30And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book: 31But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.

Thomas,
"Unless I see
the type [tupon] place [topon];
Jesus,
"Reach ..
my hands .. my side";
Thomas,
"My Lord and my God!"

Thomas only believed,
the Saviour
was going to be killed...
in Jerusalem.

Thomas only expected
the Lamb
would be nailed to the cross...
and be looked up to.

Thomas only knew the
Messiah’s
side would be pierced...
after death.

No disciple told Thomas anything
they had not known nor had expected;
they only told him,
“We have seen the Lord”.

But Thomas—
before he had seen Jesus,
The Risen,
had told them,

“Except I shall see and understand—
in his hands “the type” in Scripture
and in his side “the place” in Prophesy,
“I shall not believe”!

29Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen ME, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.

there is no doubt there, Jesus is the only TRUE and LIVING God and "Lord".

Here's the <point> Jesus, made, HIS conclusion, HIS statement, telling Thomas and not the other disciples, "29Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen ME, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed."

Now WHERE DID Thomas "believe"? Where he HAD not YET, "SEEN" Jesus RAISED, but had seen Him The Risen from the dead CHRIST AND LORD MY GOD:- IN THE SCRIPTURES AND "believed" yet had NOT seen the raised and risen Jesus in ESSENCE of "flesh and BONE" YET-- "THIS SAME JESUS YE CRUCIFIED WHOM GOD RAISED" : "ACCORDING TO THE SCRIPTURES".

Not according to the totally depraved minds and imaginations of madmen, a Jesus who was of "flesh" that was no flesh but was flesh which supposedly had no blood, just "BONE" and therefore was / is no real "flesh" by any means! For such a Jesus would not be the Christ and God in "ESSENCE" or "bone" (like Eve was in ESSENCE made from Adam -- of his "BONE", so that "man and wife they were one" AND OF ONE BLOOD AND FLESH!

First thanks for the reply, second, the body that was raised is not the body that died, it was changed by the power of the resurrection. Luke 24:36 "And as they thus spake, Jesus himself stood in the midst of them, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you."Luke 24:37 "But they were terrified and affrighted, and supposed that they had seen a spirit."Luke 24:38 "And he said unto them, Why are ye troubled? and why do thoughts arise in your hearts?"Luke 24:39 "Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have."Luke 24:40 "And when he had thus spoken, he shewed them his hands and his feet."Luke 24:41 "And while they yet believed not for joy, and wondered, he said unto them, Have ye here any meat?"Luke 24:42 "And they gave him a piece of a broiled fish, and of an honeycomb."Luke 24:43 "And he took it, and did eat before them."Luke 24:44 "And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me."Luke 24:45 "Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures,"

well these saw, and handled and touched the Lord Jesus, and still did not believe, but until he ate. then they were glade.

NOW, Thomas and the rest of the disciples,
John 20:19 "Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you."John 20:20 "And when he had so said, he shewed unto them his hands and his side. Then were the disciples glad, when they saw the Lord."John 20:21 "Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you."John 20:22 "And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost:"John 20:23 "Whose soever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them; and whose soever sins ye retain, they are retained."John 20:24 "But Thomas, one of the twelve, called Didymus, was not with them when Jesus came."John 20:25 "The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the Lord. But he said unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe."John 20:26 "And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you."John 20:27 "Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing."John 20:28 "And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God."John 20:29 "Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed."

so Thomas faith came by believing, but only when he "saw" him, but the other saw, and touch and didn't believe. so all of you who want to put Thomas down, well get off his back he had more FAITH than many of the disciples with him.

because of what the two men on the road to Emmaus said, Luke 24:35 "And they told what things were done in the way, and how he was known of them in breaking of bread." until he ate, not seening, or touching was suffice, but when he ate, and the way he ate. BINGO, just as the men on the road to Emmaus had their eyes opened, and they knew him. it was by his action that they knew him.

Now as to the body that the Lord Jesus had
scripture, 1 Corinthians 15:35 "But some man will say, How are the dead raised up? and with what body do they come?"1 Corinthians 15:36 "Thou fool, that which thou sowest is not quickened, except it die:"1 Corinthians 15:37 "And that which thou sowest, thou sowest not that body that shall be, but bare grain, it may chance of wheat, or of some other grain:"1 Corinthians 15:38 "But God giveth it a body as it hath pleased him, and to every seed his own body."1 Corinthians 15:39 "All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds."1 Corinthians 15:40 "There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another."1 Corinthians 15:41 "There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory."1 Corinthians 15:42 "So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:"1 Corinthians 15:43 "It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:"1 Corinthians 15:44 "It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body."1 Corinthians 15:45 "And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit."1 Corinthians 15:46 "Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual."1 Corinthians 15:47 "The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven."1 Corinthians 15:48 "As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly."1 Corinthians 15:49 "And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly."1 Corinthians 15:50 "Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption."1 Corinthians 15:51 "Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,"1 Corinthians 15:52 "In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed."1 Corinthians 15:53 "For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality."1 Corinthians 15:54 "So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory."1 Corinthians 15:55 "O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?"1 Corinthians 15:56 "The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law."1 Corinthians 15:57 "But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ."1 Corinthians 15:58 "Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord."

No need to be sorry for the post, and two no hurt has occured. busied? who? as I have said, I take no offense at anytime. no one can hurt me or do anything to offend me. I'm a free man, so fussing and fighting bothers me not, it's the other guy problem. for I let none of these things bring me down to that level. I am happy and free. no cares, so don't worry, no need to apologize me, for what?

the only thing that is busied, is one who do it to themselves..... ok.

The Integrity Of Jesus Christ Crucified ... Job a type
I changed the Text so as to read Christ the Object.

Job 2 1Then there came the day when The Son of God came to present Himself before the LORD, and Satan came also along to present himself before the LORD. 2And the LORD said unto Satan, From whence comest thou? And Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it (...it is my kingdom)! 3And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered My Servant (Jesus the Man of Nazareth)? Because there is none like Him in the earth, a perfect and an upright Man, one that feareth God, and shuns evil. He holdeth fast his integrity, although I move thee against Him, to destroy Him without cause (sin or corruptibility). 4And Satan answered the LORD, and said, Skin for skin (Like the first Adam, like the last Adam), yea, all that a man hath will he give for his life. [Matthew 4] 5But put forth thine hand now, and touch his bone and his flesh (crucify Him!), and He will curse thee to thy face. 6And the LORD said unto Satan, Behold, He is in thine hand, though (I) save his life.

the body that was raised is not the body that died, it was changed by the power of the resurrection.

Jesus' very own and selfsame body that had died, was RAISED INTACT "by the power of HIS resurrection" as is written
Luke 24:36 And as they thus spake, Jesus himself stood in the midst of them, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you. 37 But they were terrified and affrighted, and supposed that they had seen a spirit. 38 And he said unto them, Why are ye troubled? and why do thoughts arise in your hearts?" 39 "Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have." 40 "And when he had thus spoken, he shewed them his hands and his feet." 41 "And while they yet believed not for joy, and wondered, he said unto them, Have ye here any meat?" 42 "And they gave him a piece of a broiled fish, and of an honeycomb." 43 "And he took it, and did eat before them." 44 "And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the Law of Moses, and in the Prophets, and in the Psalms, concerning me." 45 "Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures,"

But you allege directly contrary <<the body that was raised is not the body that died, it was changed>>! You LIE against the very "Power of His Resurrection" which is the SPIRIT WHO BREATHED "the Law of Moses, and the Prophets, and the Psalms" as well as Luke 24. You are an unsuccessful saboteur of the Almighty Himself.

FIRST THANKS FOR THE REPLY. (smile).... :)

second, you said, "I lie", well lets see if I did or YOU... 1 Corinthians 15:35 "But some man will say, How are the dead raised up? and with what body do they come?"1 Corinthians 15:36 "Thou fool, that which thou sowest is not quickened, except it die:"
NOW LISTEN CAREFULLY GerhardEbersoehn TO THIS VERY NEXT VERSE,
1 Corinthians 15:37 "And that which thou sowest, thou sowest not that body that shall be, but bare grain, it may chance of wheat, or of some other grain:"BINGO, I COULD STOP RIGHT THERE. and your lie is reproved. but, lets expose your lie clearly.

1 Corinthians 15:44 "It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body." did you here that? BINGO, that natural body that came out of Mary is not the body that "shall be" LOL, LOL, LOL.

did you get that? now why? answer, the natural body that came from your human father and human mother LIVE by BLOOD. supportive scripture, Leviticus 17:11 "For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul."

well now GerhardEbersoehn, the Lord Jesus don't have any blood after he rose :p or did you notice that when you quoted Luke 24:39. so the nail prints are there and the spear print in his side is still there, but is he bleeding .... with "Blood?" . don't be silly, the life he live by now is the Spirit, NOT NATURAL BLOOD, but by the Spirit, an ENDLESS LIFE, with and ENDLESS BODY NOW. (smile)

Just as he LIVE, we like him will live. 1 John 3:2 "Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is."

we will not be like him in these natural bodies, that's why we will be "QUICKEN" or ... "CHANGED" according to the Spirit, if alive at his appearing, and or raised, at the resurrection ... to the new life, with new bodies. listen,1 Corinthians 15:38 "But God giveth it a body as it hath pleased him, and to every seed his own body." say WHAT! that body whaich came out of Mary is not the body NOW that he has in quality that came out of mary . (smile).

NOW REMEMBER WHAT YOU SAID? "Jesus' very own and selfsame body that had died, was RAISED INTACT "by the power of HIS resurrection" as is written" and this is what you said in the proof of your LIE, listen,
"But you allege directly contrary <<the body that was raised is not the body that died, it was changed>>! You LIE against the very "Power of His Resurrection" (smile), LOL, LOL, this is what YOU said about me, "I LIED", NOW, LISTEN TO THE BIBLE, 1 Corinthians 15:36 "Thou fool, that which thou sowest is not quickened, except it die:"1 Corinthians 15:37 "And that which thou sowest, thou sowest not that body that shall be, but bare grain, it may chance of wheat, or of some other grain:" so did the bible lie? WHY is is not the body that shall be? answer, 1 Corinthians 15:52 "In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed."1 Corinthians 15:53 "For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality." well GerhardEbersoehn, what is the immortality we must put on? answer, 1 Corinthians 15:44 "It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body."
Mary nor any other human woman cannot birth a "spiritual body". a natural body is not a spiritual body. as the apostle Paul said, 1 Corinthians 15:36 "Thou fool, that which thou sowest is not quickened, except it die:" anyone who think or believe differently, as the apostle Paul said, "Thou fool".

Shows how little you have learned.
LOL, (smile), Second ERROR of the day, and we haven't got to the sixth hour of the day yet, well lets see how little have I learned?.....
scripture, Genesis 2:23 "And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man."

where is the "BLOOD of MY BLOOD?", let us infom you of something, when God, the Lord Jesus the Holy Spirit made Adam on day three, he Adam just as God didn't have any "BLOOD. and when God saw that the man was alone, not physically, he made man a woman with the capability to reproduce. just as a baby in it's mother womb "MAKES" it's OWN blood from it's BONE MARROW. Each parent contributes half of the child’s alleles which determine blood group and type. and since Eve got her bones from Adam so the alleles or the gene of her chromosome was alterd or mutated in the transference.

which bring us right back to scripture, John 1:3 "All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made."

so any mutation, or any alternative in Genes and chromosomes are God doings.

Another successful sabotage operation.
