Read again slowly!! Sounds like God to me===Colossians 1:16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

Colossians 1:17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.
'by him' means via him, for him, and for his purpose. The Father & Son did not share creation duties. Christ did not create himself.

ROFL! Jesse's life and prosperity are proof but you have what you use your faith to believe for.
Forgive me, it sounds like you're touting belief in Jesse Duplantis.
If what you said above is true then Jesse is also responsible for the scandals his lifestyle and behaviors have generated as regard his reputation.
Jesus and the Apostles walked everywhere they went. They never once if present today had thought to board a $54 million dollar Falcon 7X to deliver the good news.

“The very first thing on Jesus` agenda was to get rid of poverty! Would you like to know why some people, including ministries, never get out of poverty? Its not because they aren’t smart. Its not because they don’t have windows of opportunity. It's because they’re not anointed. If you’re not anointed, poverty will follow you all the days of your life. His first objective was to get rid of poverty.” Jesse Duplantis

Don't be too much of a scoffer, as God HATES those who mock. Psalms 1:1. Glean the truth about Faith and answered prayer, even if it is only taught by the Prosperity Movement. Their message is based on truth, and though it does need tweaking - basically recognizing it is the faith OF God, and not faith IN yourself that is key. But the three main things they teach that are correct that other denominations don't is:

God supernaturally answers prayer and supplies our needs.
Our words have power to bless or to curse.
Holiness.

Faith Teaching is *not* biblical, and can do serious damage to Christians and to new Christians. It is a false expectation about what God should do for you. When it doesn't happen it leads to great discouragement, and perhaps even to leave the faith.

We must always hold up the lordship of God, and ourselves as His servants. If we don't start with the cross, we will not get very far. We will pursue our own course, and be as bad as a sinner who is not submitted to the Lord.

I'm not sure what you thought was "mocking?" But it tells me you're in a defense mode.

I've been on the receiving end of this Faith Abuse, and it is indeed worthy of ridicule. I don't start out ridiculing people, but their positions. They may not know how the teaching they've received stacks up against the word of God. After all, they are getting this doctrine from ministers of the gospel.

People only deserve ridicule when they are not willing to engage the issues. Don't sell something unless you're sure about the product. And don't defend the product if it's going to poison someone.

It most certainly did poison our church and my life, for a time. And I wish to spare my brothers and sisters from the same problems. Don't be afraid to question ministers and their messages. It is a sound practice to test teaching against the word of God for yourself, and not just blindly accept with brothers and sisters tell you to believe.

Oh now I see Jesus was only spirit, or which is it. Oh wait He did say handle Me?

Jesus on earth was a man with a body, soul and spirit as all men.

Philippians 2:5-8 Christ Jesus: 6Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage; 7rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. 8And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death- even death on a cross!

John 1:1 1In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

Indeed, the brother of low degree is exalted; but the rich one is made low; James 1:9-10.

If you think I blindly accept anything, you didn't read my whole post; you must have just scanned it. So in keeping with the OP title, what gifts do you have, and how many prayers have been supernaturally answered? Or are you just a pseudo-faith person?

The holy scripture doesn't reveal the answer to that to us.
Don't evade the question. It was rhetorical, but still warrants a response. Don't show how utterly dumbfounded that you trinitarians remain, on every single facet of Christology. It's always, well how are we to know.

Don't evade the question.

I'm not evading anything.

The question wasn't directed at me; but I answered it to the best of my ability.

Fact is, scripture is silent as to the answer to your question.

What do you expect me to do, try to find some kind of extra-biblical support for an answer that will suit your fancy?

The question is "What does God want you to have?" There are divergent views about this so begs the question. Does God want you to experience suffering?

What do you want for your children sickness and poverty or blessing and gifts from God??

No, none of the other stuff should be conflated with this present issue. I love my brothers and sisters in the Lord, and my highest desire is to edify them. I know it doesn't seem that way when we strongly disagree. I don't disfellowship fellow believers over peripheral disagreements.

This particular issue, however, borders on matters that are intolerable to me. Those who adhere to Faith Doctrine refuse to even address the issue, which is not respectable. All things should be defensible with respect to the Bible. This isn't just a theological discussion--it is a spiritual matter.

I wouldn't even be so concerned with the difference in emphasis--just that when someone doubles down on a belief they refuse to justify that belief as biblical. And when there is a counter-argument there is no willingness to engage the issues.

Have you addressed any of my questions yet? If you do, then maybe I can answer your questions too?
