The Rich and the Kingdom of God
Mark 10:17 As Jesus started on his way, a man ran up to him and fell on his knees before him. “Good teacher,” he asked, “what must I do to inherit eternal life?”

18 “Why do you call me good?” Jesus answered. “No one is good—except God alone. 19 You know the commandments: ‘You shall not murder, you shall not commit adultery, you shall not steal, you shall not give false testimony, you shall not defraud, honor your father and mother.’”

20 “Teacher,” he declared, “all these I have kept since I was a boy.”

21 Jesus looked at him and loved him. “One thing you lack,” he said. “Go, sell everything you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.

22 At this the man’s face fell. He went away sad, because he had great wealth.

23 Jesus looked around and said to his disciples, “How hard it is for the rich to enter the kingdom of God!”

24 The disciples were amazed at his words. But Jesus said again, “Children, how hard it is to enter the kingdom of God! 25 It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God.”

26 The disciples were even more amazed, and said to each other, “Who then can be saved?”

27 Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but not with God; all things are possible with God.”

28 Then Peter spoke up, “We have left everything to follow you!”
Footnotes
  1. Mark 10:19 Exodus 20:12-16; Deut. 5:16-20
  2. Mark 10:24 Some manuscripts is for those who trust in riches

1Timothy6:5 wranglings of men wholly corrupted in mind, and destitute of the truth, supposing the piety to be gain; depart from such;
6 but it is great gain -- the piety with contentment;7 for nothing did we bring into the world -- [it is] manifest that we are able to carry nothing out;8 but having food and raiment -- with these we shall suffice ourselves;
9 and those wishing to be rich, do fall into temptation and a snare, and many desires, foolish and hurtful, that sink men into ruin and destruction,

10 for a root of all the evils is the love of money, which certain longing for did go astray from the faith, and themselves did pierce through with many sorrows;

Luke8:1 After this, Jesus traveled about from one town and village to another, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom of God. The Twelve were with him, 2 and also some women who had been cured of evil spirits and diseases: Mary (called Magdalene) from whom seven demons had come out; 3 Joanna the wife of Chuza, the manager of Herod’s household; Susanna; and many others. These women were helping to support them out of their own means.

Foxes have holes, and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay his head (Luke 9:58).

“The very first thing on Jesus` agenda was to get rid of poverty! Would you like to know why some people, including ministries, never get out of poverty? Its not because they aren’t smart. Its not because they don’t have windows of opportunity. Its because they’re not anointed. If you’re not anointed, poverty will follow you all the days of your life. His first objective was to get rid of poverty.”
(Jesse Duplantis, Nov. 1997 Voice of the Covenant magazine, page 5)

Jesse Duplantis claims that God said the following to him:
“If you used any more faith you would blow Me off My Throne” (Jesse Duplantis).
@RainAndIceCream It's treasure in heaven that counts! :)

I tried to watch it, but in his opening statement he says " if it's okay with yall, I'm gonna just preach out of my spirit".

Better is a poor and a wise child than an old and foolish king, who will no more be admonished.

Yes!!! Jesse has the spirit of God!!!
So why would he consider it may not be ok with his audience, Paul reference two spirits within him, at war with one another. Have you ever read anything in scripture pertaining to this? And also why do you believe Jesse reference it as his spirit and not God's?

Do you believe there are actually literal big mansions in Heaven?

I am going to say something that will knock your lights off. God has the power to take life but he can’t. He’s got the power to do it but he won’t. He’s bound, he can’t. He says, “Death and life are in the power” of whose tongue? Yours.
Jesse Duplantis

If I give $1,000 dollars I deserve to get back $100,000 because I am just, that’s not greed!” Jesse Duplantis

The idea that the Bible is some type of contract that informs people if they hold faith in its God they will be rewarded by him with riches and material possessions, is no where found in the study in proper context of God's own words. In point of fact, if God were of that nature, what is in scripture that condemns materialism, greed, and worship of possession and money, would not exist at all. The parable of the rich man suplants all that Jesse Duplantis , whom you follow, says.
Jesse Duplantis sustains his greed and materialist nature by telling himself and sadly others, that Jesus forgives and that is why Jesse need not ever to feel guilt at all for anything he does.

If that admission by Mr.Duplantis is not insightful as an act of his commission of multiple transgressions against the word, to gain riches derived from those poor souls whom he mis-leads with the word, then poor Jesse, who may be rich in this life but is poor beyond measure, shall find it out when he stands before the judgment of the God whom he blasphemed for decades. For those who think themselves called to pastor are to be held accountable for their words far more than myself, or anyone who is not occupying that station of pastor. As God warns.

Countless horrors have been committed in this world, and precious lives have been sacrificed, behind these simple words; God told me....
While Jesse Duplantis is not a mass murderer of physical life, he is a mass murder, assailant, of eternal life. His zeal for his own riches, his misapplication of God's actual words to lead people to give currency to sustain Jesse's god of mammon, leads those who would seek Salvation to remain condemned.

Though Satan is glad of it, Jesse is an abomination to the kingdom of Christ. And come the judgment, shall find he is not able to jet away from what awaits. But shall answer eternally, separated and in the outer darkness, where there are no lush beds upon which he may rest, no deep pockets from whence he may extract worthless paper to grant him parole from that condition, no congregation to dupe as he begs them to give him the money for yet another vice they themselves can ill afford.

Prosperity Gospel speakers are beggar in the pulpit. They lie about God, they fabricate their own myths and destroy God's truth, to achieve their end goal, always, in all ways. Their desire to have people led to believe what they've said to give money for having heard such words spoken.
Jesse's ministry is that of his god, mammon. Believe and ye shall be paid in return, is not in scripture. It is in Jesse.

"In the beginning God created the ATM...."
No! Not at all.

You have my deepest sympathy if you are truly duped by Duplantis false teachings. I pray Emmanuel the Christ will show you the error of Duplantis' ways, that you may open your eyes and realize one thing. Christ is the example of the truth of God. That king of Heaven humbled himself to be born in flesh as a male child, grew into a man, and yet walked with beggars, supped with sinners, and condemned and rebuked the rich and the powerful for their transgressions and worship of other than the spirit of truth.

When a pastor begs his congregation for the money to purchase yet another jet, or his first, while having taught God gives that pastor his riches due to his faith in God, the rube in that con is you!
