Could it be that the eradication of many diseases is the result of education and learning regarding actual lifestyle changes, not necessarily medicine?
In which case for someone seeking prayer for example for something like diabetes, should we expect instant miraculous healing without a commitment to this lifestyle changes necessary to retain good health?

That is not for me to answer as I do not expect God to do things as I want them done. I have prayed for people and they have been healed and I have not prayed for people and they have been healed. God moves in mysterious ways his wonders to perform.

And I suggest that you go to something where we don't have to spend all our time listening to your drivel. No one agrees with you except marymog so you must be brain dead if you can't see the obvious.

Luke 9:49 John answered, “Master, we saw a man casting out demons in your name, and we forbade him, because he does not follow with us.” 50 But Jesus said to him, “Do not forbid him; for he that is not against you is for you.”

Bobby Jo
Hi Bobby Jo,

Casting out demons in the name of Christ has NOTHING to do with refusing to accept or deny Church doctrine.

Soooooo that passage has NOTHING to do with the discussion at hand. Would you like to try another passage that backs up what you believe?

Well actually, real church doctrine says...

Colossians 3:17 And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.

Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

Now if one does not do everything in his "name" (baptize, cast of devils, etc) then one is denying "church doctrine" and denying Jesus himself because his name is who he is.

God bless!

Hi user,

Who (or which denomination) decides if one of us is not do everything in His "name"? Baptists? Mormons? Lutherans? Catholic? SDA's? Which one has this "real church doctrine" that you speak of?

See how your theory easily falls apart?

Also, that passage from Colossians has NOTHING to do with Church doctrine. In context it tells us to let the peace of Christ rule in our hearts, let the word of Christ dwell in us richly and be thankful.

To All,
Sometimes there's no answers for some people.

Thank you for trying Bobby Jo.

To All,

Sometimes what we personally believe to be true is not backed up by Scripture.

To Mary,
Sometimes we need to obey Solomon:

Proverbs 26:4 Answer not a fool according to his folly,
lest you be like him yourself.

Why don't you obey Solomon Bobby Jo???

Answer fools according to their folly, or they will be wise in their own eyes.

You should learn ALL of Scripture before you try to use it as a weapon in an attempt to belittle someone by suggesting they are a fool. It's OK! I forgive you and I am praying for you.

What do you think Jesus meant when he said this?: Anyone who says to a brother or sister,...... ‘You fool!’ will be in danger of the fire of hell.

I look forward to you answer!
