Reviewing Galatians 2:20; the words "Christ liveth in me" are words that protect the believer. For instance; theologians say the Holier you get, the closer you are to God. That's rank error, scripture says Christ is already in you. With Christ in you there is not getting any closer to God than you already are. Those are some of the trick's played on the minds of believer's.

The only thing I have to say about swallowing everything that comes down the pike especially if it has smarts connected to it is; you better find out for yourself don't take any man's word for nothing the scriptures say, find out for yourself. It does not matter their background, education, or beliefs, you will be well suited if you're interested in what someone may say is to study your bible and get some HolySpirit taught knowledge. Remember the little words "you have no need that any man teach you," why is that? Because man can't teach what you need to know.

They may or may not understand God's plan in creation. The only plan our father has ever had is Ephesians 1:4, for all humanity to understand. Don't be fooled by Elegance, fast talk, and charismatic personalities, brilliance. None of that matters, it may appeal to a believer to follow a personality and we all do but it cannot take away from what the Holyspirit is doing or you will go around and around the mountain of ignorance. Once you get caught in the glitz and glamour of Christianity all your doings become show.

Even if it is out of ignorance it is dependent on you to not let yourself get caught up in all of man's accolades. You are going to prove to the world you are who you say you are by what you have. Money represents spiritual success and the world looks at that like Christianity is just another religion. I like to dress up sometime, but when going to church becomes a fashion show of keeping up with the Joneses you have lost your way. The only thing you will showcase at that point is ignorance of what Christianity is all about.

So with that said thank God we have scriptures like Galatians 2:20, and Ephesians 1:4 because we can always find our way in the word, it's a light, lamb unto your feet.

Men will always fail, that's why I'm so surprised when some big personality fails and we act like they are the only ones to ever fail God. When we know that is not the true but we esteem men so high that we get let down. We had the greats and the giant personalities in the Old Testament but not the New Testament. The New Testament believers have Christ in them and that is how they are to live not with a big ego or look at what I can do for God. Very deceptive trap many get caught in.

your post and verses quoted makes me think of: Hebrews 5:7-9 with "you have no need that any man teach you," why is that? Because man can't teach what you need to know“

‘Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared; [8] Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered; [9] And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him;’

1 Peter 4:1-2 Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin; [2] That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God.

‘learned’ or taught obedience... in suffering?

Money represents spiritual success

What about those who have none?

Men and women who truly seek to follow God can be helpful. John Piper talks about spiritual emulation, which is the idea that we are emulating the Gospel lived out in the lives of others, not them personally. You are correct that Scripture is all we need, but there is value in Christian community and in learning from others as they pursue Christ.

I liked your post, and it is the reason I gave up on denominationalism. I just have one tweak in your message.

Remember the little words "you have no need that any man teach you," why is that? Because man can't teach what you need to know.

The reason is because when we are baptized in the Holy Spirit which makes us born again, we have the Spirit of Truth inside us making us desire to consume with a vengeance the Word of God, and the Spirit teaches us the meaning. Then when we do hear a sermon from man, the errors are glaring.

LOL, that must explain why I am hearing the errors in what people are posting and I am a little concerned about you as well. :D

Exactly there nothing like being with other believers, they are the only people on earth you have anything in common with

Men/woman will always have their place in ministry, but your right. You have to have the foundation laid and build on that

You have the answer, let's hear it

So many believe that they have the 12 steps down pat, but I do see the signs of rebellion in the population of the church. That their way is better in method or understanding or process.

Much of what we call the scared English Scriptures have already been corrupted by the "scribes/theologians" in league with Satan such that the "Good" guys in the storyline are now painted as the bad guys, and the bad guys are painted as the good guys.

In the Abrahamic Covenant, Abraham was not promised any "land" as many "Christians" believe because of the flawed translations of the Hebrew source texts into our English.

Abraham was told to walk in God's Earth, in His statutes that He will show to Abraham and His descendants, and that God's earth will become his inheritance in the distant future, at the vanishing point of time which is beyond our ability to comprehend.

If God had undertaken to show Abraham the Earth that he was to walk in, then God had undertaken to walk with him while he lived.

This same promise is available to all Christians if we chose to walk in God's earth.

What does God's earth look like for us? It look very different to what we are seeing today which is the corrupted version that Satan is prorogation to sow doubt in our minds.

God's Salvation Plan process, from the time of Adam, has not changed in its intent, only the process in which mankind receives God's Grace of redemption. Our trouble is that mankind wants what is brand new, like a freshly brewed coffee or car, and not something that has been refurbished like new again.

I think that Romans, Ephesians and Colossians says it well: -

Romans 12:1-2: - 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

Romans 12:14-16: - 14 Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse. 15 Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep. 16 Be of the same mind toward one another. Do not set your mind on high things, but associate with the humble. Do not be wise in your own opinion.

Ephesians 4:23-24: - 23 and be renewed in the spirit of your mind, 24 and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.

Colossians 3:8-11: - 8 But now you yourselves are to put off all these: anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy language out of your mouth. 9 Do not lie to one another, since you have put off the old man with his deeds, 10 and have put on the new man who is renewed in knowledge according to the image of Him who created him, 11 where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcised nor uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave nor free, but Christ is all and in all.

I do not consider that I am wise in my own opinion, like some that let their thoughts discharge out like a machine gun on those who are in front of them.

We are to walk in relationship with God/Jesus which means that we are to go where God/Jesus goes, to stop where God/Jesus stops and to continue on our way when God/Jesus begins to walk along the pathway of our lives. What does it mean for us to walk humbly with our God?

It means that we are to be different and to reflect the attributes of God humbly to all of those with whom we rub shoulders with on a daily basis.

It may mean that we are generous with out cash towards others who are poor such that in giving we leave behind a blessing that has come from God Himself through us.

That our petitions to God reflect His heart and desires in that we are lifting up the burdens of the people, feeding the poor in spirit, clothing the naked, and encouraging God beauty to be tendered in that place after we are gone by those we leave behind us with a renewed spirit and adoration and appreciation of who God is in their lives.

That we show through our lives how to keep God's Sabbath Day for mankind Holy in spite of the opposition to change that is before us.

We are to be humble in all of our actions like servants and not Lord it over the people we are to help.

Shalom
