touche.

I posted the link because I believe that you can benefit from the entire message.

If you don't want to listen to it because you think it to be too long, it is because you are lazy or impatient.
And if YOU can't explain your position and instead post links - then YOU are the lazy one . . .

Also, it is to prove that the Holy Spirit defended me concerning a previous battle that we had; and that I am not defending myself.

Because, as this pastor was teaching through the word at the church that I currently attend, it just so happened that the Holy Ghost addressed the very thing that I was going through.

I don't think that it would have the same power if I posted the truths of God's word concerning this myself as my own teaching.

Because it is the teaching of an established pastor other than myself, it shows that the Holy Ghost is defending me personally and that I am not defending myself.

Then articulate that in your post intead of making me watch a long-winded 90 minute video . . .

I think that the Holy Spirit can say it better through this pastor than He can say it through me.

Just take the time to watch the video.

No, I'm not watching a 90 minute video.
Just give me the highlights.

I never called you anything.
I exposed you for lying.

That is a forgiveable sin, so I never condemned you, either.
You did not expose me for lying. You called me a liar (which is not normally forgiveable, see Revelation 21:8).

All you exposed was the fact that I may have been misinformed, and repeated the misinformation.

That is different from lying.

Lying is to say a mis-truth knowing that it is in error.

So, I suppose that in accusing me of lying, you were simply misinformed...by a spirit of accusation.

The message in the OP really does apply to all of this...and those who listen to it will see how wrong you are.

You will have an opportunity to respond to your reproach that is on you because of this video if you watch it.

Because you know that if you watch this video, the Holy Spirit will convict you.

Today if you will hear His voice...

(Hebrews 3:7-8, Hebrews 3:15, Hebrews 4:7).

I wouldn't watch a long video either. We are supposed to having a conversation but would somebody in a face to face conversation insert a video to prove a point? It isn't laziness that that I don't watch it's because I'm not that interested. It just isn't part of a conversation.

I'm sorry, in accusing him of laziness I was merely giving him a taste of his own medicine, answering a fool according to his folly, thus becoming like him; but so that he will not be wise in his own eyes. Proverbs 26:4-5.

The video applies to the conversation; and yes, if I was having a face to face conversation with @BreadOfLife, I might refer him to the video.

It is preaching that might even save his soul.

No - I never called you anything.

And when you choose to spread misinformation - YOU are guilty of the lies you spread.
It's NO different than gossip . . .

I've been to DOZENS pf Protestant services. 9 of my 12 siblings are Protestant, so it's kind of difficult NOT to have heard Protestant sermons.
And NO - I'm not going to leave Christ's Church because YOUR pastor misinterpreted Scripture.

YOUR misinterpretations won't make me leave - so why would his??

And it's not up to YOU to determine if my soul is saved or not, my arrogant friend.
That's up to GOD and God ALONE.

Your arrogance is matched only by your dishonesty.

I didn't say that you would necessarily leave the Catholic Church...I said you would be saved.

How did my pastor misinterpret scripture?

I believe that you are making an uninformed comment...much like what I did when I said that Constantine was the first Pope.

I won't call you a liar for doing that.

But if you haven't listened to the message, how can you know whether he misinterpreted something or not?

See, normally when we see a sin on someone else (the size of a speck), it is the size of a beam in our own life.
Read Matthew 7:1-5, and Luke 6:41-42, and weep...
That's NOT what the Bible says.
In fact - Scripture tells us to JUDGE rightly (John 7:24) and rebuke publicly those who persist in sin (1 Tim. 5:20).

You kept repeating the same lies, so that was the Biblical prescription I used.
