Well, I think this might fit Scott's interpretation of things better than mine. I think it will be the exclusive domain of believers in the Lord Jesus Christ during the end-times, similar to how Pentecost saw the Spirit poured out specifically upon the disciples of our Lord during the New Testament era.
Yes you are correct but remember there is prophesied a refreshing, renewing, restoring of all things and the outpour will also usher in another great revival....many more souls will be saved at this time and the harvest begins.

To those who receive Christ, yes. The outpouring will come. But just as with Cornelius' house, the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ will have to be preached to them and received by them first.

Absolutely. The Bible says that you are not to look for additional prophecies or prophets. So this is idle curiosity.
I've never come across a scripture stating the above. I read that it tells us to test the prophets.

Anyway, why do we get our knickers in a knot about this stuff when the scriptural directive is straight forward "to the law and to the testimony, if they speak not according to this word there is not light in them'. I don't find this hard to understand.

There is so much in God's Word to exhaust our lives with all its divine fulness already, that for ppl to be dissatisfied with what has already been revealed in Scripture seems very odd...
Who says anything about being dissatisfied ..is that what you and others believe !
Do you not realise that there is a spiritual battle going on all around us, and what The Holy Spirit passes on can break strongholds, give insights to help those in need and enable peoples eyes to be open to the truth of what is really going on in their lives, and sometimes our own. There is nothing wrong in ‘ just ‘ wanting the written word, but why do you , and others want to just disregard the journeys of others just because it happens to be different to your own. We are not enemies here, we are all Christians endeavouring to live in a relationship with the Lord- how that unfolds should not be a continuous argument - no wonder Satan gains so much ground with division.
By the way Farouk this is aimed at anyone that is opposed to the works of The Holy Spirit , not you personally, but you raised the issue of it being rooted in dissatisfaction- which, for me, was never the case - I love the word of God , always learning always growing, but I am just open to receive more xxx

Scott, the one thing I do remember from reading your posts in the past was that you very heavily spiritualized scripture, and in places where it should not be spiritualized. Joel 2:28 is not about creation. It is about a specific point in history after creation where the Spirit of God is poured out upon His people, leading to dreams, visions and prophecy becoming abundantly manifest in the earth. Likewise, the day of Pentecost did not take place at creation. It was an event which took place at a specific time in history, thousands of years removed from when God first created man.

I fear this may be a short conversation again, LoL.
Apparently your spiritual compass is broken.

God is spirit, and the words of the Word, Jesus Christ are spirit. Therefore, you have it all completely upside down and backwards-- nothing of God can be over or "heavily spiritualized." But rather, all things of God are and should be spiritualized...which is not my word on it, but His, and you say the opposite. There can be no greater error than to speak against the Spirit. Do you not understand that it is unforgivable?

As for dates and times, Paul spoke against such thinking as fearful, for it is the way of the world, and not of God. God's use of time and times to explain and to shed a light into a dark and fallen world and its ways, does not condone the world...it condemns it.
