Rhema and Peace, thought I should make this first stop to say I am Christian, a Bible student, not a very good speller, and like to stay as close to Scripture as possible without having an opinion which might alter my standing on every word that proceedeth out from the mouth of the Lord.so I was surfing around or a new forum, and when I saw the Ez. 13 quote, I new this place my be able to study that which is written.moreover, I believe that the Word can be wrongly divided, and that the instruction to rightly divide the word was given at a certain time and to a certain body. taking that a step further I would say that all the letters we are so privileged to read have are sent. They are sent to a specific people for with a specific message from a specific person ~ just like all letters are today. and that some of them have the gentile name on them, while some do not.other things must also be rightly divided, like the difference of what the NT teaches and what the OT holds to be true, such as in Exodus 20:8, we read part of the commandments as given by God: ‘Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work’. If you now turn to Numbers 15:32-36, it will be found that no allowance was made for not keeping the seventh day. The man that gathered sticks on the Sabbath day did not escape punishment because he intended to observe the first day instead, but the Lord said, ‘The man shall be surely put to death’. In Exodus 31:14 regarding the Sabbath, we have the words quoted, ‘that soul shall be cut off from among his people’. Leviticus 17:14 threatens the same for eating flesh with the blood. Leviticus 23:29 threatens the same for not observing the day of atonement. water of separation, after touching a dead body, or even a bone, or a grave. What are we to say to such a thing in the face of what we find in the NT, such as here in Galatians ~5:2 says, ‘Behold, I Paul say unto you, that if ye be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing’. Here we find the exact opposite to Genesis 17:14. Moses says the UN-circumcised shall be cut off, while Paul says the circumcised are cut off from any benefit from Christ. And again ~Colossians 2:16 says, ‘Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holy day, or of the new moon, or of the sabbaths’. Here, again, the apostle Paul sweeps aside the commands of God given in the law regarding the feasts, fasts and sabbaths. ‘Ye observe days, and months, and times, and years. I am afraid of you, lest I have bestowed upon you labour in vain’ (Gal. 4:10,11). If we believe that both Moses and Paul were equally inspired, how is it that what the one tells us God commanded, the other equally and as positively contradicts and sets aside? What are we to say to these things? The answer is that God has spoken to His people at different times, with different messages, which means that before any real obedience to the Scriptures can be rendered, we must learn to distinguish between these different administrations, or, dispensations as they are called in the Bible, who was written what, when, and to what end. * - ‘The earth’ (Matt. 5:5) The Kingdom* - ‘Jerusalem which is above’ (Gal. 4:26) The Bride* - ‘In heavenly places’ (Eph. 1:3) The Body

Well said and glad to have you with us. Anyone who puts his faith in the authority of the Scriptures is always a friend indeed. No worries about the spelling my friend, we all make mistakes. Thou shalt be a good speller was left out for a reason.
