Looks like Scott Morrison is stepping in and putting a stop to the China-Victoria Belt and Roads agreement.

I'm so pleased to see that even though this is a subject that the media to date has been deafly silent on - that it didn't get past our PM and that he's been working to bring it to the forefront.

Premier Daniel Andrews should relocate to China. He has done little favors for his State it seems, as we can see especially in Melbourne. What was he thinking when he signed a MOA/MOU with Beijing in 2018 on this Belt road and rail system, ran essentially by communists - the Communist Party and threat to the globe?

Victoria has a higher population density compared to other states. Melbourne itself has a high population density. Also we probably have more socialites than any other state and there's too much night life here in the state of Victoria, people like their big gatherings, they like their clubs and parties, they somehow like going to the same places all at once, meaning it's easier for the virus to get out of control in Victoria compared to other states.

Didn't you know that artists are a poverty-stricken nation? They all cry poor. But I would be happy to pay you (out of my pension). Now how much should that be? Say $1.40 a week? That sounds about right.

For those who are interested in the latest data on the number of people who have become infected with the Covid19 virus, here is the latest data as of 12:00am 29/08/2020 shown in graphical form.

upload_2020-8-29_12-35-8.png

The charts are showing that the compliance with the Government directives in Victoria, where the majority of the second wave of infections occurred in the population in Victoria, has resulted in a dramatic reduction in number of reported infection cases on a daily basis. Today Victoria contributed around 84% of the recorded daily infections yesterday.

In comparison New Zealand daily totals of recorded infections can be gauged from this graph of the NZ government web page.

For those who have felt that I have been aggressive towards Victorian members concerning the attitude of Victorian people towards their compliance of the government safe practices directives, I found a source for Victorian data and although the data does not match up like I would like, the overall picture remains the same. Since May 1, Victorian people have had the greatest impact on the number of recorded Covid-19 cases for all of Australia.

Below is a chart which shows the Australian and Victorian data.

upload_2020-8-30_10-56-25.png

It should be noted that the greatest rejection of Government directives with respect to Safe Practices for Covid-19 has occurred in the state of Victoria and the second wave of infections confirms this fact.

I also can see that both NSW and QLD daily infections have not greatly affect the moving 14 day tally of recorded infections.

The selfish action of a very small percentage of Victorians will cost Victoria and the rest of the Australian Population dearly over the next couple of years with the Federal Government not being happy to pick up the tab now for the impact of this pandemic.

During the first wave of the pandemic, the above chart shows that Victorians were more compliant with the Government safe practices, but after May 1 their compliance dropped off resulting in the Sate of Victoria having the majority of infection cases around 6.5 times as bad as they experienced in the first wave.

The facts speak for themselves.

Daniel Andrews heavily connected to the CCP
Has sold out the people of his nation

2020-09-01-23-43-59-891.png

Deserves to spend the rest of his days alone in a tiny, cold, concrete cell with no sunlight and only rats for friends.

China’s President has jumped to the defence of embattled Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews.

“Mr Andrews is doing an excellent job,” says Xi Jinping through an interpreter. “China’s Communist party commends him for his measured and timely response to Covid-19.”

The vote of confidence from China comes despite surging infection rates in Victoria, and claims that Daniel Andrews was too slow to place the state into its second lockdown.

“No, not at all,” says Xi Jinping. “A few thousand cases is not a big deal. It’s important to avoid reacting too quickly.”

The Victorian Premier has also been criticised locally for relying on the private security industry to oversee hotel quarantines.

Critics say China’s Communist Party is now heavily influencing Andrews after he recently signed the controversial ‘Belt and Road’ deal with Beijing.

"Daniel Andrews Is Doing An Excellent Job," Says China's President

Daniel Andrews isn't incompetent like i have claimed... He knows exactly what he is doing...

QLD was called The Smart State, for some years that total jerk Peter Beatoff was Premier. I first met him when he was driving a crappy valiant Taxi, what a jerk, but the media made him, I don't know how much money his party gave the media but it must of been huge to have them in your back pocket like that.

As to the word Smart, smart as in what ? was what I thought, not to mention every new car I bought I made sure the plates were The Sunshine State, I was not having The Smart State at all, when the Smart State came out on the plates people arced up and we got to choose between the two.
I thought the Qld was the stupid State, in fact I was convinced of it, not to mention I still am convinced of it.

If I could have any statement made up on the plates I would order them with, The Duped State 001*AA1.
QLD plates has just changed of this month in fact to a letter AA then a number now. it went up to 999*ZZZ to 001*AA1.

From 700+ daily cases on August 5th down to 28 new cases today, what Dan Andrews is doing is working. :)

Josho, it just demonstrates that the crazies have seen the light and are now more compliant with the directives of the state in Victoria.

Hopefully, when the restrictions are released, people will continue with the safe practices that they have adopted while the directives have been in force. The number of reported cases for all of Australia has, IMHO, to drop to a daily level of 3 -4 reported Covid-19 cases before we can say that the virus has become controllable as a third wave of the pandemic can take off very quickly even from this low level if the diligence of the population in maintaining the safe practices becomes slack.

Yep, Victoria's 2nd wave grew very quickly, it only took a few weeks, but good thing the numbers have came down quickly too.

I am still amazed at how NSW is managing to keep numbers from exploding though.

What's also amazing is how Dan Andrews has worked everyday for about the last 80 days or more. God might be helping him.

It appears that a majority of Victorians have shown their support for Daniel Andrew's handling of the pandemic in a recent newspoll. They also found out 61% of voters around the nation support the tough restrictions in Victoria, including 57% of Coalition voters.

"The poll for The Australian shows 62 percent of Victorian voters agree the premier has managed the crisis well, despite a hotel quarantine bungle that unleashed a second wave of the virus."

Ask them again in six months after the truth of the economy sinks in and people are more awake to the long term implications of laws remaining on the books that have removed their freedoms. Remember, the death toll in Victoria is 760 from a population of 5 million.

I think people look at what is happening in USA, Europe, Brazil and India and they are happy to see our government do something about it early.

If Dan Andrews asked and pleaded with the people to follow safe practices needed to overcome the pandemic, and a small percentage refused to do so such that harsher restrictions had to be put in place such that the economy of the whole of Australia suffered, because of the number of infections began to rise very rapidly, then the blame cannot be laid at poor old Dan's feet, but rather it should be laid at the feet of the rebellious few.

Remember we had forum members advocating rebellion against the safe practices put in place both from within Australia and many more from overseas selfishly interfering in the well being of Australia.

It took a few months of uncontrolled safe practices for the rebellious people to realise that they were causing harm to themselves and becoming infected with the virus by not following the recommended safe practices, and when they started to comply, it stagnated for around 14 days, i.e. two weeks, before the rapid fall off in reported daily infections began to show up in the figures. This can be seen in the Graph below where I have reduced the spread of the weeks shown to make the obvious more understandable.

upload_2020-9-23_7-25-49.png

What we are seeing is the decay in the number of daily virus infections which is in line with control theory. Prior to the peak in the daily reported cases, the system was unstable because of the number of people who were ignoring the suggested safe practices. After the peak in the daily reported cases the control loop became stable and the number of the reported daily cases decayed such that the rate of change in the moving 14 day totals is starting to approach zero.

It is my view that the state of Victoria can, as it is doing, reducing the restrictions within the LG areas, where the reported daily cases have virtually dropped to zero, so that normality in the life of the people can resume. However, in the LG areas where the "hot spots" are, the restrictions need to be maintained.

The states which have closed their borders to travel across their lines, they also need to begin removing their control measures, which have been effective, but costly to the respective states economy. By November the opinion poll of the Queensland people will decide which dominate party they wish to govern them.

@Backlit, you are confusing your liberties with your so called freedoms. None of the measure that were introduced took away my freedom, however, my liberties were removed from me by the restrictions that were introduced to control the spread of the pandemic.

The economic harm that has resulted from the rebellion of a few misguided people within Australia can be blamed for the economic downturn in Australia. However, people rebelling protesting against potential governmental decisions for economic gain is more likely the major reason for the down turn of the Australian economy. The exporting of goods to other countries has helped to keep the cash flows into Australia, while the decrease in imports has stopped the export of our cash overseas because of the lose of manufacturing in Australia over the years.

Australia has become populated with very lazy people who do not want to work but would rather rely on the tax payers of this country whether people or businesses, to keep them in a lifestyle that they want to become accustomed too.

If anything the pandemic has shown the shortfall in out logic of exporting all of our manufacturing expertise oversea, including agriculture.

Our economic problems began many years ago, when the unions overpriced their members to their detriment.

Shalom
