To show those supporting traditional marriage they mean business, Ford sponsored the June 6 issue of the homosexual publication The Advocate. The cover reads: "Polygamy & Gay Men. Dirty laundry or sexual freedom? How gay men handle multiple partners." The article promotes homosexual polygamy. Ford sponsored the publication with a full page back cover advertising Ford Motor company product Volvo and a full page ad for all Ford brands with the line: "Ford Motor Company. Standing strong with America's families and communities."
The problem here is that Ford is supporting these radical homosexual groups that want homosexuality embraced as an element of society and open to big problems such as polygamy. This is the enemy at work, folks.

The rise of postmodernism has allowed the advancement of such groups within our society. Funny how this modern-day philosophy allows Ford to boast about their values and concern for "families" while supporting perversion. After all, it's what is "in" right now; homosexuality that is. Definately the enemy at work.

The gender of the two marriage partners is onloy the tip of the iceberg. The next act of redefining marriage is not monogamy but to declare ones spouse the "Primary sexual partner". Is this Romans 1:18-36 or what?

I'd say you're definitely on the mark there with that verse Bernie; that's all the more reason why things like this should not be allowed. I think it's quite clear to Christians the "natural law" that God has established and how such acts go against it. Even with what secular science has found - the idea that we want to reproduce - coincides with the Word. You made another good point about the legal side of things and this is something that I have been arguing for a long time. When we allow homosexual marriage, what else do we have to allow? What if a man wants to marry an animal for tax purposes? What about those who want to marry multiple partners? Suddenly, marriage doesn't mean much of anything anymore. Marriage already has a huge problem in society with what the famous do and the overall statistics of divorce and adultery. Now we want to drag marriage through the mud a little more.

John Adams once proclaimed that the consitution was wrotten for a moral God fearing peple and no other. He went on to state that one can only have order in a free society when the people are inclined towards self restraint. The less contro there is from within, the more will be required from without.(This is the flaw with us trying to spread "Democracy" throughout the world)The Gospel does not stand or fal on how well we fight the political battle.Quite to the contrary, when we have to pass a law affirming what alway was ans should be, we have already lost the battle. Does anybody in your congregation need to be advised on how to vote on the issue of marriage? The CHurch should be striving to bring more believers into the fold, not regulating the conduct of unbelievers.

I guess we should not try to make judgements for eachother! Let's be little more liberal and do what you think is right, without interfereing with others
