MAN has today been boring! So boring that I'm creating a thread for it, glory to God. Anyone who feels my pain can add their thoughts. But for me, a picture says a thousand words.

I'm a very industrious person...
I usually am so busy it's like my hair is on fire and the seat of my pants is catching.

I am way past the point of being bored.

However...
I've also had some medical issues come about just as the quarantines started.
My L knee and R ankle both have severe arthritis setting up in them from rampant overuse. I had to see the orthopedic surgeon about them.

But...

I've made a new dining room table
All kinds of leathercrafts
I've also been working on my sausage making skills.

Made several batches of ravioli and pasta from scratch.

Read a few dozen books...

And played on several forums...

Still bored out of my mind while doing all housework around the house. (Laundry, vacuum, closet cleaning, dishes, and dinner every night)

Yes...I'm still bored.

I got a new meat grinder and some hog casings to make kielbasa...

The chicken sausage has turned out great.
The ground beef from some $2.99 chuck roast also rocked.

The breakfast sausage patties made with fresh sage were a real treat.

But I froze the pork butts twice...and that has destroyed the myosin in the pork butts I needed to bind up the sausage for casings.

So... gonna get some soy protein concentrate and bind it up tight and remember this lesson learned.

You, my brother, are blessed. I go through seasons where I suffer from depression, bad enough to debilitate me.

So I end up with one abiding pursuit: Eat.

But I have a good strong relationship with the Lord, so I always make it through these seasons. I'm hoping to get back to work on some Bible Study writing soon. Maybe that will help. And I like the NFL, so tomorrow should be better.

Count yourself blessed having all the hobbies : ) And I'll pray for your knee and ankle.

If you lived close, you could cook, and I could eat. We'd make a great team.

Oh oh oh...
I was doing some research when researching binding agents and discovered some ways to make lowered saturated fats and lower cholesterol sausages.
(In case all that eating catches up with you and me)

I've gained some weight too since all this quarantine and arthritis...
But now I'm determined to do some push backs...
(From the table)
And some push ups...and try and do some muscle building exercises.

Too late. But I plan on going on another prolonged fast soon.

Even if it kills me, LoL.

Myself as well. The overeating sort of forces me to get all military and drive back the forces of evil.

If I can find some good fatigues somewhere, I'll buy 'em, cuz it's time to get all "Hoorah!" before the enemy overwhelms me.

One thing I enjoy doing when I'm stuck inside is watching homesteading, off-grid, and gardening videos, or something I can find hmor in...

LOL! If a picture paints a thousand words, I didn't really need to watch the video to get a chuckle out of the cover image.

Snappy music...

I imagine the squirrels watching that must think they've lost their minds.

They couldn't use their own car?
The squirrels may be right...

Happy they found some success there at the end.

When my kids were little and told me they were bored, I would tell them it was because they weren’t doing what God wanted them to be doing.
