If Satan was deceiving us as the bright in morning star this deception would not be in God’s Word unless He could alter God’s Word; which is another subject. But that deception world is in the hearts and mind of those he is deceiving. Jesus is the bright and morning star and anyone who believes Satan is the bright and morning star is deceived.

It gets kinda complicated. Understanding the nature of God, will clear it up though.In Romans 1:28 a passive verb, God gave them over to a reprobate mind. God did not take action, but allowed them without intervention to have a reprobate mind. 2Th 2:11 For this reason, God will allow them to follow false teaching so they will believe a lie. 2Th 2:12 They will all be guilty as they stand before God because they wanted to do what was wrong. In the NLV the translators saw this as passive and not something God did to someone. Notwithstanding though, It is very clear these people started on a lie, they did not want the truth, and God gave them over to it.A lot of translations say God sends them a Working or Operation of Error. So they will believe the lie. So, God is enforcing what they have believed all along and how they operated their lives. Carnal man is a slave to sin; and not only does he not have a freewill or choice to receive the things of God it is his nature to totally reject all things of God and that is the way God created him. The carnal man is dead; when Adam died we all died; but Adam did not die physically the moment of the curse; he live physically until Genesis 5:5 and was 930 years old. But spiritual death happened to him and Eve; they lost that communion with the Father in heaven. I believe God’s glory slowly departed early men in Genesis that is why they live for so long. Can a dead man see, hear, smell, taste; etc. No this is double true to a spiritual dead man who cannot see, hear the things of God. A lot of our religious brothers are pretty dead too.
