The early believers of Thessalonica were troubled because of the prevalent false teaching that the day of the Lord was in process .... they thought they had missed the Lord's "harpazo" action to immortalize them.

Paul discussed this same issue with them earlier [1Thessalonians 4, 5] and so he sets the record straight by explaining that the day of the Lord had not yet come ..... he also tells them why ..... because certain conditions were not present .... the coming of the lawless one and his following [the falling away].

The gathering Paul speaks of and the day of the Lord are not the same events and the Lord's immortalization of the believer [both those asleep and those living at the time] will occur first ..... and then the day of the Lord will begin abruptly with no warning given to earth dwellers.

The day of the Lord will begin with His "hour" of trial [the coming tribulation period of 2,550 days] .... and will then include His coming millennial kingdom upon the earth for 1,000 years.

The term "last day" [the time frame of the day of the Lord] used in prophetic presentation is a period of time .... not just "one" 24 hour day .... and when this is used it is always presented as "at", or "in" the last day .... not "on" the last day.

Revelation confirms that the gathering noted in 2Thessalonians 2:1 is the Lord's call to immortalize the believer just before His coming hour of trial. Today's church is seen with Him dwelling heaven, in His temple, and around the throne just before, during, and at the closing of the tribulation period. [Revelation 3:10; 4:4; 5:5-10; 7:9-17; 11:1; 12:12; 13:6; 17:14; 19:1-14; 20;4 (those on thrones)]

Gods wrath the also known as the Day of the Lord are not the same as the tribulation of Satan it is written
Mar 13:24 But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light,
after what tribulation do think he is talking about ?
Gods wrath is after this tribulation at the 7th trump and it's upon the unsaved not the saved.

"Day of the Lord are not the same as the tribulation of Satan it is written"

>The day [time] of the Lord is exactly the same: [Psalms 2; 2Thessalonians 2:8-12; Revelation 12:12; 13:1-6; 17:16-18; 19:2

>It is the Lord who draws satan .... and then uses him in His judgment process against an unbelieving world .... since they refuse to bbelieve the truth about Him, He will give them the devil

>Then He will turn on satan and ultimately destroy him [Revelation 20:1-3; 20:7-10] [/time]

Yes thats exactly what I said but its not the day of the Lord .... the tribulation of Antichrist (Satan) the man of sin all comes first as written in 2 Thess. Then after this tribulation Comes Gods Wrath
when is Gods wrath the 7th trump the second coming ..The Day of the Lord he comes and that starts the Day of the Lord ... which last 1000 years
as is written in 2 Peter 3:8 learn the hebrew traditions if your going interpt time then you need to understand it the way they did ... And then maybe you will understand what God is telling us

Jewish figure of Speech concerning One day as a thoudand years

A common saying among the Jews, founded on the same passage, (Mynv Pla hb "qh) (lv wmwy) , "the day of the holy blessed God is a thousand years"

this phrase should be thought to refer, as it is by some, to the day of judgment, and be expressive of the duration of that: it is certain that the Jews interpreted days of millenniums, and reckoned millenniums by days, and used this phrase in confirmation of it. Thus they say (F1),

``in the time to come, which is in the last days, on the sixth day, which is the sixth millennium, when the Messiah comes, for the day of the holy blessed God is a thousand years.''

And a little after,

``"the Lord hath created a new thing in the earth, a woman shall compass a man". This is in the time of the Messiah which is in the sixth day.''
And elsewhere (F2,)

``the sixth degree is called the sixth day, the day of the holy blessed God is a thousand years. And in that day the King Messiah shall come, and it shall be called the feast of gathering, for the holy blessed God will gather in it the captivity of his people.''

So they call the sabbath, or seventh day, the seventh millennium, and interpret( F3)

``"the song for the sabbath day", (Psalms 92:1) title, for the seventh millennium, for one day of the holy blessed God is a thousand years.''

To which agrees the tradition of Elias, which runs thus (F4)
`
`it is the tradition of the house of Elias, that the world shall be six thousand years, two thousand years void (of the law), two thousand years the law, and two thousand years the days of the Messiah;''

for they suppose that the six days of the creation were expressive of the six thousand years in which the world will stand; and that the seventh day prefigures the last millennium, in which will be the day of judgment, and the world to come; for

``the six days of the creation (they say ) is a sign or intimation of these things: on the sixth day man was created; and on the seventh his work was finished; so the kings of the nations of the world (continue) five millenniums, answering to the five days,

in which were created the fowls, and the creeping things of the waters, and other things; and the enjoyment of their kingdom is a little in the sixth, answerable to the creation of the beasts, and living creatures created at this time in the beginning of it; and the kingdom of the house of David is in the sixth millennium,

answerable to the creation of man, who knew his Creator, and ruled over them all; and in the end of that millennium will be the day of judgment, answerable to man, who was judged in the end of it; and the seventh is the sabbath, and it is the beginning of the world to come.''

The man of lawlessnes is sent by the Lord Himself [the lie] and part of His day of wrath and judgment that is coming pon the whole world ... satan is only the Lord's dupe in the process

There is a distinct difference between Revelation 6:12-17 [the very beginning of the Lord's hour [time] of trial .... and the events just after 2,550 days later as described in Matthew 24:29-31

Comparision of the details these two passages of scripture will reveal the difference

Postribulational teaching is in error and those who teach it do not recognize this truth[/time]

This list of names for Satan has been taken from the New King James Version of the Bible.

There may be other names for Satan in the Bible. Please send me an email if you know of a name for Satan that I have missed.

Very soon Satan will leave the spirit world that he has lived in for thousands of years. He will become visible to us and will claim that he is God. The Bible calls him the beast.
