Okay, here's a verse I remember sometimes if things are getting to me.

Revelation 3:11 Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.
Thanks....I had never noticed the crown until a couple of months ago....funny how some things just don't catch on at first.

It angers me because of the people it hurts....and the deaths it causes.

My daughter got angry, seeing all these patients she could not help. All her training and the teams knowledge could not stop the dying. For someone used to having hope, an answer, something that for a reasonable situation could give a good outcome, this was difficult.

Now me personally, one death is difficult to face, to see tragedy, and occasionally bring hope in trauma is not what I can cope with. My daughter loves to be a shinning light of positive influence, to help, to uplift and turn things around. But this situation made her angry.

But angry at who? In general people are trying, restructuring, putting in place a war footing against a real threat.
Other impacts like inflation, businesses, our life structure, are on hold as in any war. But this war is one of science and knowledge, of statistics and trust. And at the moment it is being fought well, and everyone in general is going along, without martial law. This demonstrates the power of education, of good communication, of us working together as a society. And to this I say Amen.

In a war you cannot go where you want, to what you want, meet as you want. But we meet as we can on zoom, in meetings and praise, and prayer.
It is a great thing to see working from a distance, remote access has how happened, the switch to a new kind of living has happened.

We have dropped our use of oil, pollution has reduced and we are finding different ways of interacting. The internet has made this possible. So what is seen as a problem may become something of a solution which is a long time needed. Community help, reaching out to one another, helping when there is a need. God bless you

When it comes from Fauci, does it surprise anyone that 'there will be a surprise outbreak'?
No, it should not surprise anyone that Fauci and his gang of conspirators will manufacture another outbreak. These guys have been playing around with dynamite for years under the noses of everyone. What is really surprising is that Mr. Trump has not fired Fauci weeks ago, and spoken out against this conspiracy. That is disturbing.

How do we know that there was actually a Chinese/WHO conspiracy to prevent the truth from coming out? Taiwan has exposed this as reported on March 21, 2020. But their warnings to WHO must have gone out much earlier.

Taiwan: We Tried Warning WHO About the Wuhan Coronavirus

According to Taiwan, the World Health Organization could have prevented the Wuhan coronavirus from becoming a pandemic had the organization listened to their early warnings. Taiwanese officials said WHO's failure to act early on has to do with its close ties to Chinese leadership, the Daily Caller reported.

Taiwanese health officials alerted WHO about the Wuhan coronavirus' transmission between humans back in December but the organization failed to alert countries around the world.

One of Taiwan's chief complaints is centered around the International Health Regulations (IHR)'s reporting website, which was established so countries around the world could share data about pandemics.

“While the IHR’s internal website provides a platform for all countries to share information on the epidemic and their response, none of the information shared by our country’s [Centers for Disease Control] is being put up there,” Taiwanese Vice President Chen Chien-Jen told the Financial Times. “The WHO could not obtain first-hand information to study and judge whether there was human-to-human transmission of COVID-10. This led it to announce human-to-human transmission with a delay, and an opportunity to raise the alert level both in China and the wider world was lost."

Despite knowing what they did, the WHO continued to push communist China's talking points, including the blatantly false claim that the virus is not spread through human-to-human transmission. This is something we know is the case, which is why the CDC has suggested people practice "social distancing" as much as possible. A few weeks later the WHO said it was unnecessary to restrict international air travel, which is what turned the Wuhan coronavirus epidemic into a pandemic.

Even though Taiwan tried to prevent the spread to other countries by warning the WHO, the country is being punished because they question China and their tactics. In fact, Taiwan hasn't had a place at the international table since 2016, particularly at the World Health Assembly, because of Chinese pressure.

As Matt pointed out, Tawain isn't that far from China yet the country has sustained very few cases. As of now, the country has 153 cases and all of them are occurring because of international travel, Reuters reported.

Taiwan Slams the WHO Over the Wuhan Coronavirus

What puzzles me is why Taiwan's President did not contact President Trump immediately and ask him to take swift and appropriate action. In any event, WHO did put out a global health emergency announcement on January 30, 2020 (regardless of all their shenanigans). Trump should have acted immediately to ban all travel to North America right then.

We also learn from conservative news sources that the UK was totally unprepared for any pandemic, and is only now insisting on quarantining international travelers.

Anger is the emotion we feel when we believe that being rational won't work. We're tempted to smash things, to insult people, etc. Generally speaking, anger make things worse not better. We may become like what we detest.

Getting angry about people being hurt or deaths is not solving anything. It's just an emotion -- and an emotion that can harm you without doing a lick of good for anyone else. Yes, I sometimes feel anger and sorrow -- but I try not to not allow them to govern me. I do my best not to let it "out." Ha, we don't explode if we're angry and don't show it. We may feel like we'll explode, but we won't.
Plenty of trouble is caused by a short fuse.

Apparently the repulsive Dr Goebbels thought Hitler was wonderfully inspired and creative when Hitler had his 'anger moments'. (Mrs. Goebbels poisoned her children because she could not bear to think of them living in a world without Hitler.)

(And so it goes...)

Sometimes (much more often, lately), it seems like Christians intentionally question everything good (vaccines, education, science, medicine, infrastructure, law); yeah, I get it - you guys love to believe that you are soldiers in God’s army, battling against the Devil by tearing down society, but have you really considered the consequences?

Are you really prepared to live in caves, eating freeze-dried food and cave-schooling your children - well, the ones who survive childhood diseases without vaccines? Are you ready to spend your time killing your neighbors who are stealing your last few possessions and your food?

You guys have no problem with people who hoard money, but any billionaire who actually gives away their money must have an ulterior motive and, of course, be one of Satan’s agents.

If you could only see yourselves from a distance, you would shudder at how nutty and morally backwards your conspiracies are!

Speaking of nutty, please do not inject household cleaners into your body to combat covid19 - I know, your dear leader likes to pretend he knows more than all those uppity-pencil neck-geeklings with all them da-grees and edu-ma-kation, but, like chloroquine and hydroxychloroquine, they make things worse and will probably kill you.

Oh, and since warnings against behavior are solid guarantees for you all to do the opposite, please tell someone about your plan and have access to medical care after, it could save your life.

Two things: firstly...just because someone homeschools, does not mean they are cave-dwelling morons. Thank you.
Second, I find it rather astounding the number of people who just nod their heads in shock and outrage at what the media touts about...well...anything. Trump may, or may not, be a buffoon. But he's potentially a well-staffed buffoon surrounded by those who are placed to give him up-to-date information. But, of course, every journalist knows best, they're experts in everything!

True, but we will be forced to homeschool without public schools or even an infrastructure, which was my point, Naomi.

You all can get offended if you want, and question my Christianity; the fact is, Christian culture in this country is toxic right now and instead of turning to the long tradition of scholarship within our history, we seem to be satisfied circling the drain of conspiracy theories, while we are dumped by carnies and inverted ways of interacting with our neighbors.

Sorry some are insulted, but we can’t continue to act this way and expect to make through the end times, no matter how they play out.

So do you think the government should be able to regulate what's allowed and what isn't here? Or should it be a free-for-all no restrictions on free speech? If YouTube and Facebook don't have the right to censor as they see fit, why should this site?
Trying to compare a christian site to open social networking sites is a mistake.

YouTube was mentioned earlier. I think the woman in this story should sue them for allowing stories about her on their platform although a lawyer told her there was little to be done. Her life is being threatened. I think too maybe a good lawyer could help her sue the Chinese social media companies that are spreading rumors that endanger her life. If you aren't allowed to yell fire in a theater because it endangers lives, people should not be allowed to post false rumors like this on YouTube.

Exclusive: She's been falsely accused of starting the coronavirus. Her life has been turned upside down - CNN

Maatje Benassi, a US Army reservist and mother of two, has become the target of conspiracy theorists who falsely place her at the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic, saying she brought the disease to China.

The false claims are spreading across YouTube every day, so far racking up hundreds of thousands of apparent views, and have been embraced by Chinese Communist Party media. Despite never having tested positive for the coronavirus or experienced symptoms, Benassi and her husband are now subjects of discussion on Chinese social media about the outbreak, including among accounts that are known drivers of large-scale coordinated activities by their followers.

The claims have turned their lives upside down. The couple say their home address has been posted online and that, before they shut down their accounts, their social media inboxes were overrun with messages from believers of the conspiracy.
"It's like waking up from a bad dream going into a nightmare day after day," Maatje Benassi told CNN Business in an exclusive interview, the first time she has spoken publicly since being smeared online. . . .

Matt has tried to get the videos taken down from YouTube and to prevent their spread online. The couple said they contacted an attorney, who told them there was little that could be done, and local police, who told them much the same.

So if you call your business is a Christian one, you should get special rights? Somehow that doesn't seem in line with the Golden Rule to me.

.

Where does this line of thinking come from?

This is not even a proposal or thought. All governors and the president are doing what they can to get people back to public school SAFELY

Not tryign to shut them down. That would take even more workers from the economy and Take our education, which is already prety poor. and make it even worse. Putting us even further behind.

Sure. The national debt is now bigger than the annual gross national product. The government was spending like drunken sailors before the virus struck. Although revenues hit a high, the spending increased even faster.

Now we have state and city governments saying they can't manage on their own. They all have their hands out asking the federal government for money. Companies had so little in savings that they say they can't survive without government money -- big companies. Everyone wants something from Washington, and Washington is going along with it -- spending more money, money they don't have, and thus diminishing the role of state and local governments.

Allegedly we live in a capitalist system with supply and demand; but we see hospitals were unprepared. States were. When the capitalist system broke down, the government got bigger -- and now is responsible for what drugs hospitals have and how many respirators. Trump gets blamed if they don't get those drugs and ventilators -- when it wasn't his job in the first place.

The unemployment offices in the states are in a wreck. They never saved up money for a rainy day. Now they're going broke, and the federal government is going to bail them out. The federal government seems to be taking over everything.

Facebook and YouTube have "terms of service" just as this site has. They are corporations, not public entities, so they have the right to decide what they allow.

Would you be in favor of allowing radical Muslim terrorists to have their own websites and post materials in favor of violence? Should a terrorist organization have the right to encourage people to overthrow the government or assassinate the President on a "private" site?

We are at war, that happens when your at war. Look at the history books.

Of course hospitals were unprepared. But you want to blame that on Tump?

Socialistic and liberal thinking is what makes the govenrment big.

And now we have politics.. Politics basically puts there line on who can give them more money, (left or right) and that is who they support for the most part.

Trump is not a politician, Thats why he is hated, Because he can not be bought.. So he scares the crap out of everyone, Even people in his own party,
