Before we begin I must apolgize for the length but....it just happened. Too, I ask you to open your spiritual eyes and see the spirit of what is written. Someone pointed out to me the following verse in which "flesh and bones" is written. I always overlooked that and probably saw flesh and blood instead. So, this has led me on a deeper search for what is being taught. First, it must be stated that we, as those that love Him, are the body of Christ. He lives and walks in us and us in Him. He "abides" in us...literally! (that is so amazing) We are His feet, His eyes, His hands and....His flesh and bones. Knowing that as we read Scripture opens so much understanding of what is being said. Luke 24:39 Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have. Ephesians 5:29-32 For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church: For we are members of His body, of His flesh, and of His bones. For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh. This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church. The mystery is the subject of this teaching and that mystery is about Christ and the church so we must look deeper than simply a man and his wife! A man, a "man child," which is one of God's very elect, will be required to leave his/her (for the man child has no gender), father and mother for the wife (also no gender)...the church, the body of Christ! That is their/our purpose. Matthew 10:37-38 He that loveth father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after Me, is not worthy of Me.Adam, the first man in the line to Christ, the first man establishing the family of Israel, was the first man to use the words...flesh and bone: Genesis 2:23 And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.This is of course Adam and Eve but it is also a type for the Woman, (the church, the body of Christ) and the Man...the man child/elect. Other mentions of flesh and bone showing that they are indeed....us! Psalms 22:16-18 For dogs have compassed me: The assembly of the wicked have inclosed me: They pierced my hands and my feet. I may tell all my bones: They look and stare upon me. They part my garments among them, And cast lots upon my vesture. Psalms 34:20 He keepeth all his bones: Not one of them is broken. Psalms 35:10 All my bones shall say, "Lord, who is like unto Thee, Which deliverest the poor from him that is too strong for him, Yea, the poor and the needy from him that spoileth him?" Ephesians 5:30 For we are members of His body, of His flesh, and of His bones.John, the disciple Christ loved, the "he" in these verses, wrote..... John 19:34-36 But one of the soldiers with a spear pierced His side, and forthwith came there out blood and water. And he that saw it bare record, and his record is true: and he knoweth that he saith true, that ye might believe. For these things were done, that the scripture should be fulfilled, "A bone of Him shall not be broken."The precious blood and healing water of Christ is our salvation. With it we, His bones, "shall not be broken." We are Israel. We, as the house of Israel, are of Joseph. We are the bones and flesh of Israel, of the body of Christ. Consider that in the following. 1 Chronicles 11:1 Then all Israel gathered themselves to David unto Hebron, saying, Behold, we are thy bone and thy flesh. Genesis 50:24-25 And Joseph said unto his brethren, "I die: and God will surely visit you, and bring you out of this land unto the land which He sware to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob." And Joseph took an oath of the children of Israel, saying, "God will surely visit you, and ye shall carry up my bones from hence." Exodus 13:19 And Moses took the bones of Joseph with him: for he had straitly sworn the children of Israel, syaing, "God will surely visit you; and ye shall carry up my bones away hence with you." Joshua 24:32 And the bones of Joseph, which the children of Israel brought up out of Egypt, buried they in Shechem, in a parcel of ground which Jacob bought of the sons of Hamor the father of Shechem for an hundred pieces of silver: and it became the inheritance of the children of Joseph. We, as the bones of Joseph, are carried out of Egypt (symbolic of the world and it's carnal lusts) and we inherit the promised land...the land promised to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Lastly, consider Ezekiel. He, as an elect, was to prophesy to the dry bones of the house of Israel. He was to teach the body of Christ. Ezekiel 37:11 Then He said unto me, "Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel: behold, they say, 'Our bones are dried, and our hope is lost: we are cut off for our parts. We too are to teach. As the Holy Spirit reveals His Word to us we are to take that to....the whole house of Israel. Others of that house are to teach what is revealed to them. Together, the flesh and bones of Christ come alive as the Spirit is breathed into us.

Nice post. A resurrected being is a being of flesh and bones, like we know Jesus had when He returned as a resurrected being. This is different from the flesh and blood of mortality. In mortality, the blood is the live-giving material. It flows in us, through us, and permeates every cell and being of our body. When we are resurrected, we will no longer be mortal, but we will be an immortal being like Jesus is, having flesh and bones, where Spirit is the live-giving material that flows through our bodies.
