Jesus says you judge his family at your own risk!!! BEWARE!!
Shame on you, you have not addressed a single contention leveled at this guy. But, continuously use your non-sequiturs to defend your position. 3 pages, and not a single viable or related argument to the criticisms at hand.

Isa 56:1, Thus saith the LORD, Keep ye judgment, and do justice: for my salvation is near to come, and my righteousness to be revealed.

Jhn 7:24, Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.

Phl 1:9, And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgment;

The Bible says lots of things, including fools don't take correction, and there is wisdom in a multitude of counselors. You should beware if you don't question things. Jesus said that even the elect can be deceived. He would have us "keep watch," because people act as if they have a handle on God's Kingdom, and yet that Kingdom has not come yet.

Your faith is not an activity of the Kingdom that has already come. It is a limited ability to carry out God's plan *before* the Kingdom comes. Do you understand the difference?
I assume that your final question was rhetorical, ...as, of course he does not understand!

How would you know what God's Word says?
Only by reading it on a daily basis.

Heb 11:6, But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

...—you want only what will give you pleasure." James 4:3b
Yes, shallow and hedonistic pleasure. If he asked for wisdom, patience and faith we could tolerate this guys requests. But how depraved and misguided to espouse such desires that he does?

Apparently not, since it did absolutely no good for GISMYS or Dupuis (assuming that they do).

What do you not understand when you read this scripture??
Romans 2:1
You therefore have no excuse, you who pass judgment on another. For on whatever grounds you judge the other, you are condemning yourself, because you who pass judgment do the same things.

Romans 14:10
Why, then, do you judge your brother? Or why do you belittle your brother? For we will all stand before God's judgment seat.

Romans 14:13
Therefore let us stop judging one another. Instead, make up your mind not to put any stumbling block or obstacle in your brother's way.

1 Corinthians 4:5
Therefore judge nothing before the appointed time; wait until the Lord comes. He will bring to light what is hidden in darkness and will expose the motives of men's hearts. At that time each will receive his praise from God.

James 4:11
Brothers, do not slander one another. Anyone who speaks against his brother or judges him speaks against the Law and judges it. And if you judge the Law, you are not a practitioner of the Law, but a judge of it.

I have been to a church like that once. They were shameless. After collecting "tithes"from the general congregation, they did it all over again with the children to "teach them how to tithe". I recall one of their pastors stating something to the effect: "God don't want to see you driving around in that old car, why, He want's to see you in a Cadillac, so folks can see how blessed you are!"
Really sad as they take advantage of many. And, these many are obviously not reading or understanding their bibles...they are not being Bereans at all, just taking the word of the talking head at the podium!

Because he didn't ask for them, is what pleased God. Comfort in life is a bonus, but not the primary goal, and God granted Solomon a brief reprieve. And as you saw, it did him no good.
Paul was content under all conditions, favourable or disfavourable, ...unlike yourself and Dupuis. Even Jesus had no place to lay his head, ...he must've lacked faith.

Yes, it's that very twisted rhetoric that deceives many. Equating wealth with a blessed life. I do believe that that was the same propaganda used to build such opulent churches in the medieval period, while many starved, '...nothing is too costly or majestic for God...'

Solomon wrote Ecclesiastes, speaking from experience and as an authority, he imparted the futility and vexation of wealth. This is why God endowed him with such luxury and ostentation, to be the living proof and witness against it.
Does your Bible not have the Book of Ecclesiastes in it?

For a time is coming when people will no longer listen to sound and wholesome teaching. They will follow their own desires and will look for teachers who will tell them whatever their itching ears want to hear. 4 They will reject the truth and chase after myths.
