I looked but I can't see that Willie's wife has posted this here on this forum.
So I am doing it , just in case she doesn't.

Hello, this is Willie-T's wife, Sue. He asked me to post this to let you know he won't be on for a while. We would appreciate your prayers on his behalf. I won't be making replies or updates to this post unless there is a significant change. Thank you for your understanding.

Willie-T is currently in ICU. He went by ambulance Saturday night to the hospital after having a sudden onset VIOLENT, VIOLENT headache. His speech became slurred and he was very weak and dizzy. Turns out he has two brain bleeds, one subdural hematoma and one subarachnoid. More scans and tests are ongoing to determine the cause/source of the bleeds. This may require surgery, but may resolve on its own.

The nurse let me talk with him this morning. He is stable and coherent but speech is quite slurred and he still has pain in the back of his head. The hospital has a no visitor policy due to covid-19 precautions so I am not allowed to go see him. I am getting phone updates from ICU. This is "not his first rodeo" since he had a subarachnoid hemorrhage in 2012. My thought is that he will be in the hospital for a while, probably followed by rehab, although this has not yet been discussed by the medical staff.

Family and friends around the U.S are lifting Willie-T up in prayer. It would be a blessing to have your prayers added to theirs. Many thanks from both of us.

Oh no, Awe.
Prayers for Willie's recovery and comfort for him and his family, in Jesus Name.

Glory to God,

My spidey senses detect his presence. He is not far away....mercy Lord!

I was thinking today how much a person can be missed on these boards , even when they are not 'prolific posters'. Willie usually posts one or two...but his lack of presence leaves a gap. @aspen
too..

I guess that is showing us a picture of the Body of Christ , something missing, and we are incomplete.

Thinking about Willie, praying for his recovery, In Jesus Name.
Thinking of his wife. So hard to be prohibited from being with her husband at such a time.
Praying for her strength and comfort,
In Jesus Name.

Glory to God,

Yes Helen, a huge gap. Isn't it interesting how we can grow to love one another even though never meeting? That is unity of the brotherhood in the Spirit!
Praying fervently for our Willie that God would reverse the effects of this stroke and bring him back to us. And, what a horrible time for this to happen as he and his loved ones cannot see each other :(

I do know what was said in the OP however, I do hope we get some news updating Willie T's condition.
We're continuing to pray for him and his family.

I also think his wife should be able to be tested to see if she's been exposed to or has C19. And when the result shows she's clear, she should be allowed to be at his side. Being alone in a hospital room, afraid, and with no familial support, can have a devastating impact on the person's recovery.
I pray also that the hospital staff realize this and make the necessary adjustments.

Yes, the distancing requirements can be distressing, even though there is a rationale behind them.

I found that when in hospital being able to remember Scriptures was a great blessing.
There is a rational present, yes. However, a hospital has the ability to test the wife for Covid 19, so that Willie can have her in his company during this time. There is no reason for Willie to be alone in hospital when his wife tests, God's will be done, negative for C-19.
I pray the hospital staff realize this and for Willie's sake, make adjustments.

There have indeed been distressing reports about the situation of isolated patients; it is indeed very sad.
