Hi Christina. I read what that you posted and that is not biblical, with this claim if you believe in the resurrection you are not Christian. The basis of Salvation is to believe in the Name of Jesus as the Son of God. This statement you made about who is a Christian and who is not, throws what God has written down to the ground and you are speaking an untruth by going against that solid statement of belief in Christ for Salvation. This is what is required for the forgiveness of Sins and brings Salvation. I don't think you realize what you are saying. Don't judge if one is Christian or not, please. that is against God's command. Romans 2:1 Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things. Those who believe in the O.T called the Torah are God's children just as Christians are, if one believes the N.T that speaks on the resurrection they are Christian, if one keeps Sunday or Saturday they are Christians, only God judges them. Because you believe in going to heaven it does not make you a Christian. Believing in going to heaven or hell, or sleeping in the ground is not SALVATIONAL in any form. Your statement defining a Christian is not biblical, nor founded in the words of God. A Christian is one who believes in the Christ, that the Son of God came and died on the cross and shed his blood for those who would believe would receive eternal life. Jesus told us through Paul's writings what saves a man, and what defines a Christian. Romans 10:9 That is you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, YOU WILL BE SAVED. And we live by FAITH. This is the Christian. Romans 10:6 The righteous will live by FAITH. it has nothing to do with believing in hell, the grave, a resurrection, but rather to believe that Christ was the Son of God and died for us. Rom 10:9-13. We also have the command of the Lord's to love one another, love God, and this sums up the Law. This man's teaching is not biblical in this accusation. The Torah is simply the Old testament writing. You go to temple and they read out of the O.T, the KJV. Which speaks all about Christ from beginning to end. I will guard the truth, which God speaks to love all his children, not to judge then in a manner of saying because they read the O.T they are not Christian, or they read the Torah which is the KJV and they read from it in all synagogue's. Listen to the words of God about the body of Christ which has many parts, To refuse the words that are written in the bible and to call one not a Christian is serious. You are my sister, and so are all who profess Jesus Christ as the Son of God and believes in him and lives by faith, are the children of God. Grant it that those who believe Christ hasn't come that are Jews are still God's children. They are judged under the Law and not covered by the blood for their sins, yet they are still God's children. All of us needs to be very careful in accusations towards the Jews and the Christians. Even myself, I do not agree with the Jehovah's doctrinal teachings, but I dare not speak against them or anyone who professes Jesus Christ as the Son of God, and believes in Him. Do I let them into my home? No, but will I condemn them? Absolutely NOT, God warns us in the verses against these kinds of things. I have found the Baptist do virtually the same thing to the Churches of Christ, whom they broke off from at one time. It is wrong, they teach their people to be negative towards the other parts of the body and separates themselves by these actions. God will address this at the coming judgment and it will not be ignored. Because we all belong to God, and who are we to condemn another man's servant? which means we are not to judge any of the servants of God. God's servants are all who confess the Christ as the Son of God and believe in him. I hope you will go back to the words in your bible and look at what Christ says saves a person and the warning given to all of us who destroy any of them in any manner that God will hold accountable in his judgment. In Christ's love Vickie
