, "And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God". Romans 12:2. while doing those things, 2 Peter 1:4 "Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust".

seek ye "first" the Kingdom, but not just only the Kingdom, just first. for we're still in this world. find and prove that which is good. you have a mind... (simel) use it. new discoveries are waiting for you.
