Sorry, not buying that story: "The FBI and the Department of Homeland Security have it wrong, and we have it right."

We’ve had evidence for some time that right-wing extremists have been lurking at anti-police protests around the nation, amplifying the violence by engaging in vandalism, assaults, and attacks on police—often while pretending to be there to support Black Lives Matter and antifascists leading the protests.

This weekend in Richmond, Virginia, police arrested several such saboteurs during a Black Lives Matter protest, according to city Mayor Levar Stoney. “White supremacists” were carrying pro-BLM signs and breaking windows at downtown businesses, Stoney said, but were stopped when BLM protesters pointed them out to police.

"We've spoken on many occasions about those who've chosen a more violent route to express their discontent, and what that does for the overall movement towards social justice," Stoney told reporters Sunday. "Last night that reared its ugly head right here in the City of Richmond ... We saw some violent actions, violent protests, spearheaded by white supremacists. And frankly, it was disgusting. Disgusting. As they held plywood shields that read, BLM, these folks toured areas of damage downtown, The Fan, breaking windows, tagging private property with hateful language."

Stoney thanked the protesters who called it out. "As I began with, I want to send a thanks to the BLM protesters on the ground who decried the white supremacists once they were identified. I'm thankful to you for drawing the line and sticking up not just for the sanctity of your movement, but also the safety of your fellow Richmonders that you marched alongside as well," the mayor said.
'White supremacists' arrested while trying to amplify protest violence, Richmond mayor says

I'd be surprised if no BLM members were doing anything violent. But I'd be very surprised if they were a significant proportion of those guys murdering police, destroying property, and rioting. Unless you think BLM members are a lot smarter than white nationalists, I don't see any way to make it other than the evidence shows.

The evidence shows that the majority of the violence and destruction is being caused by leftists. I don't know if they are all BLM members. I doubt very much that the police are even asking about membership. In Portland and Seattle it's Antifa that are the major problem and doubt that they are BLM members. They are just using the BLM excuse in order to riot. At this point we know that some white supremacists are part of the cop haters and are more than willing to pit cops and the BLM groups at odds with each other to further incite the issue. But they are a small group and I could find a lot of photos and video to show that there were plenty of minorities rioting in the streets and I am assuming they are not white supremacists.

Your point is taken. White supremacists are involved. But the evidence is overwhelming that they are not primary in this.

But not BLM? You seem to be making my argument for me.
You know who they are right? I'll give you a hint: not rightwing. And yes, antifa kids are BLM too.

" they have affiliates in Seattle and other U.S. cities, and have gained thousands of new social media followers as they launched into promoting protests over the May 25 police killing of George Floyd."

If you go to these morons Facebook you will see them advertising BLM events. As much as you might want to separate them into two groups, there's tons of overlap. These so called groups are not like joining a club where only card carrying members can protest and riot. You will also notice that both groups are calling for defunding police, although most blacks in general want police in thier neighborhood.

But they got caught.

Twitter has shut down multiple accounts that it says were operated by a white supremacist group posing as liberal groups encouraging violence.

Twitter said the white supremacist group Identity Evropa used one fake account, @Antifa_US, to call for violence in majority white suburbs, in the name of the Black Lives Matter movement. The account's removal was first reported by NBC News.

"This account violated our platform manipulation and spam policy, specifically the creation of fake accounts. We took action after the account sent a Tweet inciting violence and broke the Twitter Rules" the company said.

You know what amazes me is how we have so many people here who had studied Marxism so intensely. When I was in high school, I tried to read Marx' Das Kapital just to see what it was about. Couldn't get through it. Kudos then to the great intellects here who read it and understand it.

The key to it, is that Marx worked out an elaborate system of analysis, that while hardly original, allows one to apply Marxist "dialectic" to almost anything. The "thesis/antithesis/synthesis" idea can be found, for example, in Indo-European stories of relationships with indigenous peoples they overcame.

Problem is, it doesn't work as a political/economic theory.

Freud did the same thing with his theory of mind. That doesn't work, either.

Freudian psychology and Marxism are brilliant inventions by brilliant men. But neither of them reflect reality.

Their red flag says it all! Red is the color of communism. Plenty of blood flows in communist revolutions. It is the way of things....

Problem is...Marxism has served as the basis for communism, which is very much alive and well in many areas of the world today and is driving the BLM movement!

Like Marx, Freud was a nutcase, and, unfortunately, his theories are also alive and well in the world today. Freudian psychoanalytic theory has served as the basis for many trains of thinking we see today in psychology. (In case you think I don't know what I'm talking about, I have a B.A. in psychology.)

The following terms/concepts are attributed to or connected with Freudian thought: ego, conscious, unconscious, defense mechanism, denial, projection, transference, fixation, Freudian slip, Narcissism, neurosis, psychosis, paranoia, phobias, psychoanalysis, repression, sibling rivalry, taboo, and many more.

Are you really this dense or are you acting like the devil who was a liar from the beginning?

I think you are deliberately trying to decieve people.

And the youth liberation sites aren't shut down BTW. They have 27 thosand followers on Instagram alone.

Sounds like projection to me. And you're starting to get a bit too agitated. So you'll go into ignore for a while.

I don’t understand the blindness to Marxism, esp. by those from the Baby Boomer generation. We were taught in school about the evils of communism! The Soviet Union had missiles on Cuba pointed at the U.S. We had bomb drills in school and fallout shelters in the cities....

I can see why the younger generation is falling prey to the idealistic concepts of Marxism, which are praised in public schools today. The federal government should cut off all funding to school systems teaching anything positive about Marxism.

Anti-fascist group seen as playing big role in Portland unrest: report

More reports coming out that the youth liberation front, a far left, anarchist group is doing a lot of the violence.

Typical. Don't like the truth, so put me on ignore.

What is your evidence that the site presented is white supremacist?

That's the problem. Until they are investigated, we don't know which ones are faked and which ones are real. No one can say until it's checked out. So far, a lot of them have been caught.

Now Trump said Biden will "hurt" the Bible and "hurt" God. Wow, does he think Biden is so big and so powerful, he could hurt God?

Playing electoral defense, Trump claims Biden opposes God

“He’s following the radical left agenda, take away your guns, destroy your 2nd Amendment, no religion, no anything, hurt the Bible, hurt God. He’s against God. He’s against guns. He’s against energy, our kind of energy. I don’t think he’s going to do too well in Ohio,” Trump said.

Is Trump trying to alienate Catholics? He was in Ohio when he said that. Is he aware that about about a fifth of the people in Ohio are Catholics?

There are a lot of very conservative Catholics. But a lot of evangelicals don't like Catholics, and that may be what Trump was aiming at, here. If he had tossed in abortion, it probably would have played better. He did fairly well with Catholics last time. (Yehren checks)

President Trump’s support among Roman Catholics plunged from a high of 60% in March to a new low at the end of May, according to a new national poll.

Since March, Mr. Trump’s approval has dropped 23 points to 37%, the PRRI poll published Thursday found. The new number is a “significant decline,” according to PRRI, from 2019, when Mr. Trump — who is often touted as “the most pro-life president in history” — held 49% approval among Catholics.
Trump support among Catholics now at 37%: Poll

Wow. I didn't see that coming. I'm thinking maybe the revelation that he pressured a woman with whom he had an affair (while married to Melania) to have an abortion, played some role in that drop. Or could be his playing to the extreme religious right, many of whom hate Roman Catholics.
