Picking one piece of the picture and ignoring it's context within Scripture is a rather flawed way of looking at truth, and is inconsistent with:

"I have said, Ye are gods [elohim]; and all of you are children of the most High." Psalm 82:6
Psalm 82 is about the Israelite judges. They act like God in the way they rule and pass judgement, but they are wicked. The Psalm ends with a plea for God to rise up and judge the earth.

The Psalm has nothing to do with the Trinity or our likeness to the Almighty, but rather it is a warning not to let people rise up over us like the judges in the Psalm, who acted more like dictators.

Funny how you quote scripture but say the bible is a dead book! You would have to throw away an awful lot of scripture to believe as you do. And, what makes you think I do not talk to or listen to God??

2 Timothy 3:16-17

All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be competent, equipped for every good work.

Psalm 119:105

Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.

Joshua 1:8

This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.

Matthew 4:4

But he answered, “It is written, “‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.’”

Hebrews 4:12

For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.

Romans 15:4

For whatever was written in former days was written for our instruction, that through endurance and through the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope.

1 Timothy 4:13

Until I come, devote yourself to the public reading of Scripture, to exhortation, to teaching.

Psalm 119:18

Open my eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of your law.

John 1:1

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

1 Peter 2:2

Like newborn infants, long for the pure spiritual milk, that by it you may grow up into salvation—

Psalm 119:10-11

With my whole heart I seek you; let me not wander from your commandments! I have stored up your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you.

John 15:7

If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.

Psalm 1:2

But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law he meditates day and night.

2 Timothy 2:15

Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth.

2 Timothy 2:7

Think over what I say, for the Lord will give you understanding in everything.

Job 23:12

I have not departed from the commandment of his lips; I have treasured the words of his mouth more than my portion of food.

Matthew 24:35

Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.

Isaiah 40:8

The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God will stand forever.

2 Timothy 3:16

All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness,

Proverbs 30:5

Every word of God proves true; he is a shield to those who take refuge in him.
@Nancy Excellent verses there! :)

Well . . . I don't know what Bible you are using, but that stuff about judges it is not in mine. Jesus used that passage to support His own diety:

"The Jews answered Him, “For a good work we do not stone You, but for blasphemy; and because You, being a man, make Yourself out to be God.” 34 Jesus answered them, “Has it not been written in your Law, ‘I said, you are gods’? If he called them gods, to whom the word of God came (and the Scripture cannot be broken)" John 10:33

It is the same for God. Even though you are father, son, and husband, you are One person, and so it is with the Almighty who is One God.
.
Correct.
God reveals Himself as the Father, revealed Himself through His son Jesus on earth, and reveals Himself today through His son as the Holy Ghost.

sometimes when people speak words they have no clue as to what they are saying.

a classic example here, someone else other than himself, lets put that to the test by fire, meaning by bible, the word of God.
scripture, Acts 13:33 "God hath fulfilled the same unto us their children, in that he hath raised up Jesus again; as it is also written in the second psalm, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee." or this Acts 2:22 "Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know:"
Acts 2:23 "Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain:"
Acts 2:24 "Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it."

here we have "GOD" who raised up Jesus the Lord correct. is this someone else who raised up Jesus, beside Jesus himself?. it clearly states "GOD" raised up Jesus correct? well let the fire test it.
John 2:18 "Then answered the Jews and said unto him, What sign shewest thou unto us, seeing that thou doest these things?"
John 2:19 "Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up."
John 2:20 "Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days?"
John 2:21 "But he spake of the temple of his body."

well now, ignorant men will say, "GOD" raise up Jesus, and God is someone else beside Jesus, when the bible clearly states he, JESUS, raised up his own "body". either JESUS is God or the bible is lying, God forbid. so who's lying? not the bible, but ingorant men who is the sons of their lying daddy the devil.

understand, I'm not aganist any one person, I'm just aganist their ignorance.

now if anyone who believe not that Jesus is God and don't believe he, JESUS, raised up his own body, please post your alternate answer .

PICJAG.
Are you saying that Jesus had no clue what he was saying when describing God as this?.....

24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

Fact is, in the same book per chapter 14, Jesus said the Father(God) speaks through him. He said the words he spoke was not his, but the Father's words...

24 He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.

Now you know how he spoke as the Father and as himself at times.

So, 1 father x 1 son x 1 husband equals what?

Otherwise, if you did it your way: 1 father + 1 Son + 1 Husband make you three people.

If you want to put silly arguments forward please do, then we can all have a good laugh.
.
Surely not 3 persons.

God (the Holy Spirit) was present in Jesus. Man AND God.
.
No, Jesus the man was full of the Holy Ghost and led by the Holy Ghost.....

4 And Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost returned from Jordan, and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness,

Aren't you glad Jesus was led by the Spirit?

just think how he likely would have failed without being led of the Spirit in that tough situation.

My point is: YOU ARE ONE tripartite being, and so is God.
.
No, I live certain roles. I even have more roles than that...so do you.

None of these roles are persons.

God is many things per Isaiah 9:6 etc, but not 3 persons.

I don't use the word persons. It is a bad word to describe God's attributes God is One, in heaven, on earth and in our hearth.

He is our Father in heaven, our Saviour on earth, and our Comforter/Guide/Keeper and Strength within us.

Great post.

Technically a Spirit is not a person.

The use of the word "persons" of God suggest "personalities" of God, which is a scary thought indeed.

Yes Jesus called them gods, they were evil like the judges in Psalm 82. Thy were judging Jesus, wicked people like they were.

ADDED: please notice in John 10:34 who was speaking in Psalm 82. (For those who do not believe Jesus is the God of the Jews.)

We need to be fearful of the Almighty. Think who will be judging us in the final judgement and let people tremble when they remember how fervently they denied the deity of Jesus.

Yes, true.

Denying Jesus is God is not good.

Figuring out how Jesus is God is very good.

We need to scrutinize everything we know to make sure we are not incorrect in our understanding.

God IN him. The Holy Spirit is God is he not?
.
The Holy Ghost is God's Spirit.

God(the Father) is holy...

God(the Father) is a Spirit....

God(the Father) is a holy Spirit.

There is not more than one Holy Spirit.

The Father is the actual Holy Ghost(Spirit if you prefer).

You seem to have lost the Father's Son. A Father without a Son, is not a Father. Without the Son, you do not have a Father God.

The missing Father's Son is not only full of the Holy Spirit Luke 4:1 but is also God Luke 4:12.
