The Good News Still to be Preached: Still future
As we all know, the good news must be preached first before the end comes. We are not in the time of the end as yet, and the time of the end is in actual fact the day of Jehovah. This day begins by Satans ousting from heaven and the set up of the wild beast, or disgusting thing that causes desolation.

The preaching of the good news comes during the first half of the 7 year tribulation that is to come, we see this when we read (Matt 24:14).

This occurs inside the time of the opening of the 6 seals. It will be a time marred by talks or reports of war, then nation rising against nation in war, and most likely by use of nuclear weapons? as when we read (Revelation 6:8) we see at least one quarter of the worlds population being eradicated by war, famine and disease. Luke also tells us there will be "big" earthquakes and plagues in one place after the other (Luke 21:11). The good news is being preached within this time frame. We most certainly do live on an earth today beset by problems, grave ones, but we are not in the end time yet, not even at begining of the 7 year tribulation. But the real difficulties as spoken by christ are still to occur also in this time frame. The preaching of the good news by this elite two witness group is just another composite sign of the tribulation which is about to come.

The period of the 2 witnesses is the period of (Matt 24:4-14). This is the period in which we see the 6 seals being opened. And the presence of Christ will only be known to this remnant group, his chosen ones, just as the transfiguration was only made know to a select intimate group of Christ (Matt 17:1-8)*

Soon, during the first half of the 7 year tribulation that is coming, the 2 witnesses will arrive. They will preach a new message, a messgae that is sweet, but yet have very bitter consequences, and it will be preached in the whole world to peoples, nations, tongues and to many kings (Revelation 10:8-11 11:3 Jerimiah 1:10 Matt 24:14).

Their ministry will be reflective of that of the christs, public preaching backed up by powerful works. Whilst christ was on the earth, he cured the sick, fed the hungry, and even raised the dead. But, he said that his apostles will do greater and more poweful works than he did (John 14:12 Matt 21:21). But, sadly, this time, as with the time of the great tribulation also, false christs and prophets will arise, and these will also perform signs, but signs which are lying portents of satan himself so as to mislead the many (Matt 24:11).

These 2 witnesses, the true apostles of christ and witnesses of God, will be like Elijah and Moses, closing heavens to rain, and brining as many plagues upon the earth as they wish and for as often as they wish (Revelation 11:4-7). These 2, or the group representing these 2, are the Elijah that is indeed coming before the day of Jehovah to lead men back to God (Isaiah 40:3). While those on the earth marvel at their wild beast, and proclaim who is like the beast, who can do battle with it, there will be those of the Elijah group that will say who is like God, who can compare to him? (Revelation13:4b Isaiah 40:25-26). These 2 witness group are obviously going to go head to head with the authorities over the Gods sovereignty and like Christ they will die for it (Daniel 7:25 9:27 Rev 13:5 11:7-10 Daniel 12:11a).

But, will there be a resurrection during the time these 2 witness group are preaching? Although the resurrection is reserved for after Armageddon during the 1000 year reign of christ, it cannot be ruled out that these witnesses will perform works like these. And during the time of Elijah, he was sent to a widow of Zerapath in Sidon where he saved her house from famine, and when her son became sick and he died, Elijah raised him from the dead (1 Kings 17:17-27. .And due to the works these 2 will do, like christ, the message will spread about it (Luke 7:16-17).

And the bible tells us that Elijah must still to return before the great and fear inspiring day of jehovah begins Certainly, John the baptist had his spirit, but John did not restore all things, and this Elijah to come is certainly not the self proclaimed prophet the WBTS has made itself out to be, for it hasnt even acted or preached in the, and let alone served in the spirit of truth, so this Elijah must still be future (Malachi 4:5 Matt 17:10-12* John 4:24). So, the 2 witnesses to come, are indeed this future Elijah, who will set all things staright and lead many men back to God. And they will perform many powerful works, and as Jesus himself said, not only perform works greater than he did, but be witnesses of him to the most distant corners of the earth, and on this account they will be hated (Matt 21:21 Acts 1:8 Matt 24:14 24:9). So, will be the raising of the dead be part of their witnessing mission? we dont know, all we do know is that they will have powers to perform great works, as were the apostles, and by faith in Christ they will perform them. But, one could very well imagine the crowds they will draw when they do arrive and start doing these things, just like when Jesus himself had done these things. It will be very hard not to notice them. But, as discussed, a resurrection of the dead this side of Gods Kingdom cannot be ruled out. Its quite possible, for we have the accounts in the Bible concerning Elijah, Christ, the Apostles and even the Apostle Paul himself, as we see in the case of Dorcas when he raised her from the dead. These miracles and powers willprove from whom it is they are coming from. So, the 2 witnesses to come, are indeed the prophet Elijah, who will set all things staright and lead many men back to God. .......peoples, nations, tongues and even kings, and this good news is not the so called good news of the WBTS, as these men or individuals who are shortly to appear will preach in spirit and in truth, and according to accurate knowledge.

And the day of Jehovah is the great tribulation that will last for 3.5 years, it is marked by, and begins by Satans ousting from Heaven. The time of Satans New World Order, which will kill these two men, and indeed battle with and kill the holy ones of God.

This may seem balsphemous at first glance, maybe even impossible, but to God all things are indeed possible, one just has to beleive and have faith that these things will indeed occur and very shortly (Matt 19:26). But, it will be works like this that are going to get this group noticed, and put them on a collision course with the authorities when the time comes for their mission to end, the time when they will be put to death by the wild beast.

The work will not be a door to door one, but it will be one very much like that of and reflective of Christs own ministry. It will be a public preaching activity with powerful works which will indeed draw the crowds just as Jesus drew the crowds to him. A work which will get a people ready for the day of Jehovah, a work getting a people prepared to go back to him, a work which will see a great crowd coming out of the nations and through this oncoming tribulation, through Armageddon and on into the new millenial reign when christ finally becomes king.

After Jesus had told four of his apostles that "not a stone will be left on a stone and not be thrown down" concerning the temple, they then asked him: "Tell us, When will these things be, and what will be the sign of your presence (Greek parousia) and of the conclusion of the system of things ?”(Matt 24:2, 3) How did Jesus reply ? He gave features of the ' sign of his presence.' The question was a threefold one, with the first part asking when the temple there in Jerusalem would be destroyed. Ths occurred in 70 C.E., when it was totally decimated over a period of about 4 1/2 months.

The latter parts of the composite question affect us personally, for we are living during Jesus invisible "presence”. In answering this question, Jesus outlined that his invisible “presence” (and not “coming” as in the King James Bible) would begin with “nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be food shortages and earthquakes in one place after another.”(Matt 24:7) He then said that these major events would just be “a beginning of pangs of distress.”(Matt 24:8) Just as birth pangs upon a pregnant woman, these were just the first features of the "sign of (Jesus) presence", with more to follow.

His “promised presence (Greek parousia), also identifed by Peter as the “last days” (2 Pet 3:3, 4), has been ongoing for almost 100 years, since 1914. These “last days”, Jesus “promised presence” is also called “the conclusion of the system of things (“end of the world”, King James Bible)”. All three are synonymous for the same time period. Revelation 6:2-8 provides other details, such as Jesus, as the rider on the “white horse”, receiving the “crown” of God’s kingdom, being immediately followed by global war (World War I in 1914) , famine (because of global war), and “deadly plague” (the pandemic Spanish Influenza of 1918-19).

At Matthew 24:14, Jesus said that during his invisible “presence”, and of which he paralleled it to the “days of Noah” (Matt 24:37), that “this good news of the kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations; and then the end will come.” That world-wide work is now being accomplished, “for a witness to all the nations.” Thus, the “good news of the kingdom” and not “believe on the Lord Jesus”, is being preached in some 236 nations and islands of the sea to God’s satisfaction during Jesus invisible “presence”, these “last days” or “conclusion of the system of things”, and then “the end will come” at Armageddon.(Rev 16:14-16)

Sorry, we are not in that presence yet, it hasnt begun yet, and neither has satan come down in great anger yet, all the things in daniel, revelation and the gopels are future, near to be sure, and jesus directed his answers at the apostles, it is them, his closest, the chosen, the elite that will carry out this work when this time comes. Parousia hasnt begun yet. And as for days of noah, it could well be, that in those coming days, during time of son of man, just as in noahs day, we may be governed by nephillim type creations? we are in neither of those times yet.

What about Colossians 1:6 which says

that has come to you. All over the world this gospel is bearing fruit and growing, just as it has been doing among you since the day you heard it and understood God's grace in all its truth.

It seems that all the roman world heard the gospel during Paul's day

Hi Elijah - In response to your blog. Are you of the mind set like some are that we are not to preached the gospel until the 7 yr tribulation? If so, I totally disagree. I grew up not knowing that God had a son that died for our sins. I was a heathen in need of a savior. If it was not for the work of two witness who preached to me and jarred me out of my darkness and into God's glorious light I'm not sure I would be here writing this to you. Along with these two witness, two other faithful door-to-door witnesses brought me the word and introduced me to Jesus Christ and forgiveness of my sins from the book of Romans 10:9-13. I continue this day to share the gospel as it was presented to me. And I witness to just about everyone I meet. I don't recall anywhere in the bible where God tells us to wait to preach the gospel. Yes, he commissioned his disciples and apostles to do just that but not just them all who believe.I consider myself one of Christ's disciples - being disciplined in the ways of Christ. I am following after Jesus and as I await his return or the great tribulation which ever comes first I will continue to preach the good news to all nations.

Dora, then you are blinded, and it wouldn't matter what i say as it will not change anything, all I can say is good luck to you when the end time begins...and here in Jerusalem, the temple is about to be rebuilt....as part of that 7 year peace plan, a time in which the last two witnesses and the 144000are set to appear.....the good news will be preached but by a select few only...and backed up by the most powerful miracles ever seen...............these witnesses to come, they stand before God.......I am sorry I cant help anymore

Hello Elijah,

And, in your opinion, what is that gospel that is yet to be heralded?

Guy
Yes, it is Guy, but by the Jewish remnant of 144000....all the things pertaining to the gospels matthew 24, mark 13 and luke 21, they have not happened yet...............but, when they do, you will know....

Sorry, we are also not in christs presence yet, and you are pumping jehovahs witness nonsense here about 1914...............christs presence coincides with satans downfall and expulsion from heaven, and this occurs in the middle of the last week as the last two witnesses are slain, worship stops worldwide as antichrist rises to power for the last 42 months of world history. Satans parousia coincides with that of christs.................jesus does not bevome king of the kingdom until the last and 7th trumpet blows...we are not there yet, but near to be sure with the 7 year peace plan/covenant about to be concluded

After Jesus had told four of his apostles that "not a stone will be left on a stone and not be thrown down" concerning the temple, they then asked him: "Tell us, When will these things be, and what will be the sign of your presence (Greek parousia) and of the conclusion of the system of things ?”(Matt 24:2, 3) How did Jesus reply ? yeah, yeah, blah, blah, blah........jerusalem was destroyed for sure in 70 ad, but the desolation and abandonment is still to occur when antichrist will storm the city to lay it desolate without population, making it his seat of power on his rise to dominion over the world......all the things of the end time phase in the gospels and revelation, as well as the prophets.....they have not happened yet....again, we have a poster on here publishing jehovahs witness theology..............they are a sect of satan, and followers of the dogmas of man..be very careful, as following them will cost you more now, and even your very souls....i am surprised the administration allows jehovahs witnesses on here
